Ambasador Kijeva u Tel Avivu Jevgen Kornijčuk pozvao je Izrael da Ukrajini proda svoj sustav protuzračne obrane „Željezna kupola”. Nije baš najjasnije stoje li iza ovoga poziva stvarne ambicije ukrajinske vlade ili je posrijedi tek apel za pritisak na bliskoistočnu zemlju zbog njihova dosadašnjeg odbijanja vojne pomoći.

Obraćajući se novinarima u Tel Avivu, ukrajinski veleposlanik je kazao da Kijev uz Željeznu kupolu (Iron Dome) želi i odobrenje Izraela za premještanje njihovog protutenkovskog raketnog sistema Spike iz Njemačke u Ukrajinu, objavio je Jerusalem Post. Podsjetio je da je SAD svojedobno dao dozvolu za prebacivanje ovih raketa iz Njemačke u Ukrajinu, isto je prihvatio i Berlin, ali je Izrael to odbio.

“Treba nam vojno-tehnička podrška Izraela; potrebna nam je ‘Gvozdena kupola’ da spasimo naše žene i djecu od ruskih projektila na našoj teritoriji”, poručio je ukrajinski ambasador. Optužujući Izrael da oklijeva pružiti Kijevu bilo kakvu vojnu tehnologiju, Kornijčuk je rekao da sistem “Željezna kupola” nije nikakvo ofenzivno oružje, već sredstvo koje će spasiti živote. Spremni smo ga kupiti, ne tražimo ga besplatno, zaključio je ukrajinski veleposlanik.

Iznimno je mala šansa da će Izrael prihvatiti ikome prodati sustav 'Željezne kupole' te ga time izložiti inženjerskim raščlambama koje bi mu detektirale najslabije točke. 'Iron Dome' je doslovno najveća vojna inovacija u povijesti Izraela: riječ je o mobilnom sustavu protuzračne obrane za sve vremenske uvjete koji je dizajniran za presretanje i uništavanje raketa kratkog dometa i topničkih granata ispaljenih s vrlo malenih udaljenosti od 4 pa do čak 70 kilometara.

Tijekom deset godina razvoja Željezne kupole SAD su donirale za ovaj projekt preko 2, 5 milijarde dolara. Prva raketa koju je sustav presreo iz Gaze datira iz travnja 2011., a od tada do danas rušio je s uspjehom gotovo 90 posto svih Hamasovih raketa nad Tel Avivom, pružajući glavnom gradu Izraela gotovo hermetičku zaštitu od napada s neba.

Noćni rad Željezne kupole

U svibnju lanjske godine učinkovitost Željezne kupole je, međutim, po prvi put ozbiljno došla u pitanje: vojno krilo Hamasa u jednom je danu ispalilo više od 130 projektila na Tel Aviv i gustom vatrom uspjelo je probiti metaforičko željezo protuzračnog kišobrana. Mrtvi građani, srušene zgrade, zapaljeni naftovodi, zatvoren aerodrom Ben Gurion... svjedočili su o nesavršenosti sustava kojega Izrael stalno usavršava. 

Ukrajina ga danas želi najviše zato što unaprijed zna da ga ne može dobiti: riječ je, čini se, o diplomatskom pritisku na Izrael. Službeni Kijev u zemlji preživjelih iz holokausta vjerojatno želi probuditi empatiju za svoje žrtve i iz toga partnerstva i moralnoga kredita crpiti snagu za daljnji rat.

Ambasador Kijeva u Tel Avivu Jevgen Kornijčuk pozvao je Izrael da Ukrajini proda svoj sustav protuzračne obrane „Željezna kupola”. Nije baš najjasnije stoje li iza ovoga poziva stvarne ambicije ukrajinske vlade ili je posrijedi tek apel za pritisak na bliskoistočnu zemlju zbog njihova dosadašnjeg odbijanja vojne pomoći.

Obraćajući se novinarima u Tel Avivu, ukrajinski veleposlanik je kazao da Kijev uz Željeznu kupolu (Iron Dome) želi i odobrenje Izraela za premještanje njihovog protutenkovskog raketnog sistema Spike iz Njemačke u Ukrajinu, objavio je Jerusalem Post. Podsjetio je da je SAD svojedobno dao dozvolu za prebacivanje ovih raketa iz Njemačke u Ukrajinu, isto je prihvatio i Berlin, ali je Izrael to odbio.

“Treba nam vojno-tehnička podrška Izraela; potrebna nam je ‘Gvozdena kupola’ da spasimo naše žene i djecu od ruskih projektila na našoj teritoriji”, poručio je ukrajinski ambasador. Optužujući Izrael da oklijeva pružiti Kijevu bilo kakvu vojnu tehnologiju, Kornijčuk je rekao da sistem “Željezna kupola” nije nikakvo ofenzivno oružje, već sredstvo koje će spasiti živote. Spremni smo ga kupiti, ne tražimo ga besplatno, zaključio je ukrajinski veleposlanik.

Iznimno je mala šansa da će Izrael prihvatiti ikome prodati sustav 'Željezne kupole' te ga time izložiti inženjerskim raščlambama koje bi mu detektirale najslabije točke. 'Iron Dome' je doslovno najveća vojna inovacija u povijesti Izraela: riječ je o mobilnom sustavu protuzračne obrane za sve vremenske uvjete koji je dizajniran za presretanje i uništavanje raketa kratkog dometa i topničkih granata ispaljenih s vrlo malenih udaljenosti od 4 pa do čak 70 kilometara.

Tijekom deset godina razvoja Željezne kupole SAD su donirale za ovaj projekt preko 2, 5 milijarde dolara. Prva raketa koju je sustav presreo iz Gaze datira iz travnja 2011., a od tada do danas rušio je s uspjehom gotovo 90 posto svih Hamasovih raketa nad Tel Avivom, pružajući glavnom gradu Izraela gotovo hermetičku zaštitu od napada s neba.

U svibnju lanjske godine učinkovitost Željezne kupole je, međutim, po prvi put ozbiljno došla u pitanje: vojno krilo Hamasa u jednom je danu ispalilo više od 130 projektila na Tel Aviv i gustom vatrom uspjelo je probiti metaforičko željezo protuzračnog kišobrana. Mrtvi građani, srušene zgrade, zapaljeni naftovodi, zatvoren aerodrom Ben Gurion... svjedočili su o nesavršenosti sustava kojega Izrael stalno usavršava. 

Ukrajina ga danas želi najviše zato što unaprijed zna da ga ne može dobiti: riječ je, čini se, o diplomatskom pritisku na Izrael. Službeni Kijev u zemlji preživjelih iz holokausta vjerojatno želi probuditi empatiju za svoje žrtve i iz toga partnerstva i moralnoga kredita crpiti snagu za daljnji rat.
