Kineske vlasti trenutno istražuju bolnicu nakon incidenta u kojem je kirurg navodno fizički napao pacijenta tijekom kirurškog zahvata. Incident, zabilježen u viralnom videu koji kruži kineskim društvenim medijima, izazvao je bijes javnosti.

Matična grupa bolnice, Aier China, poduzela je brzu akciju suspendiranjem optuženog kirurga i otpuštanjem izvršnog direktora bolnice u kojoj se incident dogodio 2019. godine.

Video snimka prikazuje kirurga kako više puta udara pacijentovu glavu dok izvodi operaciju oka. Aier China, lanac oftalmoloških klinika, pojasnio je da se događaj dogodio tijekom operacije u njihovoj bolnici u Guigangu u jugozapadnoj Kini. Pacijentica, 82-godišnja žena, navodno je pokazala intoleranciju zbog lokalne anestezije, pomicala je glavu i očne jabučice tijekom operacije, piše Jutarnji list.

Budući da je pacijentica govorila samo lokalnim dijalektom i nije se činilo da reagira na mandarinska upozorenja, kirurg je navodno grubo postupio u situaciji u hitnom slučaju. Lokalne vlasti izvješćuju da je pacijentica zadobila modrice na čelu.

Nakon operacije, bolnica se ispričala i nadoknadila pacijentičinoj obitelji 500 juana (64 eura). Sin pacijentice, govoreći za lokalne medije, spomenuo je da je njegova majka sada slijepa na lijevo oko, iako ostaje nejasno je li to posljedica incidenta.

Aier China priznao je da bolnica nije prijavila incident središnjici i, kao odgovor, najavio otpuštanje izvršnog direktora bolnice Guiyang. Kirurg, ujedno i dekan bolnice, suspendiran je zbog onoga što Aier China opisuje kao "ozbiljna kršenja propisa grupe", uključujući neodređene prekršaje.

Unatoč incidentu koji se dogodio u prosincu 2019., pozornost javnosti je slučaj privukao tek ovaj tjedan nakon što je istaknuta kineska liječnica Ai Fen podijelila snimke operacije s nadzorne kamere na svom Weibo računu gdje je prati više od 2 milijuna korisnika. Ai je poznata po tome što je bila dio grupe liječnika koji su upozorili javnost na početnu epidemiju Covida-19 u Wuhanu. U to vrijeme vodila je odjel za hitne slučajeve u centralnoj bolnici Wuhana. Trenutno je u pravnim sporovima s tvrtkom Aier China od 2021., jer tvrdi da je gotovo izgubila vid na jednom oku zbog operacije u jednoj od njihovih bolnica. U jednom je videu rekla da je ponovno testirala vid dva mjeseca nakon operacije koju je platila 29,000 juana (oko 4,000 eura) te joj je vidna oštrina desnog oka pala na šokantno niskih 0,1 što je ocjena koju Međunarodno vijeće za oftalmologiju klasificira kao ‘‘teški gubitak vida‘‘. Aier China je odbacio ove optužbe.

Kineske vlasti trenutno istražuju bolnicu nakon incidenta u kojem je kirurg navodno fizički napao pacijenta tijekom kirurškog zahvata. Incident, zabilježen u viralnom videu koji kruži kineskim društvenim medijima, izazvao je bijes javnosti.

Matična grupa bolnice, Aier China, poduzela je brzu akciju suspendiranjem optuženog kirurga i otpuštanjem izvršnog direktora bolnice u kojoj se incident dogodio 2019. godine.

Video snimka prikazuje kirurga kako više puta udara pacijentovu glavu dok izvodi operaciju oka. Aier China, lanac oftalmoloških klinika, pojasnio je da se događaj dogodio tijekom operacije u njihovoj bolnici u Guigangu u jugozapadnoj Kini. Pacijentica, 82-godišnja žena, navodno je pokazala intoleranciju zbog lokalne anestezije, pomicala je glavu i očne jabučice tijekom operacije, piše Jutarnji list.

Budući da je pacijentica govorila samo lokalnim dijalektom i nije se činilo da reagira na mandarinska upozorenja, kirurg je navodno grubo postupio u situaciji u hitnom slučaju. Lokalne vlasti izvješćuju da je pacijentica zadobila modrice na čelu.

Nakon operacije, bolnica se ispričala i nadoknadila pacijentičinoj obitelji 500 juana (64 eura). Sin pacijentice, govoreći za lokalne medije, spomenuo je da je njegova majka sada slijepa na lijevo oko, iako ostaje nejasno je li to posljedica incidenta.

Aier China priznao je da bolnica nije prijavila incident središnjici i, kao odgovor, najavio otpuštanje izvršnog direktora bolnice Guiyang. Kirurg, ujedno i dekan bolnice, suspendiran je zbog onoga što Aier China opisuje kao "ozbiljna kršenja propisa grupe", uključujući neodređene prekršaje.

Unatoč incidentu koji se dogodio u prosincu 2019., pozornost javnosti je slučaj privukao tek ovaj tjedan nakon što je istaknuta kineska liječnica Ai Fen podijelila snimke operacije s nadzorne kamere na svom Weibo računu gdje je prati više od 2 milijuna korisnika. Ai je poznata po tome što je bila dio grupe liječnika koji su upozorili javnost na početnu epidemiju Covida-19 u Wuhanu. U to vrijeme vodila je odjel za hitne slučajeve u centralnoj bolnici Wuhana. Trenutno je u pravnim sporovima s tvrtkom Aier China od 2021., jer tvrdi da je gotovo izgubila vid na jednom oku zbog operacije u jednoj od njihovih bolnica. U jednom je videu rekla da je ponovno testirala vid dva mjeseca nakon operacije koju je platila 29,000 juana (oko 4,000 eura) te joj je vidna oštrina desnog oka pala na šokantno niskih 0,1 što je ocjena koju Međunarodno vijeće za oftalmologiju klasificira kao ‘‘teški gubitak vida‘‘. Aier China je odbacio ove optužbe.
