Novi putnički zrakoplov Boeing 787 Dreamliner u utorak je izveo svoj prvi probni
let, poletjevši iz Everetta u američkoj saveznoj državi Washingoton gdje je sjedište Boeinga, nakon više od dvije i pol godine kašnjenja u proizvodnji.

Prvo polijetanje novog zrakoplova pratilo je nekoliko tisuća tisuća gledatelja kraj uzletišta u Everettu, gdje je zrakoplov sastavljan, a prenosile su ga uživo američke TV mreže.

Prvi let trebao bi trajati pet sati uz niz testova, nakon čega je predviđeno slijetanje na 65 km udaljeno uzletište Boeing Field, južno od Seattlea.

- Probni let će u određenoj će mjeri poslužiti vrednovanju zrakoplova, no pred nama je još 10 mjeseci probnih letova...još je puno posla - izjavio je Jim Albaugh, glavni izvršni direktor Boeinga.

Unatoč odgodama, u tvrtki Boeing smatraju da će njihov prvi novi komercijalni zrakoplov u više od desetljeća, zbog svoje ekonomičnosti i revolucionarnog dizajna, donijeti velike promjene na tržištu.

- Mislimo da će to biti vrlo učinkovit zrakoplov, koji će promijeniti način na koji ljudi putuju. On predstavlja prekretnicu, jer pruža toliko vrijednosti kupcu -istakao je Albaugh.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner, koji je uglavnom izrađen od kompozitnih materijala, odnosno plastike a ne aluminija, lakši je i brži od konkurentskih modela i trebao bi trošiti 20 posto manje goriva.

- On je bolji za okoliš, učinkovitiji, troši manje goriva, zračnim prijevoznicima smanjit će troškove a putnicima će omogućiti da lete jeftinije i bolje se osjećaju kada slete - rekao je Albaugh.

Boeing očekuje da će materijali od kojih je sagrađen Dreamliner bolje podnositi naprezanja i zamor od tradicionalnog aluminija. Tvrtka je objavila da već ima narudžbe za 850 zrakoplova, čija je cijena službeno oko 150 milijuna dolara.

Zavisno od konfiguracije, Dreamliner može imati 210 do 330 sjedala i dolet do 13,680 kilometara.

Ciljano tržište su aviokompanije koje lete na interkontinentalnim linijama bez presjedanja.

Iako 787 neće ponijeti prve putnike do najranije 2011. godine, čelnici Boeinga se nadaju da će uspješan prvi let otkloniti dvojbe oko budućnosti njegove proizvodnje.

Novi putnički zrakoplov Boeing 787 Dreamliner u utorak je izveo svoj prvi probni
let, poletjevši iz Everetta u američkoj saveznoj državi Washingoton gdje je sjedište Boeinga, nakon više od dvije i pol godine kašnjenja u proizvodnji.

Prvo polijetanje novog zrakoplova pratilo je nekoliko tisuća tisuća gledatelja kraj uzletišta u Everettu, gdje je zrakoplov sastavljan, a prenosile su ga uživo američke TV mreže.

Prvi let trebao bi trajati pet sati uz niz testova, nakon čega je predviđeno slijetanje na 65 km udaljeno uzletište Boeing Field, južno od Seattlea.

- Probni let će u određenoj će mjeri poslužiti vrednovanju zrakoplova, no pred nama je još 10 mjeseci probnih letova...još je puno posla - izjavio je Jim Albaugh, glavni izvršni direktor Boeinga.

Unatoč odgodama, u tvrtki Boeing smatraju da će njihov prvi novi komercijalni zrakoplov u više od desetljeća, zbog svoje ekonomičnosti i revolucionarnog dizajna, donijeti velike promjene na tržištu.

- Mislimo da će to biti vrlo učinkovit zrakoplov, koji će promijeniti način na koji ljudi putuju. On predstavlja prekretnicu, jer pruža toliko vrijednosti kupcu -istakao je Albaugh.

Boeing 787 Dreamliner, koji je uglavnom izrađen od kompozitnih materijala, odnosno plastike a ne aluminija, lakši je i brži od konkurentskih modela i trebao bi trošiti 20 posto manje goriva.

- On je bolji za okoliš, učinkovitiji, troši manje goriva, zračnim prijevoznicima smanjit će troškove a putnicima će omogućiti da lete jeftinije i bolje se osjećaju kada slete - rekao je Albaugh.

Boeing očekuje da će materijali od kojih je sagrađen Dreamliner bolje podnositi naprezanja i zamor od tradicionalnog aluminija. Tvrtka je objavila da već ima narudžbe za 850 zrakoplova, čija je cijena službeno oko 150 milijuna dolara.

Zavisno od konfiguracije, Dreamliner može imati 210 do 330 sjedala i dolet do 13,680 kilometara.

Ciljano tržište su aviokompanije koje lete na interkontinentalnim linijama bez presjedanja.

Iako 787 neće ponijeti prve putnike do najranije 2011. godine, čelnici Boeinga se nadaju da će uspješan prvi let otkloniti dvojbe oko budućnosti njegove proizvodnje.
