Kada će ispred crkve sv. Frane biti postavljen spomenik Ivanu Pavlu II. još uvijek nije poznato, a to nam je otkrio odgovor gradonačelnika Ivice Puljka gradskoj vijećnici Lidiji Bekavac (HGS).
Na prošloj sjednici Gradskog vijeća Bekavac je pitala gradonačelnika Ivicu Puljka kada će se raspisati natječaj za kip Ivanu Pavlu II. za čije je postavljanja donesena odluka Gradskog vijeća još u prosincu 2020. godine.
- Postavljanje spomenika Ivanu Pavlu II planiramo u budućih par godina, u skladu s odlukama Gradskog vijeća - odgovorio joj je gradonačelnik Puljak.

Podsjetimo, inicijativa za podizanje spomenika papi Ivanu Pavlu II. datira još od 2007. godine, naime grad Split je tada prvi put donio odluku o podizanju spomenika Ivanu Pavlu II.
Od tada se ova odluka par puta promijenila da bi 2020. u povodu stote obljetnice njegovog rođenja ponovno pokrenuta inicijativa za podizanje spomenika i na sjednici u prosincu 2020. godine odredila se lokacija postavljanja spomenika svetom papi Ivanu Pavlu II. - na zelenoj površini ispred crkve sv. Frane.
Slično pitanje oko postavljanja spomenika Ivanu Pavlu II. postavila je Bekavac gradonačelniku Puljku i prije dvije godine, u studenom 2021. godine. Tada ju je zanimalo hoće li se do kraja 2021. godine pokrenuti projektni natječaj.
- Spomenike čije je postavljanje izglasalo Gradsko vijeće Grad će postavljati prema mogućnostima kad se za to steknu uvjeti - odgovorio joj je Puljak 2021. godine.

- Kako znamo, u mjesecu listopadu se navršilo 25 godina od kada je sveti Otac posjetio grad Split. Još jednom želim pojasniti, odluka Gradskog vijeća o postavljanju spomenika postoji i ona je donesena u prosincu 2020. te godine. Sve dozvole za postavljenje spomenika ispred crkve sv. Frane su ishodovane.
Gradonačelnik je jedina osoba o kojoj ovisi postavljanje spomenika Papi. On treba pokrenuti postupak za provođenje Projektnog natječaja za izradu umjetničkog rješenja za spomenik Ivanu Pavlu II. Međutim kako je on i do sada pokazao svojim (ne)radom, on prebacuje odgovornost sa sebe po tko zna koji put. Ne želim da ovo bude političko pitanje već mala gesta zahvalnosti čovjeku koji je toliko ljubio našu Domovinu Hrvatsku - kazala nam je gradska vijećnica Bekavac.

Kada će ispred crkve sv. Frane biti postavljen spomenik Ivanu Pavlu II. još uvijek nije poznato, a to nam je otkrio odgovor gradonačelnika Ivice Puljka gradskoj vijećnici Lidiji Bekavac (HGS).
Na prošloj sjednici Gradskog vijeća Bekavac je pitala gradonačelnika Ivicu Puljka kada će se raspisati natječaj za kip Ivanu Pavlu II. za čije je postavljanja donesena odluka Gradskog vijeća još u prosincu 2020. godine.
- Postavljanje spomenika Ivanu Pavlu II planiramo u budućih par godina, u skladu s odlukama Gradskog vijeća - odgovorio joj je gradonačelnik Puljak.

Podsjetimo, inicijativa za podizanje spomenika papi Ivanu Pavlu II. datira još od 2007. godine, naime grad Split je tada prvi put donio odluku o podizanju spomenika Ivanu Pavlu II.
Od tada se ova odluka par puta promijenila da bi 2020. u povodu stote obljetnice njegovog rođenja ponovno pokrenuta inicijativa za podizanje spomenika i na sjednici u prosincu 2020. godine odredila se lokacija postavljanja spomenika svetom papi Ivanu Pavlu II. - na zelenoj površini ispred crkve sv. Frane.
Slično pitanje oko postavljanja spomenika Ivanu Pavlu II. postavila je Bekavac gradonačelniku Puljku i prije dvije godine, u studenom 2021. godine. Tada ju je zanimalo hoće li se do kraja 2021. godine pokrenuti projektni natječaj.
- Spomenike čije je postavljanje izglasalo Gradsko vijeće Grad će postavljati prema mogućnostima kad se za to steknu uvjeti - odgovorio joj je Puljak 2021. godine.

- Kako znamo, u mjesecu listopadu se navršilo 25 godina od kada je sveti Otac posjetio grad Split. Još jednom želim pojasniti, odluka Gradskog vijeća o postavljanju spomenika postoji i ona je donesena u prosincu 2020. te godine. Sve dozvole za postavljenje spomenika ispred crkve sv. Frane su ishodovane.
Gradonačelnik je jedina osoba o kojoj ovisi postavljanje spomenika Papi. On treba pokrenuti postupak za provođenje Projektnog natječaja za izradu umjetničkog rješenja za spomenik Ivanu Pavlu II. Međutim kako je on i do sada pokazao svojim (ne)radom, on prebacuje odgovornost sa sebe po tko zna koji put. Ne želim da ovo bude političko pitanje već mala gesta zahvalnosti čovjeku koji je toliko ljubio našu Domovinu Hrvatsku - kazala nam je gradska vijećnica Bekavac.
