Amerika je zabrinuta. Kad kažemo Amerika mislimo na Sjedinjene Američke Države (SAD), a zabrinutost se odnosi na zbivanja na zapadnom Balkanu. Jer, geografski to možda i jest zapad, ali je ipak znatno više Balkan. U prijevodu: bure baruta.

O američkoj zabrinutosti izvijestio nas je Tonino Picula, predsjednik Radne skupine za zapadni Balkan u Europskome parlamentu, koji je početkom ovoga tjedna razgovarao s Gabrielom Escobarom, zamjenikom pomoćnika državnog tajnika SAD-a.

Razgovarali su o “zabrinjavajućim sigurnosnim i političkim prilikama na zapadnom Balkanu”, pri čemu je Picula, kako su javile agencije, istaknuo “ključnu važnost zajedničkog djelovanja Europske unije i SAD-a u obrani demokratskih vrijednosti i odlučnog stava prema onima koji ugrožavaju mir i stabilnost na tom području”.

A najveća prijetnja miru i stabilnosti zapadnog Balkana dolazi iz - Srbije. Tako barem smatra Picula. U kratkom razgovoru za Slobodnu Dalmaciju ovaj je SDP-ovac i hrvatski europarlamentarac u nekoliko navrata ponovio kako na zapadnom Balkanu nema sigurnosti dok Beograd i Banja Luka igraju u svom kolu.

Zapad ‘miluje’ Srbiju

- Aleksandar Vučić najodgovorniji je za nestabilnost u regiji, a njegova Srbija država je u kojoj je na djelu ozbiljna degradacija demokratskih standarda - tvrdi Picula.

Zapad, međutim, s takvom Srbijom nema problema. Šutke prelazi preko svega što od Vučića dolazi i uredno kusa sve njegove sljedove.

- Europska unija napokon bi trebala prestati s politikom podilaženja Srbiji - jasno će Picula, podsjećajući na nedavnu rezoluciju Europskog parlamenta, kojoj je upravo on bio autor, prema kojoj je jedini lijek za Vučićev režim uvođenje restriktivnih mjera.

Što mu je točno na tu temu kazao Gabriel Escobar nije nam mogao otkriti jer je razgovor, reče, bio povjerljiv, iza čvrsto zatvorenih vrata, no da je dobro, nije. Uostalom, rekosmo već da je Washington zabrinut.

- Idemo s lošeg na gore. Kraj prošle godine donio je određeni optimizam jer je Vladimir Putin sa svojom ekspanzionističkom politikom uspio proširiti NATO i obnoviti interes za članstvo u Uniji. Ujedinjenoj Europi su se tako približili Ukrajina i Moldavija, pa zatim i Bosna i Hercegovina te Albanija i Sjeverna Makedonija, čak se i Kosovo odvažilo podnijeti zahtjev za učlanjenjem, a bez napretka po tom pitanju ostale su samo Crna Gora i Srbija.

No, ove godine nema dobrih vijesti. Dapače, nedavni napad srpske paravojne skupine na sjeveru Kosova bio je pucanj u tamošnji dijalog i veliki korak natrag, iako ni kosovske vlasti nisu sasvim bez krivnje za međunacionalne napetosti jer nikako da ispune obvezu formiranja zajednice srpskih općina - objašnjava Picula.

Ukratko, na Kosovu vrije, a kod Srba se iznova sve glasnije čuje kako nitko ne smije da ih bije. I uopće se ne zamaraju kako su posljednji put prošli kad su se pod tom parolom bili okupili. Što će im, uostalom, sve te silne puške, ako koji put iz njih ne mogu zapucati.

Veze s Moskvom

Picula i Escobar o Kosovu su imali što pričati. A imali su bogme i o Bosni i Hercegovini. Čiju europsku perspektivu ugrožava ponaprije jedan čovjek, Milorad Dodik.

- Dodik je nositelj najopasnijeg radikalizma u BiH, on je kronična bolest na koju smo se, nažalost, navikli - veli Picula.

Što se tiče Dodikovih prijetnji da će povući Republiku Srpsku prema odcjepljenju i tako izazvati još veći kaos na zapadnom Balkanu, naš sugovornik ne smatra to izglednim scenarijem.

- Naravno da treba biti oprezan, jer je eskalacija uvijek moguća, poglavito kad znamo da je Dodik stalno na izravnoj vezi s Beogradom i Moskvom, no on ipak, svoj svojoj retorici usprkos, pazi da ne prijeđe duplu crtu koja vodi prema secesiji jer zna kakvu bi reakciju zapada u tom slučaju dobio - napominje Picula.

Ponavlja kako živimo u politički iznimno nestabilnom vremenu i kako na zapadnom Balkanu, čiji smo dio, koliko god se pravili da nismo, nema opuštanja.

- Nemojte zaboraviti kako diljem BiH još uvijek imate raspoređeno oko 5500 pripadnika Europskih mirovnih snaga, evo su baš nedavno dobili novu opremu - zaključuje Tonino Picula.

Amerika je zabrinuta. Kad kažemo Amerika mislimo na Sjedinjene Američke Države (SAD), a zabrinutost se odnosi na zbivanja na zapadnom Balkanu. Jer, geografski to možda i jest zapad, ali je ipak znatno više Balkan. U prijevodu: bure baruta.

O američkoj zabrinutosti izvijestio nas je Tonino Picula, predsjednik Radne skupine za zapadni Balkan u Europskome parlamentu, koji je početkom ovoga tjedna razgovarao s Gabrielom Escobarom, zamjenikom pomoćnika državnog tajnika SAD-a.

Razgovarali su o “zabrinjavajućim sigurnosnim i političkim prilikama na zapadnom Balkanu”, pri čemu je Picula, kako su javile agencije, istaknuo “ključnu važnost zajedničkog djelovanja Europske unije i SAD-a u obrani demokratskih vrijednosti i odlučnog stava prema onima koji ugrožavaju mir i stabilnost na tom području”.

A najveća prijetnja miru i stabilnosti zapadnog Balkana dolazi iz - Srbije. Tako barem smatra Picula. U kratkom razgovoru za Slobodnu Dalmaciju ovaj je SDP-ovac i hrvatski europarlamentarac u nekoliko navrata ponovio kako na zapadnom Balkanu nema sigurnosti dok Beograd i Banja Luka igraju u svom kolu.

Zapad ‘miluje’ Srbiju

- Aleksandar Vučić najodgovorniji je za nestabilnost u regiji, a njegova Srbija država je u kojoj je na djelu ozbiljna degradacija demokratskih standarda - tvrdi Picula.

Zapad, međutim, s takvom Srbijom nema problema. Šutke prelazi preko svega što od Vučića dolazi i uredno kusa sve njegove sljedove.

- Europska unija napokon bi trebala prestati s politikom podilaženja Srbiji - jasno će Picula, podsjećajući na nedavnu rezoluciju Europskog parlamenta, kojoj je upravo on bio autor, prema kojoj je jedini lijek za Vučićev režim uvođenje restriktivnih mjera.

Što mu je točno na tu temu kazao Gabriel Escobar nije nam mogao otkriti jer je razgovor, reče, bio povjerljiv, iza čvrsto zatvorenih vrata, no da je dobro, nije. Uostalom, rekosmo već da je Washington zabrinut.

- Idemo s lošeg na gore. Kraj prošle godine donio je određeni optimizam jer je Vladimir Putin sa svojom ekspanzionističkom politikom uspio proširiti NATO i obnoviti interes za članstvo u Uniji. Ujedinjenoj Europi su se tako približili Ukrajina i Moldavija, pa zatim i Bosna i Hercegovina te Albanija i Sjeverna Makedonija, čak se i Kosovo odvažilo podnijeti zahtjev za učlanjenjem, a bez napretka po tom pitanju ostale su samo Crna Gora i Srbija.

No, ove godine nema dobrih vijesti. Dapače, nedavni napad srpske paravojne skupine na sjeveru Kosova bio je pucanj u tamošnji dijalog i veliki korak natrag, iako ni kosovske vlasti nisu sasvim bez krivnje za međunacionalne napetosti jer nikako da ispune obvezu formiranja zajednice srpskih općina - objašnjava Picula.

Ukratko, na Kosovu vrije, a kod Srba se iznova sve glasnije čuje kako nitko ne smije da ih bije. I uopće se ne zamaraju kako su posljednji put prošli kad su se pod tom parolom bili okupili. Što će im, uostalom, sve te silne puške, ako koji put iz njih ne mogu zapucati.

Veze s Moskvom

Picula i Escobar o Kosovu su imali što pričati. A imali su bogme i o Bosni i Hercegovini. Čiju europsku perspektivu ugrožava ponaprije jedan čovjek, Milorad Dodik.

- Dodik je nositelj najopasnijeg radikalizma u BiH, on je kronična bolest na koju smo se, nažalost, navikli - veli Picula.

Što se tiče Dodikovih prijetnji da će povući Republiku Srpsku prema odcjepljenju i tako izazvati još veći kaos na zapadnom Balkanu, naš sugovornik ne smatra to izglednim scenarijem.

- Naravno da treba biti oprezan, jer je eskalacija uvijek moguća, poglavito kad znamo da je Dodik stalno na izravnoj vezi s Beogradom i Moskvom, no on ipak, svoj svojoj retorici usprkos, pazi da ne prijeđe duplu crtu koja vodi prema secesiji jer zna kakvu bi reakciju zapada u tom slučaju dobio - napominje Picula.

Ponavlja kako živimo u politički iznimno nestabilnom vremenu i kako na zapadnom Balkanu, čiji smo dio, koliko god se pravili da nismo, nema opuštanja.

- Nemojte zaboraviti kako diljem BiH još uvijek imate raspoređeno oko 5500 pripadnika Europskih mirovnih snaga, evo su baš nedavno dobili novu opremu - zaključuje Tonino Picula.
