Šest osoba, među kojima je i dvoje djece, poginulo je u tornadu u blizini Des Moinesa u Iowi, izvještava CNN, a prenosi Index.

Četiri osobe su hospitalizirane, jedna se bori za život, a tri su u teškom stanju.

Dvoje djece koja su poginula bila su mlađa od pet godina, rekli su lokalni dužnosnici iz okruga Madison koji je pogođen tornadom.

"Mislim da je ovo najgore što smo vidjeli u dugo vremena", dodali su.

Tornado je bio jačine EF3 s vjetrovima od najmanje 220 km na sat.

Procijenjeno je da je ozbiljna šteta nastala na više od dvadesetak kuća.

Guvernerka Iowe Kim Reynolds proglasila je stanje katastrofe za okrug Madison, rekavši da se ona i njezin suprug mole za preminule i ozlijeđene u tornadu.

"Srce nas boli tijekom ovog vremena, ali znam da će se građani okupiti da pomognu u ovom trenutku, i već jesu", poručila je.

Šest osoba, među kojima je i dvoje djece, poginulo je u tornadu u blizini Des Moinesa u Iowi, izvještava CNN, a prenosi Index.

Četiri osobe su hospitalizirane, jedna se bori za život, a tri su u teškom stanju.

Dvoje djece koja su poginula bila su mlađa od pet godina, rekli su lokalni dužnosnici iz okruga Madison koji je pogođen tornadom.

"Mislim da je ovo najgore što smo vidjeli u dugo vremena", dodali su.

Tornado je bio jačine EF3 s vjetrovima od najmanje 220 km na sat.

Procijenjeno je da je ozbiljna šteta nastala na više od dvadesetak kuća.

Guvernerka Iowe Kim Reynolds proglasila je stanje katastrofe za okrug Madison, rekavši da se ona i njezin suprug mole za preminule i ozlijeđene u tornadu.

"Srce nas boli tijekom ovog vremena, ali znam da će se građani okupiti da pomognu u ovom trenutku, i već jesu", poručila je.

Šest osoba, među kojima je i dvoje djece, poginulo je u tornadu u blizini Des Moinesa u Iowi, izvještava CNN, a prenosi Index.

Četiri osobe su hospitalizirane, jedna se bori za život, a tri su u teškom stanju.

Dvoje djece koja su poginula bila su mlađa od pet godina, rekli su lokalni dužnosnici iz okruga Madison koji je pogođen tornadom.

"Mislim da je ovo najgore što smo vidjeli u dugo vremena", dodali su.

Tornado je bio jačine EF3 s vjetrovima od najmanje 220 km na sat.

Procijenjeno je da je ozbiljna šteta nastala na više od dvadesetak kuća.

Guvernerka Iowe Kim Reynolds proglasila je stanje katastrofe za okrug Madison, rekavši da se ona i njezin suprug mole za preminule i ozlijeđene u tornadu.
