Ines Ivančić, rukovoditeljica seizmološke službe RH, u Dnevniku N1 televizije komentirala je razorni potres koji je danas pogodio Tursku.

Potvrdila je da je seizmička aktivnost na tom području trenutno još uvijek vrlo intenzivna te da će sasvim sigurno trajati još dosta dugo.

“Ovako jak potres zabilježen je zasigurno na svim seizmološkim postajama na Zemlji”, rekla je Ivančić objašnjavajući da energija oslobođena ovim potresom 125 puta veća od one nakon petrinjskog potresa.

“Osim toga, kada imate potres magnitude 7.8, tada se rasjedna ploha aktivira u duljini većoj od 200 km. To je veliko područje koje je pogođeno ovim potresom, zato su i posljedice tako velike”, kazala je te dodala da su posljedice plitkih potresa puno veće na površini.

Komentirala je i zašto je potres u Turskoj bio toliko smrtonosan te što ga je uzrokovalo?

“Seizmo-tektonsko područje Turske je jedno specifično područje. Tamo postoji ta Anatolijska ploča koju gura Arapska ploča. S južne strane se nalazi Istočno-Anatolijski rasjed koji se upravo sada i aktivirao. On je dug 570 km. Rasjedi u Hrvatskoj su sasvim drugačijih karakteristika. Imamo tektonski sustav niza manjih ploha koji ne mogu izazvati tako velike potrese”, objasnila je Ivančić za N1.

Komentirala je i koja maksimalna magnituda potresa koja se može očekivati na našim područjima, Ivančić je kazala:

“U sjeverozapadnoj Hrvatskoj se procjenjuje da je maksimalna magnituda potresa 6.5, dok je na obalnom području prema jugu maksimalna magnituda oko 7 ili nešto malo više – oko 7.2, 7.3.

Ines Ivančić, rukovoditeljica seizmološke službe RH, u Dnevniku N1 televizije komentirala je razorni potres koji je danas pogodio Tursku.

Potvrdila je da je seizmička aktivnost na tom području trenutno još uvijek vrlo intenzivna te da će sasvim sigurno trajati još dosta dugo.

“Ovako jak potres zabilježen je zasigurno na svim seizmološkim postajama na Zemlji”, rekla je Ivančić objašnjavajući da energija oslobođena ovim potresom 125 puta veća od one nakon petrinjskog potresa.

“Osim toga, kada imate potres magnitude 7.8, tada se rasjedna ploha aktivira u duljini većoj od 200 km. To je veliko područje koje je pogođeno ovim potresom, zato su i posljedice tako velike”, kazala je te dodala da su posljedice plitkih potresa puno veće na površini.

Komentirala je i zašto je potres u Turskoj bio toliko smrtonosan te što ga je uzrokovalo?

“Seizmo-tektonsko područje Turske je jedno specifično područje. Tamo postoji ta Anatolijska ploča koju gura Arapska ploča. S južne strane se nalazi Istočno-Anatolijski rasjed koji se upravo sada i aktivirao. On je dug 570 km. Rasjedi u Hrvatskoj su sasvim drugačijih karakteristika. Imamo tektonski sustav niza manjih ploha koji ne mogu izazvati tako velike potrese”, objasnila je Ivančić za N1.

Komentirala je i koja maksimalna magnituda potresa koja se može očekivati na našim područjima, Ivančić je kazala:

“U sjeverozapadnoj Hrvatskoj se procjenjuje da je maksimalna magnituda potresa 6.5, dok je na obalnom području prema jugu maksimalna magnituda oko 7 ili nešto malo više – oko 7.2, 7.3.

Seizmologinja otkrila zašto je potres u Turskoj toliko smrtonosan te koje su najviše moguće magnitude u Hrvatskoj

Ines Ivančić, rukovoditeljica seizmološke službe RH, u Dnevniku N1 televizije komentirala je razorni potres koji je danas pogodio Tursku.

Potvrdila je da je seizmička aktivnost na tom području trenutno još uvijek vrlo intenzivna te da će sasvim sigurno trajati još dosta dugo.

“Ovako jak potres zabilježen je zasigurno na svim seizmološkim postajama na Zemlji”, rekla je Ivančić objašnjavajući da energija oslobođena ovim potresom 125 puta veća od one nakon petrinjskog potresa.

“Osim toga, kada imate potres magnitude 7.8, tada se rasjedna ploha aktivira u duljini većoj od 200 km. To je veliko područje koje je pogođeno ovim potresom, zato su i posljedice tako velike”, kazala je te dodala da su posljedice plitkih potresa puno veće na površini.
