Hrvatsku je ove zime pogodila bakterijska streptokokna infekcija u obliku angine ili šarlaha, koja je poprimila razine epidemije, a od invazivnog oblika bolesti oboljelo je 15 osoba od kojih su četiri umrle, doznaje se u srijedu u Hrvatskom zavodu za javno zdravstvo (HZJZ). 

"Do sada imamo 15 slučajeva invazivnog streptokoka, među kojima je i dvoje djece predškolske dobi. Umrle su četiri zaražene osobe u dobi od 35 do 65 godina", rekla je Hini zamjenica ravnatelja HZJZ-a Ivana Pavić Šimetin.

Ističe da u Hrvatskoj do sada nije zabilježena tolika eskalacija invazivne streptokokne infekcije. Situacija je slična diljem Europe, a prvi alarm krenuo je prije dva mjeseca iz Velike Britanije, gdje imaju i smrtne ishode oboljele djece.

"Za razliku od prethodnih godina, imamo pojavu invazivnog streptokoka. To znači da se bakterija ne zadržava u grlu ili na koži već može zahvatiti moždane ovojnice i izazvati meningitis ili pak ući u krvotok uzrokujući sepsu", upozorava zamjenica ravnatelja HZJZ-a.

Od prosinca traje epidemijsko širenje streptokoka. Oko 4500 osoba je zatražilo od rujna liječničku pomoć zbog angine i oko 1500 zbog šarlaha.

Hrvatsku je pogodila epidemija opasne bakterije: do sada su umrle četiri osobe, imale su između 30 i 65 godina

Simptomi su gubitak apetita i opća slabost, otežano hodanje, promjena boje kože, bol kod gutanja i upala ždrijela, uz visoku temperaturu.

Streptokokna bolest uspješno se liječi penicilinskim antibioticima, kojih ima u ljekarnama.

Nije uočena rezistencija cirkulirajućih streptokoka na tu vrstu antibiotika, važno je samo na vrijeme početi terapiju i uzimati ju do kraja. U suprotnom, moguće su komplikacije poput reumatske groznice.

Što se tiče gripe, i dalje se bilježi porast broja zaraženih, među kojima je do sada zabilježeno pet smrtnih slučajeva.

Poziv građanima na cijepljenje protiv gripe, još ima 300.000 doza

Po posljednjim podacima HZJZ-a, registrirano je 15.326 oboljelih od grupe, a samo u posljednjem tjednu 4123 novooboljele osobe.

"Još uvijek imamo porast oboljelih. Očekujemo da će taj broj i dalje rasti još tjedan - dva, nakon toga slijedi stagnacija i pad broja oboljelih", rekla je Pavić Šimetin.

Ponovno je pozvala ljude da se cijepe protiv gripe, te poručila da cjepiva ima dovoljno, nabavljeno je 600.000 doza, a do sada utrošeno oko 300.000. Cijepiti se može kod obiteljskog liječnika, na punktovima Zavoda za javno zdravstvo i u epidemiološkim ambulantama.

Vezano uz covid, u siječnju je od te bolesti umrla 281 osoba, u prosjeku oko sedam dnevno, što pokazuje "stabilnu situaciju koja ide na bolje". Pavić Šimetin podsjeća na vrijeme dominacije delta varijante, kada je dnevno umiralo i po 70 ljudi.

"U Hrvatskoj je od pojave omikrona puno bolja klinička slika, puno brže se virus širi i puno osoba ni ne zna da je zaraženo. No, situacija u bolnicama je stabilna, nešto je manje od 400 hospitaliziranih. Imamo lagani pad broja preminulih na dnevnoj razini, iako je to i dalje puno", kaže Pavić Šimetin.

Usporedbe radi, od gripe je u cijeloj sezoni umrlo pet oboljelih, a od covida u protekla 24 sata - šestero.

Interes za cijepljenje protiv covida i dalje je jako slab, a jučer je utrošeno samo 65 doza cjepiva.

Od studenog vlada iznimno mali interes za cijepljenje, a sada se koristi cjepivo koje štiti od BA.4/BA.5 omikron varijante, koja uključuje i zaštitu od izvornog wuhanskog soja koronavirusa. 

Neiskorištena cjepiva, kojima uskoro istječe rok trajanja, doniraju se u druge zemlje, većinom afričke, kaže Pavić Šimetin.

Pojasnila je i što je invazivni streptokok, kazavši kako to znači da se on ne zadržava u obliku gnojne angine i šarlaha, nego se razviju meningitis i/ili sepsa.

Građanima savjetuje da se jave liječniku u slučajevima kada se visoka temperatura ne može skinuti tri ili četiri dana, kao i ako imaju loš apetit, ako se ne mogu ustati iz kreveta, teško hodaju, ako se javi promjena u boji kože ili teško disanje.

Što se tiče gripe, kaže da se tek približavamo vrhuncu.

“Prema zadnjim podacima, još uvijek je od 15.000 registriranih njih 4.000 registrirano u posljednjem tjednu. Još uvijek, dakle, imamo rast, i to dosta velik. Kroz tjedan ili dva bi moglo doći do stagnacije, a onda kasnije i do pada. Važno je reći da se ljudi i dalje mogu cijepiti, pogotovo rizične skupine”, upozorila je.

Upitana nedostaje li antibiotika, rekla je da se streptokokna bolest liječi s pencilinskim antibioticima, a njih ima.

“Na sreću, nema rezistencije, osjetljivi su na antibiotike”, istaknula je Pavić Šimetin za N1.

O stanju s lijekovima protiv covida kaže:

“Oni se daju u bolnicama i prema protokolu infektologa uzima se u obzir i dob i klinička slika i druge bolesti koje osoba ima, prema tome se određuje kome će se lijekovi dati. Lijekova ima, dolaze onoliko koliko bolnice iskazuju potrebe. Vrijeme kada se dogodio Matijanićev slučaj bolnice su bile pod puno većim opterećenjem.”

Hrvatsku je ove zime pogodila bakterijska streptokokna infekcija u obliku angine ili šarlaha, koja je poprimila razine epidemije, a od invazivnog oblika bolesti oboljelo je 15 osoba od kojih su četiri umrle, doznaje se u srijedu u Hrvatskom zavodu za javno zdravstvo (HZJZ). 

"Do sada imamo 15 slučajeva invazivnog streptokoka, među kojima je i dvoje djece predškolske dobi. Umrle su četiri zaražene osobe u dobi od 35 do 65 godina", rekla je Hini zamjenica ravnatelja HZJZ-a Ivana Pavić Šimetin.

Ističe da u Hrvatskoj do sada nije zabilježena tolika eskalacija invazivne streptokokne infekcije. Situacija je slična diljem Europe, a prvi alarm krenuo je prije dva mjeseca iz Velike Britanije, gdje imaju i smrtne ishode oboljele djece.

"Za razliku od prethodnih godina, imamo pojavu invazivnog streptokoka. To znači da se bakterija ne zadržava u grlu ili na koži već može zahvatiti moždane ovojnice i izazvati meningitis ili pak ući u krvotok uzrokujući sepsu", upozorava zamjenica ravnatelja HZJZ-a.

Od prosinca traje epidemijsko širenje streptokoka. Oko 4500 osoba je zatražilo od rujna liječničku pomoć zbog angine i oko 1500 zbog šarlaha.

Simptomi su gubitak apetita i opća slabost, otežano hodanje, promjena boje kože, bol kod gutanja i upala ždrijela, uz visoku temperaturu.

Streptokokna bolest uspješno se liječi penicilinskim antibioticima, kojih ima u ljekarnama.

Nije uočena rezistencija cirkulirajućih streptokoka na tu vrstu antibiotika, važno je samo na vrijeme početi terapiju i uzimati ju do kraja. U suprotnom, moguće su komplikacije poput reumatske groznice.

Što se tiče gripe, i dalje se bilježi porast broja zaraženih, među kojima je do sada zabilježeno pet smrtnih slučajeva.

Poziv građanima na cijepljenje protiv gripe, još ima 300.000 doza

Po posljednjim podacima HZJZ-a, registrirano je 15.326 oboljelih od grupe, a samo u posljednjem tjednu 4123 novooboljele osobe.

"Još uvijek imamo porast oboljelih. Očekujemo da će taj broj i dalje rasti još tjedan - dva, nakon toga slijedi stagnacija i pad broja oboljelih", rekla je Pavić Šimetin.

Ponovno je pozvala ljude da se cijepe protiv gripe, te poručila da cjepiva ima dovoljno, nabavljeno je 600.000 doza, a do sada utrošeno oko 300.000. Cijepiti se može kod obiteljskog liječnika, na punktovima Zavoda za javno zdravstvo i u epidemiološkim ambulantama.

Vezano uz covid, u siječnju je od te bolesti umrla 281 osoba, u prosjeku oko sedam dnevno, što pokazuje "stabilnu situaciju koja ide na bolje". Pavić Šimetin podsjeća na vrijeme dominacije delta varijante, kada je dnevno umiralo i po 70 ljudi.

"U Hrvatskoj je od pojave omikrona puno bolja klinička slika, puno brže se virus širi i puno osoba ni ne zna da je zaraženo. No, situacija u bolnicama je stabilna, nešto je manje od 400 hospitaliziranih. Imamo lagani pad broja preminulih na dnevnoj razini, iako je to i dalje puno", kaže Pavić Šimetin.

Usporedbe radi, od gripe je u cijeloj sezoni umrlo pet oboljelih, a od covida u protekla 24 sata - šestero.

Interes za cijepljenje protiv covida i dalje je jako slab, a jučer je utrošeno samo 65 doza cjepiva.

Od studenog vlada iznimno mali interes za cijepljenje, a sada se koristi cjepivo koje štiti od BA.4/BA.5 omikron varijante, koja uključuje i zaštitu od izvornog wuhanskog soja koronavirusa. 

Neiskorištena cjepiva, kojima uskoro istječe rok trajanja, doniraju se u druge zemlje, većinom afričke, kaže Pavić Šimetin.

Pojasnila je i što je invazivni streptokok, kazavši kako to znači da se on ne zadržava u obliku gnojne angine i šarlaha, nego se razviju meningitis i/ili sepsa.

Građanima savjetuje da se jave liječniku u slučajevima kada se visoka temperatura ne može skinuti tri ili četiri dana, kao i ako imaju loš apetit, ako se ne mogu ustati iz kreveta, teško hodaju, ako se javi promjena u boji kože ili teško disanje.

Što se tiče gripe, kaže da se tek približavamo vrhuncu.

“Prema zadnjim podacima, još uvijek je od 15.000 registriranih njih 4.000 registrirano u posljednjem tjednu. Još uvijek, dakle, imamo rast, i to dosta velik. Kroz tjedan ili dva bi moglo doći do stagnacije, a onda kasnije i do pada. Važno je reći da se ljudi i dalje mogu cijepiti, pogotovo rizične skupine”, upozorila je.

Upitana nedostaje li antibiotika, rekla je da se streptokokna bolest liječi s pencilinskim antibioticima, a njih ima.

“Na sreću, nema rezistencije, osjetljivi su na antibiotike”, istaknula je Pavić Šimetin za N1.

O stanju s lijekovima protiv covida kaže:

“Oni se daju u bolnicama i prema protokolu infektologa uzima se u obzir i dob i klinička slika i druge bolesti koje osoba ima, prema tome se određuje kome će se lijekovi dati. Lijekova ima, dolaze onoliko koliko bolnice iskazuju potrebe. Vrijeme kada se dogodio Matijanićev slučaj bolnice su bile pod puno većim opterećenjem.”
