Od 7. listopada u izraelskim bombardiranjima u Pojasu Gaze poginulo je 11.180 ljudi, većinom civila, među kojima 4.609 djece. Međunarodne humanitarne organizacije uporno pozivaju na primirje, pošto Palestincima očajnički nedostaju pitka voda i lijekovi, a humanitarna pomoć stiže na kapaljku.

Izraelski ministar vanjskih poslova je dana priznao da se zbog navedenog stanja pojačava međunarodni pritisak na njegovu zemlju u vezi s vojnim operacijama u pojasu Gaze te da im Jeruzalem nastojati produljiti "legitimnost".

"Imamo dva do tri tjedna prije nego se međunarodni pritisak ozbiljno pojača, ali ministarstvo vanjskih poslova nastoji proširiti okvir legitimnosti i borbe će se nastaviti koliko god bude trebalo", rekao je ministar vanjskih poslova Eli Cohen.

Upravo u tu svrhu, proizraelski američki oligarsi su se odlučili ujediniti kako bi poboljšali imidž Izraela, dodatno demonizirajući Hamas i globalne propalestinske prosvjede solidarnosti.

Naime, američki milijarder Barry Sternlich je organizirao medijsku kampanju "Facts for Peace" kojom će prikupljati milijunske donacije od najbogatijih ljudi u medijskoj industiji, tehnoloških divova i bankara. Pritom se spominju bivši izvršni direktor Googlea Eric Schmidt, izvršni direktor Della Michael Dell i financijer Michael Milken. Njihova ukupna neto vrijednost iznosi oko 500 milijardi dolara.

Neki od ovih pojedinaca, poput investitora Billa Ackmana, već su javno prijetili studenatima američkih prestižnih koledža koji su kritični prema Izraelu da će biti stavljeni na crnu listu.

Pokretač Sternlicht objašnjava da će kampanja pomoći Izraelu da "pretekne narativ" o zbivanjima u Gazi.

“Javno mnijenje će se sigurno promijeniti jer će prizori, stvarni ili izmišljeni od strane Hamasa, civilne palestinske patnje sigurno narušiti trenutnu empatiju (Izraelu) u svjetskoj zajednici”, napisao je Sternlicht u e-poruci u kojoj je tražio novčane doprinose od bogataša. "Moramo ići ispred narativa."

Sternlichtova medijska akcija ima za cilj označiti Hamas kao "terorističku organizaciju" koja "nije samo neprijatelj Izraela, već i Sjedinjenih Država", napisao je. Cilj je privući 50 milijuna dolara privatnih donacija, zajedno s odgovarajućim doprinosom židovske dobrotvorne organizacije.

Hamas je već označen kao "teroristička" organizacija od strane SAD-a i Europske unije zbog njegovog oružanog otpora protiv izraelske okupacije.

Kampanja je, prema portalu Semafor, već prikupila najmanje nekoliko milijuna dolara.

Dodad su divovi društvenih medija kao što su Instagram, X, YouTube i TikTok optuženi za cenzuriranje propalestinskih glasova smanjivanjem njihovog dosega, što je praksa poznata kao shadowbanning.

Axios je prošlog mjeseca izvijestio da su propalestinske objave na TikToku četiri puta više pregledane od proizraelskih. Ovo se događa u okruženju kada ljudi diljem svijeta s užasom gledaju sve veći broj žrtava u Gazi, gdje su većina ubijenih civili.

Facts For Peace ima za cilj ponovno pridobiti naklonost javnosti za Izrael, objavljujući videozapise na društvenim mrežama u kojima se okrivljuje Hamas za stradanje Palestinaca i poriču se tvrdnje o izraelskom kršenju prava. Njihov najnoviji video objavljen na Facebook stranici tvrdi da "Izrael nije država aparthejda".

To je u suprotnosti s nalazima palestinskih, izraelskih i međunarodnih stručnjaka za ljudska prava, uključujući i one iz Ujedinjenih naroda, koji tvrde da Izrael prakticira apartheid kroz svoj "duboko diskriminirajući dvojni pravni i politički sustav" na okupiranim područjima.

Izrael je okupirao Zapadnu obalu, istočni Jeruzalem i Gazu u ratu 1967., a kasnije je anektirao istočni Jeruzalem. Povukao je svoje snage iz Gaze 2005. godine, ali i dalje drži opsadu na teritoriju od 2,3 milijuna ljudi.

Izraelci su nastavili širiti naselja na okupiranoj Zapadnoj obali i istočnom Jeruzalemu, što se prema međunarodnom pravu smatra nezakonitim.

Ova naselja predstavljaju najveću prepreku u ostvarenju neovisne i suverene palestinske države, kažu stručnjaci. SAD je osudio širenje naselja, ali je učinio malo da zaustavi svog najbližeg saveznika.

Od 7. listopada u izraelskim bombardiranjima u Pojasu Gaze poginulo je 11.180 ljudi, većinom civila, među kojima 4.609 djece. Međunarodne humanitarne organizacije uporno pozivaju na primirje, pošto Palestincima očajnički nedostaju pitka voda i lijekovi, a humanitarna pomoć stiže na kapaljku.

Izraelski ministar vanjskih poslova je dana priznao da se zbog navedenog stanja pojačava međunarodni pritisak na njegovu zemlju u vezi s vojnim operacijama u pojasu Gaze te da im Jeruzalem nastojati produljiti "legitimnost".

"Imamo dva do tri tjedna prije nego se međunarodni pritisak ozbiljno pojača, ali ministarstvo vanjskih poslova nastoji proširiti okvir legitimnosti i borbe će se nastaviti koliko god bude trebalo", rekao je ministar vanjskih poslova Eli Cohen.

Upravo u tu svrhu, proizraelski američki oligarsi su se odlučili ujediniti kako bi poboljšali imidž Izraela, dodatno demonizirajući Hamas i globalne propalestinske prosvjede solidarnosti.

Naime, američki milijarder Barry Sternlich je organizirao medijsku kampanju "Facts for Peace" kojom će prikupljati milijunske donacije od najbogatijih ljudi u medijskoj industiji, tehnoloških divova i bankara. Pritom se spominju bivši izvršni direktor Googlea Eric Schmidt, izvršni direktor Della Michael Dell i financijer Michael Milken. Njihova ukupna neto vrijednost iznosi oko 500 milijardi dolara.

Neki od ovih pojedinaca, poput investitora Billa Ackmana, već su javno prijetili studenatima američkih prestižnih koledža koji su kritični prema Izraelu da će biti stavljeni na crnu listu.

Pokretač Sternlicht objašnjava da će kampanja pomoći Izraelu da "pretekne narativ" o zbivanjima u Gazi.

“Javno mnijenje će se sigurno promijeniti jer će prizori, stvarni ili izmišljeni od strane Hamasa, civilne palestinske patnje sigurno narušiti trenutnu empatiju (Izraelu) u svjetskoj zajednici”, napisao je Sternlicht u e-poruci u kojoj je tražio novčane doprinose od bogataša. "Moramo ići ispred narativa."

Sternlichtova medijska akcija ima za cilj označiti Hamas kao "terorističku organizaciju" koja "nije samo neprijatelj Izraela, već i Sjedinjenih Država", napisao je. Cilj je privući 50 milijuna dolara privatnih donacija, zajedno s odgovarajućim doprinosom židovske dobrotvorne organizacije.

Hamas je već označen kao "teroristička" organizacija od strane SAD-a i Europske unije zbog njegovog oružanog otpora protiv izraelske okupacije.

Kampanja je, prema portalu Semafor, već prikupila najmanje nekoliko milijuna dolara.

Dodad su divovi društvenih medija kao što su Instagram, X, YouTube i TikTok optuženi za cenzuriranje propalestinskih glasova smanjivanjem njihovog dosega, što je praksa poznata kao shadowbanning.

Axios je prošlog mjeseca izvijestio da su propalestinske objave na TikToku četiri puta više pregledane od proizraelskih. Ovo se događa u okruženju kada ljudi diljem svijeta s užasom gledaju sve veći broj žrtava u Gazi, gdje su većina ubijenih civili.

Facts For Peace ima za cilj ponovno pridobiti naklonost javnosti za Izrael, objavljujući videozapise na društvenim mrežama u kojima se okrivljuje Hamas za stradanje Palestinaca i poriču se tvrdnje o izraelskom kršenju prava. Izrael je okupirao Zapadnu obalu, istočni Jeruzalem i Gazu u ratu 1967., a kasnije je anektirao istočni Jeruzalem. Povukao je svoje snage iz Gaze 2005. godine, ali i dalje drži opsadu na teritoriju od 2,3 milijuna ljudi.
