KBC Zagreb dobitnik je ovogodišnjeg Medicinskog Oskara za iznimno postignuće u medicini, zbog iznimnog truda liječnika i medicinskih sestara Klinike za ženske bolesti i porode u Petrovoj, u zbrinjavanju malih pacijenata 22. ožujka, nakon snažnog potresa u Zagrebu.

Medicinsko osoblje je tada, uz nesebičnu pomoć dobrovoljaca, uspjelo preseliti i zbrinuti na odgovarajući način svu novorođenčad, nedonoščad u inkubatorima i njihove majke, priopćeno je nakon dodjele priznanja.

Nagrada u posebnoj kategoriji za iznimno postignuće u medicini, kojom se, osim stručnosti, nagrađuje ponajprije briga za bližnjega, pripala im je jer su pokazali veliku stručnost, znanje i organizacijske sposobnosti te veliku solidarnost.

International Medis Awards, u široj javnosti poznat i kao Medicinski Oscar, već sedmu godinu zaredom nagrađuje najbolje liječničke i farmaceutske istraživačke radove i postignuća.

Uz priznanje, KBC-u Zagreb dodijeljena je i donacija tvrtke Medis u obliku uređaja za dekontaminaciju prostora UV-C zrakama, koja je u ovo vrijeme pandemije koronavirusa stigla u pravi čas.

"Zahvaljujem Medisu na donaciji, ali prije svega na priznanju zaposlenicima KBC-a Zagreb na žrtvi, hrabrosti i predanosti u potresu koji se dogodio u Zagrebu i pritom snažno oštetio zgrade našeg centra na čak šest lokacija. Bez obzira na situaciju, naši zaposlenici izvrsno su se snašli i obećavam da ćemo se i ubuduće boriti te pobijediti sve nove izazove", izjavio je ravnatelj KBC-a Zagreb Ante Čorušić.

Pročelnica Zavoda za neonatologiju Petrove bolnice Mirta Starčević podsjetila je kako je u vrijeme potresa, 22. ožujka ove godine, na intenzivnom odjelu bilo 26-ero novorođenčadi, od toga njih osam ispod 1.500 grama porođajne mase.

"Baš se te noći rodilo jedno nedonošče lakše od 1.500 grama, što je po svim kriterijima struke najveći rizik za brojen komplikacije. U trenutku potresa morali smo svi izaći izvan zgade, a najveći problem je bio kako održati tjelesnu temperaturu djece, kako se snaći? Svi liječnici koji nisu taj dan bili dežurni odmah su došli u bolnicu, moram reći da je to bilo pravo ratno stanje. Ono zbog čega smo svi sretni i ponosni jest činjenica da u tim i takvim okolnostima niti jedno dijete nismo izgubili što je zapravo nevjerojatno", rekla je Starčević.

Svake godine za medicinskog Oscara (International Medis Awards ) za najbolji istraživački rad natječu se liječnici i farmaceuti iz devet zemalja: Hrvatske, Austrije, Bosne i Hercegovine, Bugarske, Crne Gore, Mađarske, Sjeverne Makedonije, Slovenije i Srbije.

Oscar je dodijeljen i ove godine u svim uključenim kategorijama: farmaciji, gastroenterologiji, ginekologiji, intenzivnoj medicini i anesteziologiji, neurologiji, oftalmologiji, pedijatriji, pulmologiji i alergologiji te reumatologiji.

KBC Zagreb dobitnik je ovogodišnjeg Medicinskog Oskara za iznimno postignuće u medicini, zbog iznimnog truda liječnika i medicinskih sestara Klinike za ženske bolesti i porode u Petrovoj, u zbrinjavanju malih pacijenata 22. ožujka, nakon snažnog potresa u Zagrebu.

Medicinsko osoblje je tada, uz nesebičnu pomoć dobrovoljaca, uspjelo preseliti i zbrinuti na odgovarajući način svu novorođenčad, nedonoščad u inkubatorima i njihove majke, priopćeno je nakon dodjele priznanja.

Nagrada u posebnoj kategoriji za iznimno postignuće u medicini, kojom se, osim stručnosti, nagrađuje ponajprije briga za bližnjega, pripala im je jer su pokazali veliku stručnost, znanje i organizacijske sposobnosti te veliku solidarnost.

International Medis Awards, u široj javnosti poznat i kao Medicinski Oscar, već sedmu godinu zaredom nagrađuje najbolje liječničke i farmaceutske istraživačke radove i postignuća.

Uz priznanje, KBC-u Zagreb dodijeljena je i donacija tvrtke Medis u obliku uređaja za dekontaminaciju prostora UV-C zrakama, koja je u ovo vrijeme pandemije koronavirusa stigla u pravi čas.

"Zahvaljujem Medisu na donaciji, ali prije svega na priznanju zaposlenicima KBC-a Zagreb na žrtvi, hrabrosti i predanosti u potresu koji se dogodio u Zagrebu i pritom snažno oštetio zgrade našeg centra na čak šest lokacija. Bez obzira na situaciju, naši zaposlenici izvrsno su se snašli i obećavam da ćemo se i ubuduće boriti te pobijediti sve nove izazove", izjavio je ravnatelj KBC-a Zagreb Ante Čorušić.

Pročelnica Zavoda za neonatologiju Petrove bolnice Mirta Starčević podsjetila je kako je u vrijeme potresa, 22. ožujka ove godine, na intenzivnom odjelu bilo 26-ero novorođenčadi, od toga njih osam ispod 1.500 grama porođajne mase.

"Baš se te noći rodilo jedno nedonošče lakše od 1.500 grama, što je po svim kriterijima struke najveći rizik za brojen komplikacije. U trenutku potresa morali smo svi izaći izvan zgade, a najveći problem je bio kako održati tjelesnu temperaturu djece, kako se snaći? Svi liječnici koji nisu taj dan bili dežurni odmah su došli u bolnicu, moram reći da je to bilo pravo ratno stanje. Ono zbog čega smo svi sretni i ponosni jest činjenica da u tim i takvim okolnostima niti jedno dijete nismo izgubili što je zapravo nevjerojatno", rekla je Starčević.

Svake godine za medicinskog Oscara (International Medis Awards ) za najbolji istraživački rad natječu se liječnici i farmaceuti iz devet zemalja: Hrvatske, Austrije, Bosne i Hercegovine, Bugarske, Crne Gore, Mađarske, Sjeverne Makedonije, Slovenije i Srbije.

Oscar je dodijeljen i ove godine u svim uključenim kategorijama: farmaciji, gastroenterologiji, ginekologiji, intenzivnoj medicini i anesteziologiji, neurologiji, oftalmologiji, pedijatriji, pulmologiji i alergologiji te reumatologiji.

KBC Zagreb dobitnik je ovogodišnjeg Medicinskog Oskara za iznimno postignuće u medicini, zbog iznimnog truda liječnika i medicinskih sestara Klinike za ženske bolesti i porode u Petrovoj, u zbrinjavanju malih pacijenata 22. ožujka, nakon snažnog potresa u Zagrebu.

Medicinsko osoblje je tada, uz nesebičnu pomoć dobrovoljaca, uspjelo preseliti i zbrinuti na odgovarajući način svu novorođenčad, nedonoščad u inkubatorima i njihove majke, priopćeno je nakon dodjele priznanja.

Nagrada u posebnoj kategoriji za iznimno postignuće u medicini, kojom se, osim stručnosti, nagrađuje ponajprije briga za bližnjega, pripala im je jer su pokazali veliku stručnost, znanje i organizacijske sposobnosti te veliku solidarnost.
