Nasljednik danskog prijestolja povukao je svog sina iz elitne privatne škole nakon što je emitiran dokumentarni film u kojem su bivši učenici svjedočili o fizičkom zlostavljanju i seksualnom uznemiravanju unutar ustanove, piše The Times.

Herlufsholm, elitna privatna škola, 60-ak kilometara jugozapadno od Kopenhagena, obrazuje pripadnike najviše danske klase od 16. stoljeća. No, posljednji skandali možda su i nepopravljivo narušili njezin ugled, prenosi Jutarnji.

Oko 50 bivših učenika, poznatih kao Old Herlovians, u televizijskom izlaganju svjedočilo je o kulturi nasilnih rituala i žestokih premlaćivanja koji su izazvali bijes građana. Odnosi učenika u školi koja je do nedavno bila ponos nacije, sada se uspoređuju s onim iz romana "Gospodar Muha" po kojem je snimljen i istoimeni film.

Stariji učenici tako su navodno svoje mlađe kolege svakodnevno budili usred noći i zatim ih tukli i maltretirali. Jednog od njih toliko su ozlijedili da nije mogao ni dopuzati natrag do kreveta. Jedan bivši učenik priznao je pak kako je vidio nasilnika da seksualno zlostavlja svoju žrtvu pred desetak drugih dječaka.

Dokumentarac, Herlufsholms Hemmeligheder (Herlufsholmove tajne), doveo je do znatnih reperkusija otkako je prošlog mjeseca emitiran na državnom kanalu TV2.

Mette Frederiksen, danska premijerka, izjavila je da su incidenti neoprostivi i kako je ostala duboko dirnuta gledajući emisiju. Ravnatelj škole Mikkel Kjellberg smijenjen je dva dana nakon emitiranja, a njegov privremeni nasljednik uputio je "bezrezervnu" ispriku.

No, gubitak naklonosti danske kraljevske obitelji mogao bi biti najozbiljniji udarac do sada. U nedjelju je prestolonasljednik Frederik rekao da povlači svog sina princa Christiana (16) iz škole nakon što je Herlufsholm osudio i nacionalno regulatorno tijelo za obrazovanje, što je dovelo i do ostavke cijelog odbora guvernera.

Njegova kći, princeza Isabella (15), trebala je u školu krenuti na jesen, ali sada će edukaciju nastaviti negdje drugdje.

Par je u početku rekao da se njihova djeca raduju novoj školskoj godini, no pod velikim pritiskom javnosti da povuku Christiana iz Herlufsholma, to su naposljetku i učinili.

Nakon preliminarnog izvješća nacionalnog nadzornog tijela škola koje je otkrilo da su Herlufsholmova pravila i tradicije rezultirali ukorijenjenim hijerarhijama koje su neke učenike učinile privilegiranima, dok su druge izopćile, više nisu imali izbora.

Frederik i njegova supruga kazali su da "poseban položaj" koji im je dodijelio njihov kraljevski status znači i da moraju voditi primjerom.

No, ne misle svi da kultura zlostavljanja, prikazana u dokumentarcu, zaista postoji.

Kristian von Hornsleth, pedesetogodišnji, provokativni suvremeni umjetnik, koji je pohađao školu 1980-ih, otišao je toliko daleko da je ustvrdio kako je siguran da su producenti dokumentarca podmitili Old Herlovianse da okaljaju ime škole.

Redatelj dokumentarca Lasse Bjerre rekao je da su tvrdnje Von Hornsletha "potpuno neutemeljene" i da njegov tim kategorički ostaje pri onome što je i na koji način u filmu prikazano.

Nasljednik danskog prijestolja povukao je svog sina iz elitne privatne škole nakon što je emitiran dokumentarni film u kojem su bivši učenici svjedočili o fizičkom zlostavljanju i seksualnom uznemiravanju unutar ustanove, piše The Times.

Herlufsholm, elitna privatna škola, 60-ak kilometara jugozapadno od Kopenhagena, obrazuje pripadnike najviše danske klase od 16. stoljeća. No, posljednji skandali možda su i nepopravljivo narušili njezin ugled, prenosi Jutarnji.

Oko 50 bivših učenika, poznatih kao Old Herlovians, u televizijskom izlaganju svjedočilo je o kulturi nasilnih rituala i žestokih premlaćivanja koji su izazvali bijes građana. Odnosi učenika u školi koja je do nedavno bila ponos nacije, sada se uspoređuju s onim iz romana "Gospodar Muha" po kojem je snimljen i istoimeni film.

Stariji učenici tako su navodno svoje mlađe kolege svakodnevno budili usred noći i zatim ih tukli i maltretirali. Jednog od njih toliko su ozlijedili da nije mogao ni dopuzati natrag do kreveta. Jedan bivši učenik priznao je pak kako je vidio nasilnika da seksualno zlostavlja svoju žrtvu pred desetak drugih dječaka.

Dokumentarac, Herlufsholms Hemmeligheder (Herlufsholmove tajne), doveo je do znatnih reperkusija otkako je prošlog mjeseca emitiran na državnom kanalu TV2.

Mette Frederiksen, danska premijerka, izjavila je da su incidenti neoprostivi i kako je ostala duboko dirnuta gledajući emisiju. Ravnatelj škole Mikkel Kjellberg smijenjen je dva dana nakon emitiranja, a njegov privremeni nasljednik uputio je "bezrezervnu" ispriku.

No, gubitak naklonosti danske kraljevske obitelji mogao bi biti najozbiljniji udarac do sada. U nedjelju je prestolonasljednik Frederik rekao da povlači svog sina princa Christiana (16) iz škole nakon što je Herlufsholm osudio i nacionalno regulatorno tijelo za obrazovanje, što je dovelo i do ostavke cijelog odbora guvernera.

Njegova kći, princeza Isabella (15), trebala je u školu krenuti na jesen, ali sada će edukaciju nastaviti negdje drugdje.

- Duboko smo potreseni izvješćima koja su nedavno izašla o Herlufsholmu, izjavili su prijestolonasljednik Frederik i njegova supruga, princeza Mary.

Par je u početku rekao da se njihova djeca raduju novoj školskoj godini, no pod velikim pritiskom javnosti da povuku Christiana iz Herlufsholma, to su naposljetku i učinili.

Nakon preliminarnog izvješća nacionalnog nadzornog tijela škola koje je otkrilo da su Herlufsholmova pravila i tradicije rezultirali ukorijenjenim hijerarhijama koje su neke učenike učinile privilegiranima, dok su druge izopćile, više nisu imali izbora.

Frederik i njegova supruga kazali su da "poseban položaj" koji im je dodijelio njihov kraljevski status znači i da moraju voditi primjerom.

No, ne misle svi da kultura zlostavljanja, prikazana u dokumentarcu, zaista postoji.

Kristian von Hornsleth, pedesetogodišnji, provokativni suvremeni umjetnik, koji je pohađao školu 1980-ih, otišao je toliko daleko da je ustvrdio kako je siguran da su producenti dokumentarca podmitili Old Herlovianse da okaljaju ime škole.

Redatelj dokumentarca Lasse Bjerre rekao je da su tvrdnje Von Hornsletha "potpuno neutemeljene" i da njegov tim kategorički ostaje pri onome što je i na koji način u filmu prikazano.

Nasljednik danskog prijestolja povukao je svog sina iz elitne privatne škole nakon što je emitiran dokumentarni film u kojem su bivši učenici svjedočili o fizičkom zlostavljanju i seksualnom uznemiravanju unutar ustanove, piše The Times.

Herlufsholm, elitna privatna škola, 60-ak kilometara jugozapadno od Kopenhagena, obrazuje pripadnike najviše danske klase od 16. stoljeća. No, posljednji skandali možda su i nepopravljivo narušili njezin ugled, prenosi Jutarnji.

Oko 50 bivših učenika, poznatih kao Old Herlovians, u televizijskom izlaganju svjedočilo je o kulturi nasilnih rituala i žestokih premlaćivanja koji su izazvali bijes građana. Odnosi učenika u školi koja je do nedavno bila ponos nacije, sada se uspoređuju s onim iz romana "Gospodar Muha" po kojem je snimljen i istoime...
