Facebook stranica Geofizika uživo objavila je simulaciju za vrijeme najjačeg potresa u Petrinji 29. prosinca.

'Video prikazuje rezultate simulaciju vertikalne komponente brzine gibanja tla Petrinjskog potresa koji se dogodio 29. prosinca 2020. u 12:19, MW = 6.4. Za simulaciju je korišten novi 3D model brzina i gustoća za područje središnje Hrvatske te pojednostavljeni točkasti model izvora potresa, objavili su.

'Premda preliminarni, rezultati jasno pokazuju u kolikoj mjeri struktura tla nekog područja utječe na kompleksnost rasprostiranja potresnih valova te efekte pojačanja i produljenja trešnje.

Tako, primjerice, u dolinama valovi ostaju zarobljeni u mekšim sedimentnim naslagama, između površine i čvrste stijenske mase u podlozi. Uslijed toga dolazi do produljenja trajanja trešnje i povećanja amplitude valova (npr. Zagreb se tresao nešto dulje od minute!).

S druge strane, u gorskim područjima, gdje stijene većih brzina dolaze do površine, može se vidjeti brzi prolazak valne fronte te slabija i kraća trešnja. Zanimljivo je uočiti da na nekim dijelovima dolazi do kanaliziranja valova (npr. Zaprešić) te se time također povećava intenzitet potresa iako je područje relativno daleko od epicentra.

Ova simulacija napravljena je u sklopu istraživačkog rada doktorandice Helena Latečki pod vodstvom doc. dr. sc. Josipa Stipčevića s PMF-a i u suradnji s dr. sc. Irene Molinari s Nacionalnog Instituta za geofiziku i vulkanologiju (INGV), Italija.

U okviru izrade ovog istraživanja korišteni su resursi računalnog klastera Isabella koji održava Sveučilišni računski centar Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (Srce), pojašnjavaju.

Facebook stranica Geofizika uživo objavila je simulaciju za vrijeme najjačeg potresa u Petrinji 29. prosinca.

'Video prikazuje rezultate simulaciju vertikalne komponente brzine gibanja tla Petrinjskog potresa koji se dogodio 29. prosinca 2020. u 12:19, MW = 6.4. Za simulaciju je korišten novi 3D model brzina i gustoća za područje središnje Hrvatske te pojednostavljeni točkasti model izvora potresa, objavili su.

'Premda preliminarni, rezultati jasno pokazuju u kolikoj mjeri struktura tla nekog područja utječe na kompleksnost rasprostiranja potresnih valova te efekte pojačanja i produljenja trešnje.

Tako, primjerice, u dolinama valovi ostaju zarobljeni u mekšim sedimentnim naslagama, između površine i čvrste stijenske mase u podlozi. Uslijed toga dolazi do produljenja trajanja trešnje i povećanja amplitude valova (npr. Zagreb se tresao nešto dulje od minute!).

S druge strane, u gorskim područjima, gdje stijene većih brzina dolaze do površine, može se vidjeti brzi prolazak valne fronte te slabija i kraća trešnja. Zanimljivo je uočiti da na nekim dijelovima dolazi do kanaliziranja valova (npr. Zaprešić) te se time također povećava intenzitet potresa iako je područje relativno daleko od epicentra.

Ova simulacija napravljena je u sklopu istraživačkog rada doktorandice Helena Latečki pod vodstvom doc. dr. sc. Josipa Stipčevića s PMF-a i u suradnji s dr. sc. Irene Molinari s Nacionalnog Instituta za geofiziku i vulkanologiju (INGV), Italija.

U okviru izrade ovog istraživanja korišteni su resursi računalnog klastera Isabella koji održava Sveučilišni računski centar Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (Srce), pojašnjavaju.

Facebook stranica Geofizika uživo objavila je simulaciju za vrijeme najjačeg potresa u Petrinji 29. prosinca.

'Video prikazuje rezultate simulaciju vertikalne komponente brzine gibanja tla Petrinjskog potresa koji se dogodio 29. prosinca 2020. u 12:19, MW = 6.4. Za simulaciju je korišten novi 3D model brzina i gustoća za područje središnje Hrvatske te pojednostavljeni točkasti model izvora potresa, objavili su.

'Premda preliminarni, rezultati jasno pokazuju u kolikoj mjeri struktura tla nekog područja utječe na kompleksnost rasprostiranja potresnih valova te efekte pojačanja i produljenja trešnje.
