Ivana Kapitanović najradije bi sada bila u Herningu uz hrvatsku reprezentaciju, ali ne može.
U Metzu, gdje je trenutno na snazi policijski sat, oporavlja se od operacije prednjeg križnog ligamenta koljena. Početne prognoze povratka u trenutku teške ozljede zadobivene koncem listopada bile su između šest i osam mjeseci, no situacija se razvija povoljno i naša nominalno prva vratarka vjeruje da se može vratiti i za pet.
Dok prolazi redovite terapije, prati svaki korak naše reprezentacije na Europskom prvenstvu u Danskoj. Bit će tako i danas kad će se od 18 sati „nacrtati” ispred TV-ekrana i bodriti svoje suigračice u borbi za finale.
- Nisam fizički s njima, ali kao da jesam. Stalno se čujemo, znaju da sam tu uz njih. Iskreno, puno mi je teže pratiti utakmice sa strane nego ih igrati. Ovako imam dojam kao da su mi emocije još izraženije – radosnim glasom javila nam se Kapitanović (26), najbolja hrvatska rukometašica u 2019. godini i članica francuskog Metza.
Solinjanka je, kaže, vjerovala u dobar rezultat u Danskoj.
- Ćamili je bilo teško što ja ne mogu igrati, ali rekla sam joj da ona mora otići i biti najbolja! Vjerovala sam da možemo. Prošle smo dosta teških situacija, ali smo uvijek bile skupa. Nekad bi nas ozljede zaustavile, a nekad rotacija koja nije tako široka kao u nekim drugim reprezentacijama.
Što vas najviše oduševljava kod cura?
- Zajedništvo i nesebičnost. Imamo i kvalitetu, naravno, ali nitko ne stavlja ego ispred ekipe. Svi su jednaki i ravnopravni. Ma, srce mi je k’o kuća!
Iako nema vas, hrvatska vrata u sigurnim su rukama Tee Pijević, vaše bliske prijateljice i bivše suigračice iz Metza.
- Imam maksimalno povjerenje u nju i nisam se ni najmanje plašila kako će me zamijeniti. Puno pričamo prije svake utakmice i pokušavam joj pomoći koliko mogu. Osjećam odgovornost za reprezentaciju iako me nema.
Okrenimo se Francuskoj. Što kažu vaše suigračice iz Metza?
- Imam tamo super prijateljice s kojima provodim cijelu godinu i one su presretne zbog nas. Znaju koliko mi je stalo do reprezentacije. Djeluje mi kao da nas se plaše jer smo u naletu i neopterećene. Oni pošto-poto žele finale i zato su pod većim pritiskom. Nakon lanjskog razočaranja na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Japanu mediji su ih osuđivali i zato su motivirane da na ovom turniru pokažu što znaju.
Kako one igraju, što nas čeka?
- Igraju slično mom Metzu. Njihova je najveća snaga obrana na čelu s tri sjajne golmanice. Jake su i u tranziciji, polukontri. Moramo im parirati trkački. Ne žele s nama igrati šest na šest niti sporiju utakmicu na malo golova.
Po običaju – obrana će odlučiti?
- Uvijek je obrana ključ. One su fizički odmornije jer imaju veću rotaciju pa više dijele minutažu. Mi smo naš povijesni uspjeh ostvarile, ali ne smijemo se time zadovoljiti.
Kako proživljavate utakmice gledajući ih pred ekranom? Živcirate li se, vičete?
- Mirna sam i staložena, baš kao i na terenu. Ne želim se živcirati jer imam osjećaj da ću to nekako prenijeti na suigračice. To mi je ostalo iz igre. Tek na kraju utakmice pustim emocijama da me obuzmu. Izađe na površinu sve što sam skupljala u sebi. Poslije Njemačke ekipa me nazvala odmah s terena, nisam znala kud ću od sreće.
Na ovom prvenstvu debitirali ste u novinarskoj ulozi, kao kolumnistica na stranicama Hrvatskoga rukometnog saveza. Kakvo vam je to iskustvo?
- Bilo mi je drago kad su mi to ponudili, iako nisam bila sigurna kako ću se snaći jer sve nekako emotivno proživljavam. Nije uvijek lako sročiti sve te misli. Svaka čast vama novinarima, težak je vaš posao. Nadam se da nisam razočarala čitatelje, ali dajte vi meni balun i stavite me na gol, u tome sam ipak bolja!

Ivana Kapitanović najradije bi sada bila u Herningu uz hrvatsku reprezentaciju, ali ne može.
U Metzu, gdje je trenutno na snazi policijski sat, oporavlja se od operacije prednjeg križnog ligamenta koljena. Početne prognoze povratka u trenutku teške ozljede zadobivene koncem listopada bile su između šest i osam mjeseci, no situacija se razvija povoljno i naša nominalno prva vratarka vjeruje da se može vratiti i za pet.
Dok prolazi redovite terapije, prati svaki korak naše reprezentacije na Europskom prvenstvu u Danskoj. Bit će tako i danas kad će se od 18 sati „nacrtati” ispred TV-ekrana i bodriti svoje suigračice u borbi za finale.
- Nisam fizički s njima, ali kao da jesam. Stalno se čujemo, znaju da sam tu uz njih. Iskreno, puno mi je teže pratiti utakmice sa strane nego ih igrati. Ovako imam dojam kao da su mi emocije još izraženije – radosnim glasom javila nam se Kapitanović (26), najbolja hrvatska rukometašica u 2019. godini i članica francuskog Metza.
Solinjanka je, kaže, vjerovala u dobar rezultat u Danskoj.
- Ćamili je bilo teško što ja ne mogu igrati, ali rekla sam joj da ona mora otići i biti najbolja! Vjerovala sam da možemo. Prošle smo dosta teških situacija, ali smo uvijek bile skupa. Nekad bi nas ozljede zaustavile, a nekad rotacija koja nije tako široka kao u nekim drugim reprezentacijama.
Što vas najviše oduševljava kod cura?
- Zajedništvo i nesebičnost. Imamo i kvalitetu, naravno, ali nitko ne stavlja ego ispred ekipe. Svi su jednaki i ravnopravni. Ma, srce mi je k’o kuća!
Iako nema vas, hrvatska vrata u sigurnim su rukama Tee Pijević, vaše bliske prijateljice i bivše suigračice iz Metza.
- Imam maksimalno povjerenje u nju i nisam se ni najmanje plašila kako će me zamijeniti. Puno pričamo prije svake utakmice i pokušavam joj pomoći koliko mogu. Osjećam odgovornost za reprezentaciju iako me nema.
Okrenimo se Francuskoj. Što kažu vaše suigračice iz Metza?
- Imam tamo super prijateljice s kojima provodim cijelu godinu i one su presretne zbog nas. Znaju koliko mi je stalo do reprezentacije. Djeluje mi kao da nas se plaše jer smo u naletu i neopterećene. Oni pošto-poto žele finale i zato su pod većim pritiskom. Nakon lanjskog razočaranja na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Japanu mediji su ih osuđivali i zato su motivirane da na ovom turniru pokažu što znaju.
Kako one igraju, što nas čeka?
- Igraju slično mom Metzu. Njihova je najveća snaga obrana na čelu s tri sjajne golmanice. Jake su i u tranziciji, polukontri. Moramo im parirati trkački. Ne žele s nama igrati šest na šest niti sporiju utakmicu na malo golova.
Po običaju – obrana će odlučiti?
- Uvijek je obrana ključ. One su fizički odmornije jer imaju veću rotaciju pa više dijele minutažu. Mi smo naš povijesni uspjeh ostvarile, ali ne smijemo se time zadovoljiti.
Kako proživljavate utakmice gledajući ih pred ekranom? Živcirate li se, vičete?
- Mirna sam i staložena, baš kao i na terenu. Ne želim se živcirati jer imam osjećaj da ću to nekako prenijeti na suigračice. To mi je ostalo iz igre. Tek na kraju utakmice pustim emocijama da me obuzmu. Izađe na površinu sve što sam skupljala u sebi. Poslije Njemačke ekipa me nazvala odmah s terena, nisam znala kud ću od sreće.
Na ovom prvenstvu debitirali ste u novinarskoj ulozi, kao kolumnistica na stranicama Hrvatskoga rukometnog saveza. Kakvo vam je to iskustvo?
- Bilo mi je drago kad su mi to ponudili, iako nisam bila sigurna kako ću se snaći jer sve nekako emotivno proživljavam. Nije uvijek lako sročiti sve te misli. Svaka čast vama novinarima, težak je vaš posao. Nadam se da nisam razočarala čitatelje, ali dajte vi meni balun i stavite me na gol, u tome sam ipak bolja!
