Nakon što su se javnost digla na noge jer Guccijev pulover podsjeća na lice Afroamerikanaca, luksuzni je modni brend taj proizvod povukao iz ponude, piše Bloomberg.

Tzv. “blackface” ('crno lice' u doslovnom prijevodu) odnosi se na kazališnu šminku koja služi za transformaciju izvođača u karikirani i stereotipni lik Afroamerikanca te je stoga simbol rasističkih predrasuda. Budući da Guccijev crni pulover pokriva donju polovicu lica, a oko usta ima prorez crvene boje, neodoljivo podsjeća upravo na “blackface”, piše novac.hr. Talijanski se modni brend odmah ispričao i obećao ukloniti svoj 890 dolara vrijedan proizvod iz prodaje. Iz kompanije su dodali i da će učiti iz svoje greške i povećati raznolikost među zaposlenicima.

 

U posljednje se vrijeme niz modnih brendova našlo usred rasističkih skandala. Prošli je mjesec Prada također povukla neke svoje proizvode iz linije Pradamalia koji su izgledali poput crnih majmuna s velikim crvenim usnama, a Dolce & Gabbana je bio čak prisiljen otkazati svoju modnu reviju zbog optužbi za rasizam.

Taj je brend, naime, snimio video kampanju s kineskim modelima koji jedu talijansku hranu kao što su pizza i tjestenina sa štapićima, dok se kineski narator muči s izgovorom imena kompanije. Kako je kampanja diljem Kine viđena kao uvredljiva jer stereotipizira taj narod, D&G je povukao video.

Tzv. “blackface” ('crno lice' u doslovnom prijevodu) odnosi se na kazališnu šminku koja služi za transformaciju izvođača u karikirani i stereotipni lik Afroamerikanca te je stoga simbol rasističkih predrasuda. Budući da Guccijev crni pulover pokriva donju polovicu lica, a oko usta ima prorez crvene boje, neodoljivo podsjeća upravo na “blackface”, piše novac.hr. Talijanski se modni brend odmah ispričao i obećao ukloniti svoj 890 dolara vrijedan proizvod iz prodaje. Iz kompanije su dodali i da će učiti iz svoje greške i povećati raznolikost među zaposlenicima.

 

U posljednje se vrijeme niz modnih brendova našlo usred rasističkih skandala. Prošli je mjesec Prada također povukla neke svoje proizvode iz linije Pradamalia koji su izgledali poput crnih majmuna s velikim crvenim usnama, a Dolce & Gabbana je bio čak prisiljen otkazati svoju modnu reviju zbog optužbi za rasizam.

Taj je brend, naime, snimio video kampanju s kineskim modelima koji jedu talijansku hranu kao što su pizza i tjestenina sa štapićima, dok se kineski narator muči s izgovorom imena kompanije. Kako je kampanja diljem Kine viđena kao uvredljiva jer stereotipizira taj narod, D&G je povukao video.
