Europska vaterpolska federacija (LEN) prijeti suspenzijom hrvatskom vaterpolu ukoliko im do srijede, 20. listopada na račun ne stigne uplata od 200.000 eura, koliko joj je Hrvatski vaterpolski savez još dužan platiti na ime kotizacije za domaćinstvo nedavno održanog Europskog prvenstva u Zagrebu.
U suprotnom, navodno, hrvatski klubovi, možda i reprezentacija, neće moći nastupati u natjecanjima koja organizira LEN.
Po svemu sudeći, iako nije potvrđeno, to značenje ima riječ ‘suspenzija’ u LEN-ovu pismu odaslanom na adresu HVS-a.
Kad se HVS kandidirao za domaćinstvo EP-a, u svojoj ponudi je istaknuo iznos od 800.000 eura. Do početka ljeta 600.000 eura je uplaćeno LEN-u, a posljednju ratu kotizacije, 200.000 eura, HVS je trebao uplatiti još za vrijeme EP-a. Međutim, novca na računu nije bilo.
LEN je tada odgodio plaćanje do 20. listopada, ali kako ni danas, 40-tak dana nakon završetka prvenstva na Savi, koje je za našu reprezentaciju završilo na najbolji mogući način, osvajanjem europskog zlata, na računu Saveza još nema tog novca za uplatu, stigla je prijetnja.
Kako doznajemo, HVS, tada s Pericom Bukićem na čelu, nije na svoju ruku u kandidaturi za domaćinstvo EP-a izvjesio ponudu od 800.000 eura, koja je LEN-u bila primamljiva te je Zagreb, a ne Oradea ili Debrecen, dobio organizaciju velikog natjecanja.
Država (spominjalo se jamstvo Vlade RH prilikom kandidature Hrvatske, odnosno Zagreba) stoji iza svega. Dakle, tko je to iz državnog vrha obećao novac, a sad to obećanje nije ispunio? Njemu vodstvo HVS-a treba danas pokucati na vrata jer sutra je srijeda, 20. listopada.
- Stvarno mi nije jasno odakle ova reakcija LEN-a, doslovno preko noći. Pa oni su nas hvalili kako je prvenstvo u Zagrebu bilo najbolje organizirano do sada, uložili smo puno truda i novca kako bi sve bilo na jednoj visokoj razini i oni su bili zadovoljni. Ovo je u najmanju ruku nekorektno ponašanje. Osim toga, što klubovi imaju s ovim dugom? Može se kazniti Savez na puno načina, može se isključiti reprezentacija, pa mi iduće ljeto organiziramo i juniorski EP. Nije mi jasan ovaj grubi potez - u jednom dahu nam je ispričao zamjenik predsjednika Bukić.
Što ćete konkretno napraviti?
- Osobno sam pripremio odgovor za LEN, danas ćemo imati sastanak UO Saveza kako bi usuglasili stavove na ovaj ultimatum, a u pismu će biti navedeno samo činjenično stanje.

Europska vaterpolska federacija (LEN) prijeti suspenzijom hrvatskom vaterpolu ukoliko im do srijede, 20. listopada na račun ne stigne uplata od 200.000 eura, koliko joj je Hrvatski vaterpolski savez još dužan platiti na ime kotizacije za domaćinstvo nedavno održanog Europskog prvenstva u Zagrebu.
U suprotnom, navodno, hrvatski klubovi, možda i reprezentacija, neće moći nastupati u natjecanjima koja organizira LEN.
Po svemu sudeći, iako nije potvrđeno, to značenje ima riječ ‘suspenzija’ u LEN-ovu pismu odaslanom na adresu HVS-a.
Kad se HVS kandidirao za domaćinstvo EP-a, u svojoj ponudi je istaknuo iznos od 800.000 eura. Do početka ljeta 600.000 eura je uplaćeno LEN-u, a posljednju ratu kotizacije, 200.000 eura, HVS je trebao uplatiti još za vrijeme EP-a. Međutim, novca na računu nije bilo.
LEN je tada odgodio plaćanje do 20. listopada, ali kako ni danas, 40-tak dana nakon završetka prvenstva na Savi, koje je za našu reprezentaciju završilo na najbolji mogući način, osvajanjem europskog zlata, na računu Saveza još nema tog novca za uplatu, stigla je prijetnja.
Kako doznajemo, HVS, tada s Pericom Bukićem na čelu, nije na svoju ruku u kandidaturi za domaćinstvo EP-a izvjesio ponudu od 800.000 eura, koja je LEN-u bila primamljiva te je Zagreb, a ne Oradea ili Debrecen, dobio organizaciju velikog natjecanja.
Država (spominjalo se jamstvo Vlade RH prilikom kandidature Hrvatske, odnosno Zagreba) stoji iza svega. Dakle, tko je to iz državnog vrha obećao novac, a sad to obećanje nije ispunio? Njemu vodstvo HVS-a treba danas pokucati na vrata jer sutra je srijeda, 20. listopada.
- Stvarno mi nije jasno odakle ova reakcija LEN-a, doslovno preko noći. Pa oni su nas hvalili kako je prvenstvo u Zagrebu bilo najbolje organizirano do sada, uložili smo puno truda i novca kako bi sve bilo na jednoj visokoj razini i oni su bili zadovoljni. Ovo je u najmanju ruku nekorektno ponašanje. Osim toga, što klubovi imaju s ovim dugom? Može se kazniti Savez na puno načina, može se isključiti reprezentacija, pa mi iduće ljeto organiziramo i juniorski EP. Nije mi jasan ovaj grubi potez - u jednom dahu nam je ispričao zamjenik predsjednika Bukić.
Što ćete konkretno napraviti?
- Osobno sam pripremio odgovor za LEN, danas ćemo imati sastanak UO Saveza kako bi usuglasili stavove na ovaj ultimatum, a u pismu će biti navedeno samo činjenično stanje.
