Nakon što su liječnici premijeru Andreju Plenkoviću, koji je obolio od covida-19, preporučili da produlji izolaciju i nakon isteka obaveznih 10 dana, zanimalo nas je kada se stječu uvjeti za produljenje izolacije, tko o tome odlučuje i koji su to simptomi koje osoba treba imati ostane na kućnom liječenju.
Na pitanja je za Jutarnji list odgovorio dr. Bernard Kaić, voditelj Službe za epidemiologiju zaraznih bolesti HZJZ-a.
Prema uputama HZJZ-a, izolacija oboljelih od covida-19 traje deset dana. U kojim se slučajevima produljuje izolacija? Smatra li se osoba infektivnom ako i dalje kašlje ili joj curi nos? Tko odlučuje o prestanku izolacije i na temelju čega?
Kriteriji za završetak izolacije temelje se prvenstveno na podatku o početku simptoma i kliničkoj slici bolesti. Za oboljele s blagom ili umjerenom kliničkom slikom koje nisu imunokompromitirane, preporučeno trajanje izolacije je najmanje deset dana od prvog dana bolesti, a izolaciju treba produljiti kod osoba koje i dalje imaju povišenu temperaturu ili izražene druge simptome kao što je kašalj bez poboljšanja.
Za oboljele s teškom kliničkom slikom ili imunokompromitirane osobe preporučeno trajanje izolacije iznosi najmanje 14, odnosno 20 dana, uz također ispunjen kriterij o poboljšanju kliničke slike. O prestanku izolacije odlučuje liječnik koji brine o bolesniku, a temeljem preporuka koje je izdao HZJZ. Ove preporuke temelje se na dosadašnjim spoznajama o trajanju zaraznosti i podložne su promjenama.
Koliki je postotak onih kojima bolest traje dulje od deset dana?
- Služba za epidemiologiju zaraznih bolesti ne prikuplja rutinski ove podatke.
Koji su najčešće produljeni simptomi blaži, koji srednje teški, a koji teški?
- Najčešće je riječ o produljenom kašlju ili poremećaju osjeta mirisa i okusa.
Treba li i koje lijekove uzimati osoba koja tijekom covid- bolesti nije trebala hospitalizaciju?
- Liječenje oboljelih od covida-19 koji nemaju potrebu za hospitalizacijom je simptomatsko, prema uputama liječnika obiteljske medicine, a odnosi se na snižavanje tjelesne temperature, rehidraciju, ublažavanje bolova i drugo, ovisno o simptomima. Svakako treba napomenuti da oboljele osobe trebaju biti u izolaciji i fizički se odvojiti od ostalih ukućana kako bi se smanjio rizik njihova zaražavanja.
Kako osoba može znati da joj je potreban "kisik"?
- Procjenu o potrebi za kisikom donosi liječnik.
Koji su simptomi na koje bolesnik na kućnom liječenju mora reagirati odlaskom liječniku?
- Osobe s izraženim kašljem, povećanom frekvencijom disanja, kratkim dahom, povišenom tjelesnom temperaturom koja se ne spušta nakon primjene antipiretika, narušenim općim stanjem, poremećajem svijesti, izrazito niskim ili visokim krvnim tlakom ili dehidracijom, trebaju se javiti liječniku.

Nakon što su liječnici premijeru Andreju Plenkoviću, koji je obolio od covida-19, preporučili da produlji izolaciju i nakon isteka obaveznih 10 dana, zanimalo nas je kada se stječu uvjeti za produljenje izolacije, tko o tome odlučuje i koji su to simptomi koje osoba treba imati ostane na kućnom liječenju.
Na pitanja je za Jutarnji list odgovorio dr. Bernard Kaić, voditelj Službe za epidemiologiju zaraznih bolesti HZJZ-a.
Prema uputama HZJZ-a, izolacija oboljelih od covida-19 traje deset dana. U kojim se slučajevima produljuje izolacija? Smatra li se osoba infektivnom ako i dalje kašlje ili joj curi nos? Tko odlučuje o prestanku izolacije i na temelju čega?
Kriteriji za završetak izolacije temelje se prvenstveno na podatku o početku simptoma i kliničkoj slici bolesti. Za oboljele s blagom ili umjerenom kliničkom slikom koje nisu imunokompromitirane, preporučeno trajanje izolacije je najmanje deset dana od prvog dana bolesti, a izolaciju treba produljiti kod osoba koje i dalje imaju povišenu temperaturu ili izražene druge simptome kao što je kašalj bez poboljšanja.
Za oboljele s teškom kliničkom slikom ili imunokompromitirane osobe preporučeno trajanje izolacije iznosi najmanje 14, odnosno 20 dana, uz također ispunjen kriterij o poboljšanju kliničke slike. O prestanku izolacije odlučuje liječnik koji brine o bolesniku, a temeljem preporuka koje je izdao HZJZ. Ove preporuke temelje se na dosadašnjim spoznajama o trajanju zaraznosti i podložne su promjenama.
Koliki je postotak onih kojima bolest traje dulje od deset dana?
- Služba za epidemiologiju zaraznih bolesti ne prikuplja rutinski ove podatke.
Koji su najčešće produljeni simptomi blaži, koji srednje teški, a koji teški?
- Najčešće je riječ o produljenom kašlju ili poremećaju osjeta mirisa i okusa.
Treba li i koje lijekove uzimati osoba koja tijekom covid- bolesti nije trebala hospitalizaciju?
- Liječenje oboljelih od covida-19 koji nemaju potrebu za hospitalizacijom je simptomatsko, prema uputama liječnika obiteljske medicine, a odnosi se na snižavanje tjelesne temperature, rehidraciju, ublažavanje bolova i drugo, ovisno o simptomima. Svakako treba napomenuti da oboljele osobe trebaju biti u izolaciji i fizički se odvojiti od ostalih ukućana kako bi se smanjio rizik njihova zaražavanja.
Kako osoba može znati da joj je potreban "kisik"?
- Procjenu o potrebi za kisikom donosi liječnik.
Koji su simptomi na koje bolesnik na kućnom liječenju mora reagirati odlaskom liječniku?
