Francuska vlada u srijedu je suočena s otporom desetaka tisuća zdravstvenih radnika koji se protive novoj mjeri o obaveznom cijepljenju.
Bolničko osoblje, vozači hitnih pomoći, zaposlenici domova za stare i nemoćne, privatni liječnici, vatrogasci i oni koji se brinu za najstarije u svojim domovima - ukupno 2,7 milijuna ljudi - moraju imati potvrdu da su primili barem jednu dozu cjepiva. U suprotnom im prijeti suspenzija bez plaće.
Predsjednik Emmanuel Macron taj je ultimatum donio prije dva mjeseca, no deseci tisuća njegovatelja i dalje nisu cijepljeni.
Jedan od najvećih francuskih sindikata javnog sektora, tvrdolinijaški CGT, upozorio je na „zdravstvenu katastrofu“ u slučaju da vlada suspendira velik broj zdravstvenih radnika i privatnih liječnika.
Zaposlenici u zdravstvu koji se protive mjeri pridružili su se protivnicima „zdravstvenih propusnica“ za ulazak u restorane, kafiće i muzeje koji svaki tjedan prosvjeduju na ulicama Francuske već dva mjeseca.
U utorak je nekoliko stotina ljudi bilo na prosvjedima pred ministarstvom zdravstva u Parizu, prenosi agencija France Presse.
„Bili mi cijepljeni ili ne, protivimo se da to postane obavezno“, kazala je 57-godišnja medicinska sestra Valerie.
Otkazane operacije
Televizija BFM u utorak je prenijela da je bolnica u južnom gradu Montelimaru počela otkazivati desetke operacija zakazanih za idući tjedan jer nema dovoljno cijepljenih anesteziologa.
Procjene državne zdravstvene agencije za javno zdravstvo pokazuju da nije cijepljeno oko 12 posto bolničkog osoblja i šest posto privatnih liječnika.
Amel Benothman, 41-godišnji medicinski tehničar zaposlen u psihijatrijskoj klinici u sjevernom gradu Lilleu rekao je da je „prezabrinut“ oko nuspojava cjepiva da bi ga primio, čak i ako bi to značilo da će izgubiti posao.
„Već sam imao blagi oblik covida-19 i smatram da su rizici veći od dobrobiti“, kazao je u subotu tijekom prosvjeda.
Francuska nije prva zemlja koja je poduzela korake za obaveznim cijepljenjem onih koji rade s rizičnim skupinama.
Američki predsjednik Joe Biden prošli je tjedan uveo obavezu cijepljenja za milijune federalnih zaposlenika, kao i za tvrtke s više od 100 zaposlenih.
Italija je krajem svibnja donijela mjeru obaveznog cijepljenja zdravstvenih radnika, a u listopadu će to proširiti na zaposlenike domova za starije i nemoćne. Grčka je to već uvela za obje kategorije.
Usprkos pozivima francuskih sindikata vladi da bude popustljivija, ona ne odustaje od mjere.
„Nećemo popustiti“, izravno je rekao francuski premijer Jean Castex prošli mjesec.

Francuska vlada u srijedu je suočena s otporom desetaka tisuća zdravstvenih radnika koji se protive novoj mjeri o obaveznom cijepljenju.
Bolničko osoblje, vozači hitnih pomoći, zaposlenici domova za stare i nemoćne, privatni liječnici, vatrogasci i oni koji se brinu za najstarije u svojim domovima - ukupno 2,7 milijuna ljudi - moraju imati potvrdu da su primili barem jednu dozu cjepiva. U suprotnom im prijeti suspenzija bez plaće.
Predsjednik Emmanuel Macron taj je ultimatum donio prije dva mjeseca, no deseci tisuća njegovatelja i dalje nisu cijepljeni.
Jedan od najvećih francuskih sindikata javnog sektora, tvrdolinijaški CGT, upozorio je na „zdravstvenu katastrofu“ u slučaju da vlada suspendira velik broj zdravstvenih radnika i privatnih liječnika.
Zaposlenici u zdravstvu koji se protive mjeri pridružili su se protivnicima „zdravstvenih propusnica“ za ulazak u restorane, kafiće i muzeje koji svaki tjedan prosvjeduju na ulicama Francuske već dva mjeseca.
U utorak je nekoliko stotina ljudi bilo na prosvjedima pred ministarstvom zdravstva u Parizu, prenosi agencija France Presse.
„Bili mi cijepljeni ili ne, protivimo se da to postane obavezno“, kazala je 57-godišnja medicinska sestra Valerie.
Otkazane operacije
Televizija BFM u utorak je prenijela da je bolnica u južnom gradu Montelimaru počela otkazivati desetke operacija zakazanih za idući tjedan jer nema dovoljno cijepljenih anesteziologa.
Procjene državne zdravstvene agencije za javno zdravstvo pokazuju da nije cijepljeno oko 12 posto bolničkog osoblja i šest posto privatnih liječnika.
Amel Benothman, 41-godišnji medicinski tehničar zaposlen u psihijatrijskoj klinici u sjevernom gradu Lilleu rekao je da je „prezabrinut“ oko nuspojava cjepiva da bi ga primio, čak i ako bi to značilo da će izgubiti posao.
„Već sam imao blagi oblik covida-19 i smatram da su rizici veći od dobrobiti“, kazao je u subotu tijekom prosvjeda.
Francuska nije prva zemlja koja je poduzela korake za obaveznim cijepljenjem onih koji rade s rizičnim skupinama.
Američki predsjednik Joe Biden prošli je tjedan uveo obavezu cijepljenja za milijune federalnih zaposlenika, kao i za tvrtke s više od 100 zaposlenih.
Italija je krajem svibnja donijela mjeru obaveznog cijepljenja zdravstvenih radnika, a u listopadu će to proširiti na zaposlenike domova za starije i nemoćne. Grčka je to već uvela za obje kategorije.
Usprkos pozivima francuskih sindikata vladi da bude popustljivija, ona ne odustaje od mjere.
„Nećemo popustiti“, izravno je rekao francuski premijer Jean Castex prošli mjesec.
