Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu u subotu je odbacio ideju o održavanju prijevremenih izbora, dok su se tisuće Izraelaca okupile u Tel Avivu na protuvladinom prosvjedu.

Netanyahu je zabilježio pad popularnosti u anketama nakon Hamasovog napada 7. listopada koji je izazvao razorni rat u Gazi.

Protuvladini prosvjedi koji su potresali zemlju većim dijelom 2023. uglavnom su utihnuli tijekom rata.

Ipak, prosvjednici su u subotu navečer ponovno izašli na ulice Tel Aviva pozivajući na nove izbore budući da se oni ne bi trebali održati prije 2026.

Mnoštvo je bilo puno manje nego na prošlogodišnjim masovnim prosvjedima, a lokalni mediji pišu da se okupilo nekoliko tisuća ljudi.

"Vladi bih poručio: imali ste vremena, upropastili ste sve što možete upropastiti. Sad je vrijeme da narod ispravi sve stvari, sve loše stvari koje ste napravili", rekao je jedan prosvjednik, glave omotane izraelskom zastavom.

Netanyahu je na brifingu za novinare upitan o pozivima unutar njegove vlastite vladajuće stranke Likud da se održe prijevremeni izbori čim završi rat u Gazi.

"Zadnje što nam sad treba su izbori i bavljenje izborima jer će nas to odmah podijeliti. Trenutno nam treba jedinstvo", rekao je.

Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu u subotu je odbacio ideju o održavanju prijevremenih izbora, dok su se tisuće Izraelaca okupile u Tel Avivu na protuvladinom prosvjedu.

Netanyahu je zabilježio pad popularnosti u anketama nakon Hamasovog napada 7. listopada koji je izazvao razorni rat u Gazi.

Protuvladini prosvjedi koji su potresali zemlju većim dijelom 2023. uglavnom su utihnuli tijekom rata.

Ipak, prosvjednici su u subotu navečer ponovno izašli na ulice Tel Aviva pozivajući na nove izbore budući da se oni ne bi trebali održati prije 2026.

Mnoštvo je bilo puno manje nego na prošlogodišnjim masovnim prosvjedima, a lokalni mediji pišu da se okupilo nekoliko tisuća ljudi.

"Vladi bih poručio: imali ste vremena, upropastili ste sve što možete upropastiti. Sad je vrijeme da narod ispravi sve stvari, sve loše stvari koje ste napravili", rekao je jedan prosvjednik, glave omotane izraelskom zastavom.

Netanyahu je na brifingu za novinare upitan o pozivima unutar njegove vlastite vladajuće stranke Likud da se održe prijevremeni izbori čim završi rat u Gazi.

"Zadnje što nam sad treba su izbori i bavljenje izborima jer će nas to odmah podijeliti. Trenutno nam treba jedinstvo", rekao je.
