Pogrešno je i sramotno to što smo u UN-u glasali protiv rezolucije, trebali smo podržati primirje jer svi smo svjesni da ljudi ginu na obje strane, makar da smo bili suzdržani - komentirala je Sandra Benčić iz Možemo odluku vladajućih prema kojoj se Hrvatska našla među 14 država koje su glasale protiv rezolucije kojom se traži "trenutačno, trajno i održivo humanitarno primirje" između izraelskih snaga i militanata Hamasa.

Protiv su, također, glasale i Austrija, Češka, Mađarska, Izrael i SAD, uz neke manje zemlje, dok se od glasanja suzdržalo 45 država, među kojima su Njemačka i druge članice EU. Saborska zastupnica Možemo Benčić kaže da joj je potpuno nerazumljivo zašto smo se u Europi našli u manjini, donekle razumljivim bi smatrala da smo bili suzdržani.

- Hrvatska bi trebala biti za primirje, posebno zbog naše ne tako davne prošlosti - dodaje Benčić, piše Jutarnji list.

Nikola Grmoja iz Mosta također kaže da oni "zagovaraju mirno rješenje sukoba i njihovu deeskalaciju gdje god je to moguće" te smatraju da smo ipak trebali biti suzdržani po tom pitanju.

- Rezolucija koju su gurale muslimanske i arapske zemlje i u kojoj nema osude Hamasa i strašnih terorističkih zločina i u koju nije ušao amandman Kanade o predaji taoca nije se mogla podržati. Zato je trebalo biti suzdržan kao i većina EU zemlja - dodao je Grmoja. 

Joško Klisović iz SDP-a također smatra da smo barem trebali biti suzdržani jer drži kako je cilj ove rezolucije bio da se osigura dostava humanitarne pomoći nevinim ljudima.

- Naravno da treba podržati pravo Izraela da osigura punu sigurnost svojim građanima i da se protiv terorista treba boriti, no ova je rezolucija trebala zaustaviti ratna djelovanja s ciljem da se u ratnu zonu nevinim ljudima dostavi humanitarna pomoć. Jer ako je Kanada glasala suzdržano, zašto smo mi glasali protiv, trebalo je poslati poruku da skrbimo za nevine ljude - kazao je Klisović iz SDP-a. Jedini koji se izjasnio na strani vladajućih od naših sugovornika bio je Stjepo Bartulica iz redova Domovinskog pokreta.

- Smatram da Hrvatska nije mogla podržati rezoluciju koja ne osuđuje terorističke napade Hamasa. Politički gledano, dobro da smo se svrstali uz Sjedinjene Američke Države. Treba podsjetiti da je SAD zaustavio rezoluciju UN-a koja je tražila da prekinemo osloboditeljsku akciju Oluju u kolovozu 1995. S druge strane, Izrael mora strogo paziti da razmjerno koristi vojnu silu kako bi se izbjegnulo stradanje nevinih civila - komentirao je Bartulica iz Domovinskog pokreta, piše Jutarnji list.

Na stav Hrvatske u UN-u negativno su jučer reagirali i iz Socijalističke radničke partije Hrvatske, rekavši:

- Izražavamo zgražanje i najenergičnije osuđujemo, kao i velika većina naših građana, sramotnu odluku hrvatskih vlasti da glasa protiv rezolucije s grotesknim opravdanjima, nasuprot zaustavljanju eklatantnog i još u 21. stoljeću neviđenog genocida nad palestinskim narodom koji se događa pred očima cijelog svijeta i zbog kojeg s pravom traju masovni protesti širom svijeta, zahtijevajući momentalni prekid ratnih operacija - stoji u njihovu priopćenju.

Također dodaju da ih "zabrinjava stupanj sluganstva naše vlade ‘zapadnim partnerima‘ koje nadilazi zdrav razum, pogotovo što smo i sami nedavno imali sve strahote ratnog bezumlja i stradanja velikog broja ljudi, napose nevinih civila". Taj stav Hrvatske na društvenim mrežama komentirao je i odvjetnik Luka Mišetić.

- Ne tako davno, u kasnim satima 4. kolovoza 1995. godine, u NY većina država članica Vijeća sigurnosti bila je za rezoluciju kojom se Hrvatska osuđuje zbog pokretanja operacije Oluja te za humanitarni prekid vatre. Protivljenje Sjedinjenih Država zaustavilo je rezoluciju - napisao je Mišetić.

Pogrešno je i sramotno to što smo u UN-u glasali protiv rezolucije, trebali smo podržati primirje jer svi smo svjesni da ljudi ginu na obje strane, makar da smo bili suzdržani - komentirala je Sandra Benčić iz Možemo odluku vladajućih prema kojoj se Hrvatska našla među 14 država koje su glasale protiv rezolucije kojom se traži "trenutačno, trajno i održivo humanitarno primirje" između izraelskih snaga i militanata Hamasa.

Protiv su, također, glasale i Austrija, Češka, Mađarska, Izrael i SAD, uz neke manje zemlje, dok se od glasanja suzdržalo 45 država, među kojima su Njemačka i druge članice EU. Saborska zastupnica Možemo Benčić kaže da joj je potpuno nerazumljivo zašto smo se u Europi našli u manjini, donekle razumljivim bi smatrala da smo bili suzdržani.

- Hrvatska bi trebala biti za primirje, posebno zbog naše ne tako davne prošlosti - dodaje Benčić, piše Jutarnji list.

Nikola Grmoja iz Mosta također kaže da oni "zagovaraju mirno rješenje sukoba i njihovu deeskalaciju gdje god je to moguće" te smatraju da smo ipak trebali biti suzdržani po tom pitanju.

- Rezolucija koju su gurale muslimanske i arapske zemlje i u kojoj nema osude Hamasa i strašnih terorističkih zločina i u koju nije ušao amandman Kanade o predaji taoca nije se mogla podržati. Zato je trebalo biti suzdržan kao i većina EU zemlja - dodao je Grmoja. 

Joško Klisović iz SDP-a također smatra da smo barem trebali biti suzdržani jer drži kako je cilj ove rezolucije bio da se osigura dostava humanitarne pomoći nevinim ljudima.

- Naravno da treba podržati pravo Izraela da osigura punu sigurnost svojim građanima i da se protiv terorista treba boriti, no ova je rezolucija trebala zaustaviti ratna djelovanja s ciljem da se u ratnu zonu nevinim ljudima dostavi humanitarna pomoć. Jer ako je Kanada glasala suzdržano, zašto smo mi glasali protiv, trebalo je poslati poruku da skrbimo za nevine ljude - kazao je Klisović iz SDP-a. Jedini koji se izjasnio na strani vladajućih od naših sugovornika bio je Stjepo Bartulica iz redova Domovinskog pokreta.

- Smatram da Hrvatska nije mogla podržati rezoluciju koja ne osuđuje terorističke napade Hamasa. Politički gledano, dobro da smo se svrstali uz Sjedinjene Američke Države. Treba podsjetiti da je SAD zaustavio rezoluciju UN-a koja je tražila da prekinemo osloboditeljsku akciju Oluju u kolovozu 1995. S druge strane, Izrael mora strogo paziti da razmjerno koristi vojnu silu kako bi se izbjegnulo stradanje nevinih civila - komentirao je Bartulica iz Domovinskog pokreta, piše Jutarnji list.

Na stav Hrvatske u UN-u negativno su jučer reagirali i iz Socijalističke radničke partije Hrvatske, rekavši:

- Izražavamo zgražanje i najenergičnije osuđujemo, kao i velika većina naših građana, sramotnu odluku hrvatskih vlasti da glasa protiv rezolucije s grotesknim opravdanjima, nasuprot zaustavljanju eklatantnog i još u 21. stoljeću neviđenog genocida nad palestinskim narodom koji se događa pred očima cijelog svijeta i zbog kojeg s pravom traju masovni protesti širom svijeta, zahtijevajući momentalni prekid ratnih operacija - stoji u njihovu priopćenju.

Također dodaju da ih "zabrinjava stupanj sluganstva naše vlade ‘zapadnim partnerima‘ koje nadilazi zdrav razum, pogotovo što smo i sami nedavno imali sve strahote ratnog bezumlja i stradanja velikog broja ljudi, napose nevinih civila". Taj stav Hrvatske na društvenim mrežama komentirao je i odvjetnik Luka Mišetić.

- Ne tako davno, u kasnim satima 4. kolovoza 1995. godine, u NY većina država članica Vijeća sigurnosti bila je za rezoluciju kojom se Hrvatska osuđuje zbog pokretanja operacije Oluja te za humanitarni prekid vatre. Protivljenje Sjedinjenih Država zaustavilo je rezoluciju - napisao je Mišetić.
