Očekivana životna dob u dobrom zdravstvenom stanju prosječno u Europskoj uniji u 2016. godini bila je za žene 64,2 godine, za muškarce 63,5, a u Hrvatskoj 58,7 za žene i 57,1 godina za mušarce, pokazuju podaci koje je objavio Eurostat.

Na razini EU-a, prosječna očekivana životna dob u dobrom zdravlju predstavlja 77 posto od ukupne očekivane životne dobi za žene i 81 posto za muškarce.

Očekivana životna dob za žene prosječno u EU za 5,4 godine je veća nego za muškarce. Međutim, većinu tih dodatnih godina žene provedu s nekim ograničenjima u svojim aktivnostima zbog zdravstvenog stanja, dok je kod muškraca taj postotak manji.

Zemlja članica s najduljom očekivanom životnom dobi u dobrom zdravlju za oba spola je Švedska - 73,3 za žene i 73 za muškarce.

Na drugom kraju ljestvice je Latvija u kojoj je očekivana životna dob u dobrom zdravlju za žene 54,9 godina, a za muškarce 52,3 godine. Eurostat navodi da se tako velika razlika djelomično može objasniti različitim kriterijima po kojima neke zemlje mjere ograničenje aktivnosti zbog zdravstvenog stanja.

Zemlje koje imaju očekivanu životnu dob u dobrom zdravlju iznad europskog prosjeka uglavnom imaju visok životni standard, ali ima i iznimki poput Bugarske, koja je u gornjem dijelu ljestvice, dok su primjerice Švicarska i Luksemburg, zemlje s najvišim standardom, ispod prosjeka. Objašnjenje je možda u različitim kriterijima za definiciju aktivnog života bez ograničenja.

U 20 zemalja članica očekivana životna dob u dobrom zdravlju dulja za žene nego za muškarce, a u sedam država je obratno.

Očekivana životna dob u dobrom zdravstvenom stanju prosječno u Europskoj uniji u 2016. godini bila je za žene 64,2 godine, za muškarce 63,5, a u Hrvatskoj 58,7 za žene i 57,1 godina za mušarce, pokazuju podaci koje je objavio Eurostat.

Na razini EU-a, prosječna očekivana životna dob u dobrom zdravlju predstavlja 77 posto od ukupne očekivane životne dobi za žene i 81 posto za muškarce.

Očekivana životna dob za žene prosječno u EU za 5,4 godine je veća nego za muškarce. Međutim, većinu tih dodatnih godina žene provedu s nekim ograničenjima u svojim aktivnostima zbog zdravstvenog stanja, dok je kod muškraca taj postotak manji.

Zemlja članica s najduljom očekivanom životnom dobi u dobrom zdravlju za oba spola je Švedska - 73,3 za žene i 73 za muškarce.

Na drugom kraju ljestvice je Latvija u kojoj je očekivana životna dob u dobrom zdravlju za žene 54,9 godina, a za muškarce 52,3 godine. Eurostat navodi da se tako velika razlika djelomično može objasniti različitim kriterijima po kojima neke zemlje mjere ograničenje aktivnosti zbog zdravstvenog stanja.

Zemlje koje imaju očekivanu životnu dob u dobrom zdravlju iznad europskog prosjeka uglavnom imaju visok životni standard, ali ima i iznimki poput Bugarske, koja je u gornjem dijelu ljestvice, dok su primjerice Švicarska i Luksemburg, zemlje s najvišim standardom, ispod prosjeka. Objašnjenje je možda u različitim kriterijima za definiciju aktivnog života bez ograničenja.

U 20 zemalja članica očekivana životna dob u dobrom zdravlju dulja za žene nego za muškarce, a u sedam država je obratno.
