Suprotno općem dojmu, Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) u svom najnovijem izvješću dokazuje da se većina olimpijskih borilišta nastavlja koristiti i nakon Olimpijskih igara.

- Izvješće pokazuje da se 92 posto stalnih borilišta za Olimpijske igre 21. stoljeća i 85 posto svih stalnih olimpijskih borilišta od 1896. godine još uvijek koriste, stvarajući značajne pogodnosti za stanovnike gradova i regija domaćina Olimpijskih igara - tvrdi MOO.

Izvješće pod naslovom "Više od 125 godina olimpijskih objekata: korištenje nakon Igara" prvi je službeni popis korištenja stadiona i arena nakon aktualnih Olimpijskih igara. Izvješće pokazuje da je od 817 stalnih objekata, oko 85 posto još uvijek u upotrebi, što se popelo na 92 ​​posto za 206 borilišta u uporabi u 21. stoljeću.

To je inventar stanja od prvih Olimpijskih igara modernog doba u Ateni 1896. do Zimskih olimpijskih igara u Pyeongchangu 2018., kako bi se pregledalo 817 stalnih i 106 privremenih olimpijskih objekata kroz održane 51 Igre.

- Ovo izvješće je vrlo impresivno svjedočanstvo o naslijeđu koje Olimpijske igre stvaraju u gradovima i regijama domaćinima - rekao je Christophe Dubi, izvršni direktor Olimpijskih igara u MOO-u.

- Oduševljeni smo vidjeti da velika većina olimpijskih mjesta i dalje nudi mogućnosti za sportska natjecanja i mogućnosti treninga na elitnoj i nižoj ili rekreativnoj razini, istovremeno stvarajući zdravstvene i društvene koristi. Budući da se mi u MOO-u fokusiramo na održivost i naslijeđe, prošla iskustva su važnija nego ikad - naglasio je Dubi.

Od 32 borilišta koja su korištena na Olimpijskim igrama u Ateni 2004., 75 posto je još uvijek u upotrebi. Taj postotak raste na 83 posto za Sapporo 1972 (od 12 korištenih mjesta), 93 posto za Rio 2016 (od 28 objekata) i 94 posto za Barcelonu 1992 (od 35). 

U Vancouveru 2010. i Salt Lake Cityju, od 12 stalnih borilišta koja su se koristili u svakom od gradova, svi su još uvijek u upotrebi.

Od 15 posto stalnih objekata koji nisu u uporabi, nekima je istekao rok zbog dotrajalosti, dio je uništen u ratu ili zbog katastrofa, a drugi su se uklopili u nove urbanističke projekte. Samo 35 objekata, ili četiri posto od svih 817 stalnih mjesta, zatvoreno je, neaktivno ili napušteno.

Izvješće također pokazuje da olimpijskaborilišta pružaju dugoročne prednosti ako su prilagođena za višestruku upotrebu, uključujući sportske i nesportske događaje kao što su koncerti i festivali.

Međunarodni olimpijski odbor, kao dio svojih najnovijih polazišta obuhvaćenih Olimpijskim programom 2020., sada potiče olimpijske organizatore da na najbolji način iskoriste postojeća i privremena mjesta i grade nova samo ako postoji dokazana dugoročna potreba.

Domaćini nadolazećih igara Pariz 2024. i Milan/Cortina 2026. smanjili su planiranu izgradnju, tako da će nova borilišta predstavljati samo pet, odnosno sedam posto prostora koji se koriste. Los Angeles će, međutim, biti domaćin Olimpijskih igara 2028. bez izgradnje niti jednog novog sportskog objekta.

Suprotno općem dojmu, Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) u svom najnovijem izvješću dokazuje da se većina olimpijskih borilišta nastavlja koristiti i nakon Olimpijskih igara.

- Izvješće pokazuje da se 92 posto stalnih borilišta za Olimpijske igre 21. stoljeća i 85 posto svih stalnih olimpijskih borilišta od 1896. godine još uvijek koriste, stvarajući značajne pogodnosti za stanovnike gradova i regija domaćina Olimpijskih igara - tvrdi MOO.

Izvješće pod naslovom "Više od 125 godina olimpijskih objekata: korištenje nakon Igara" prvi je službeni popis korištenja stadiona i arena nakon aktualnih Olimpijskih igara. Izvješće pokazuje da je od 817 stalnih objekata, oko 85 posto još uvijek u upotrebi, što se popelo na 92 ​​posto za 206 borilišta u uporabi u 21. stoljeću.

To je inventar stanja od prvih Olimpijskih igara modernog doba u Ateni 1896. do Zimskih olimpijskih igara u Pyeongchangu 2018., kako bi se pregledalo 817 stalnih i 106 privremenih olimpijskih objekata kroz održane 51 Igre.

- Ovo izvješće je vrlo impresivno svjedočanstvo o naslijeđu koje Olimpijske igre stvaraju u gradovima i regijama domaćinima - rekao je Christophe Dubi, izvršni direktor Olimpijskih igara u MOO-u.

- Oduševljeni smo vidjeti da velika većina olimpijskih mjesta i dalje nudi mogućnosti za sportska natjecanja i mogućnosti treninga na elitnoj i nižoj ili rekreativnoj razini, istovremeno stvarajući zdravstvene i društvene koristi. Budući da se mi u MOO-u fokusiramo na održivost i naslijeđe, prošla iskustva su važnija nego ikad - naglasio je Dubi.

Od 32 borilišta koja su korištena na Olimpijskim igrama u Ateni 2004., 75 posto je još uvijek u upotrebi. Taj postotak raste na 83 posto za Sapporo 1972 (od 12 korištenih mjesta), 93 posto za Rio 2016 (od 28 objekata) i 94 posto za Barcelonu 1992 (od 35). 

U Vancouveru 2010. i Salt Lake Cityju, od 12 stalnih borilišta koja su se koristili u svakom od gradova, svi su još uvijek u upotrebi.

Od 15 posto stalnih objekata koji nisu u uporabi, nekima je istekao rok zbog dotrajalosti, dio je uništen u ratu ili zbog katastrofa, a drugi su se uklopili u nove urbanističke projekte. Samo 35 objekata, ili četiri posto od svih 817 stalnih mjesta, zatvoreno je, neaktivno ili napušteno.

Izvješće također pokazuje da olimpijskaborilišta pružaju dugoročne prednosti ako su prilagođena za višestruku upotrebu, uključujući sportske i nesportske događaje kao što su koncerti i festivali.

Međunarodni olimpijski odbor, kao dio svojih najnovijih polazišta obuhvaćenih Olimpijskim programom 2020., sada potiče olimpijske organizatore da na najbolji način iskoriste postojeća i privremena mjesta i grade nova samo ako postoji dokazana dugoročna potreba.

Domaćini nadolazećih igara Pariz 2024. i Milan/Cortina 2026. smanjili su planiranu izgradnju, tako da će nova borilišta predstavljati samo pet, odnosno sedam posto prostora koji se koriste. Los Angeles će, međutim, biti domaćin Olimpijskih igara 2028. bez izgradnje niti jednog novog sportskog objekta.

Suprotno općem dojmu, Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) u svom najnovijem izvješću dokazuje da se većina olimpijskih borilišta nastavlja koristiti i nakon Olimpijskih igara.

- Izvješće pokazuje da se 92 posto stalnih borilišta za Olimpijske igre 21. stoljeća i 85 posto svih stalnih olimpijskih borilišta od 1896. godine još uvijek koriste, stvarajući značajne pogodnosti za stanovnike gradova i regija domaćina Olimpijskih igara - tvrdi MOO.

Izvješće pod naslovom "Više od 125 godina olimpijskih objekata: korištenje nakon Igara" prvi je službeni popis korištenja stadiona i arena nakon aktualnih Olimpijskih igara. Izvješće pokazuje da je od 817 stalnih objekata, oko 85 posto još uvijek u upotrebi, što se popelo na 92 ​​posto za 206 borilišta u uporabi u 21. stoljeću....
