Netflix ponovo ima veliki hit, ali osim publike ovaj put je oduševljena i kritika.
Riječ je o nedavno puštenoj seriji "The Sandman" za koju je Netflix potrošio vrtoglavih 165 milijuna dolara. Isplatilo se. Kritičari idu tako daleko da tvrde kako je riječ o pravom remek-djelo.
Glavne uloge "The Sandmana" igrali su Tom Sturridge kao San, Gwendolyn Christie kao Lucifer, Kirby Howell-Baptiste kao Smrt, Jenna Coleman kao Johanna Constantine, a Mark Hamill daje glas liku Merva Pumpkinheada.

U svom osvrtu Amelia Emberwing, kritičarka IGN-a, napisala je, kako je, osim jedne male zamjerke, serija pravo remek-djelo.
"Posao adaptacije je poštovati izvorni materijal dok nove obožavatelje upoznaje s nečim što će im se, nadamo se, svidjeti i ne znam koliko je serija dobrodošla novim gledateljima kada se radi o tome koliko brzo prelazi s jedne priče na drugu.
U tom jednom, vrlo specifičnom smislu, serija možda neće obaviti svoj posao, što me sprječava da joj dam ocjenu 10/10 uprkos činjenici da je, osim te jedne vrlo male zamjerke, 'The Sandman' remek-djelo", istakla je.
Kritičar Richard Newby iz magazina Empire se nada da će serija imati više sezona, jer kako kaže, to zaslužuje.
"Sa svojom pažnjom prema izvornom materijalu, svojom impresivnom glumačkom postavom i vrstom ekspanzivne izgradnje svijeta koja zasigurno zahtijeva više sezona, 'The Sandman' je ono od čega su sazdani snovi", istakao je.
Iako se kritičari nisu složili oko toga u kojoj je mjeri serija uspješna adaptacija izvornog materijala, ipak su se složni da seriju vrijedi pogledati.
"U roku od nekoliko minuta vikat ćete 'Objesite to u Louvreu', samo da bi vas onda dočekalo nešto još ljepše dok vam glas ne postane promukao do druge epizode.
Ali svejedno ćete htjeti nastaviti s gledanjem jer 'The Sandman' ima lukavu vještinu završavanja svake epizode nečim što vas privlači za još, čak i ako se neki od tih ranijih nastavaka doimaju više samostalno", rekao je David Opie, kritičar Digital Spya.
Serija se temelji na istoimenom liku DC Comicsa.

Glavni lik ove serije stripova je Sandman, odnosno Dream koji je poznat pod raznim imenima kao što su to Morpheus, Oneiros, Lord of Dreaming… Njegova priča započinje time što je greškom u kultnom ritualu (prizivanju Smrti) zatočen na 70 godina. Morpheus dolazi u današnje vrijeme i nakon osvete svojim otmičarima, pokušava obnoviti i povratiti svoje kraljevstvo Dreaming.
Sandman je dio poznatih Endless-a među kojima su: Destiny, Death, Dream, Destruction, Desire, Despire i Delirium.
Zanimljivo je napomenuti kako su kroz Sandmana protkani i razni likovi iz DC-jeva univerzuma. Tako možemo primijetiti poznata imena kao što je to John Constantine, The Justice League i brojna druga. No, glavni neprijatelji Sandmana ostaju demoni i mnogi drugi mitološki stvorovi.
Zanimljivo je kako se tvrdilo kako je ovaj strip, nastao 1988.godine, često proglašavan neprilagodljivim za tv ekrane.

Netflix ponovo ima veliki hit, ali osim publike ovaj put je oduševljena i kritika.
Riječ je o nedavno puštenoj seriji "The Sandman" za koju je Netflix potrošio vrtoglavih 165 milijuna dolara. Isplatilo se. Kritičari idu tako daleko da tvrde kako je riječ o pravom remek-djelo.
Glavne uloge "The Sandmana" igrali su Tom Sturridge kao San, Gwendolyn Christie kao Lucifer, Kirby Howell-Baptiste kao Smrt, Jenna Coleman kao Johanna Constantine, a Mark Hamill daje glas liku Merva Pumpkinheada.

U svom osvrtu Amelia Emberwing, kritičarka IGN-a, napisala je, kako je, osim jedne male zamjerke, serija pravo remek-djelo.
"Posao adaptacije je poštovati izvorni materijal dok nove obožavatelje upoznaje s nečim što će im se, nadamo se, svidjeti i ne znam koliko je serija dobrodošla novim gledateljima kada se radi o tome koliko brzo prelazi s jedne priče na drugu.
U tom jednom, vrlo specifičnom smislu, serija možda neće obaviti svoj posao, što me sprječava da joj dam ocjenu 10/10 uprkos činjenici da je, osim te jedne vrlo male zamjerke, 'The Sandman' remek-djelo", istakla je.
Kritičar Richard Newby iz magazina Empire se nada da će serija imati više sezona, jer kako kaže, to zaslužuje.
"Sa svojom pažnjom prema izvornom materijalu, svojom impresivnom glumačkom postavom i vrstom ekspanzivne izgradnje svijeta koja zasigurno zahtijeva više sezona, 'The Sandman' je ono od čega su sazdani snovi", istakao je.
Iako se kritičari nisu složili oko toga u kojoj je mjeri serija uspješna adaptacija izvornog materijala, ipak su se složni da seriju vrijedi pogledati.
"U roku od nekoliko minuta vikat ćete 'Objesite to u Louvreu', samo da bi vas onda dočekalo nešto još ljepše dok vam glas ne postane promukao do druge epizode.
Ali svejedno ćete htjeti nastaviti s gledanjem jer 'The Sandman' ima lukavu vještinu završavanja svake epizode nečim što vas privlači za još, čak i ako se neki od tih ranijih nastavaka doimaju više samostalno", rekao je David Opie, kritičar Digital Spya.
Serija se temelji na istoimenom liku DC Comicsa.

Glavni lik ove serije stripova je Sandman, odnosno Dream koji je poznat pod raznim imenima kao što su to Morpheus, Oneiros, Lord of Dreaming… Njegova priča započinje time što je greškom u kultnom ritualu (prizivanju Smrti) zatočen na 70 godina. Morpheus dolazi u današnje vrijeme i nakon osvete svojim otmičarima, pokušava obnoviti i povratiti svoje kraljevstvo Dreaming.
Sandman je dio poznatih Endless-a među kojima su: Destiny, Death, Dream, Destruction, Desire, Despire i Delirium.
Zanimljivo je napomenuti kako su kroz Sandmana protkani i razni likovi iz DC-jeva univerzuma. Tako možemo primijetiti poznata imena kao što je to John Constantine, The Justice League i brojna druga. No, glavni neprijatelji Sandmana ostaju demoni i mnogi drugi mitološki stvorovi.
Zanimljivo je kako se tvrdilo kako je ovaj strip, nastao 1988.godine, često proglašavan neprilagodljivim za tv ekrane.
