Veleposlanik SR Njemačke u Hrvatskoj Robert Klinke uručio je u četvrtak potpredsjedniku Vlade RH i ministru unutarnjih poslova Davoru Božinoviću njemačku donaciju 10 kombi i 10 terenskih vozila za potrebe hrvatske granične policije u vrijednosti od 835.000 eura.

''Savezno ministarstvo unutarnjih poslova Njemačke je od 2000. kroz razne donacije hrvatskoj policiji doniralo materijalnih i tehničkih sredstava u vrijednosti od 3,1 milijun eura i na tom smo zahvalni'', kazao je Božinović u Ravnateljstvu policije naglasivši kako je Njemačka među najboljim poznavateljima rada hrvatske granične policije.

Božinović je prilikom primopredaje istaknuo da su njemački savezni ministar unutarnjih poslova Horst Seehofer i vlada SR Njemačke u više navrata javno iskazali svoju zahvalnost svemu onome što hrvatska policija čini u zaštiti hrvatske granice, ali i najduže vanjske granice EU, prije svega u sprečavanju ilegalnih migracija.

''Da hrvatska policija tako efikasno ne sprječava ilegalne migracije, one bi se prelile dalje na teritorij EU pa sve do Njemačke'', naglasio je Božinović. Pritom je podržao tezu o stalnom pritisku ilegalnih migracija na Hrvatsku statističkim pokazateljima iz kojih se ''jasno iščitava da se u ovoj godini, unatoč dvomjesečnom smirivanju tijekom proljetnog globalnog lockdowna, migrantski val intenzivirao toliko da je sada za nekih 42 posto veći nego što je bio godinu dana ranije''.

Veleposlanik Klinke je ocijenio da je hrvatska granica, koja je ujedno i vanjska granica EU, pod velikim migracijskim pritiskom, što pogotovo vrijedi za hrvatsku kopnenu granicu s Bosnom i Hercegovinom.

''Danas smo ovdje kako bismo osigurali da hrvatska policija može na odgovarajući način ispuniti svoje odgovorne zadaće. Želimo doprinijeti da se hrvatska granična policija može slobodno kretati na svojem terenu na kojem radi i jako je bitno da na svojem terenu djeluje pod okriljem hrvatskog, europskog i međunarodnog prava'', zaključio je Klinke izrazivši želju za daljnjom suradnjom u bilateralnom smislu i u sklopu Europske unije.

Preuzeta vozila doprinijet će mobilnosti, učinkovitosti i boljoj pokrivenosti terena pri nadzoru državne, ujedno i najduže vanjske kopnene granice EU i to posebice na teško pristupačnim, brdovitim, šumskim i planinskim dijelovima, kao i u akcijama spašavanja života ugroženih migranata na takvim područjima. Uz to, utjecat će i na suzbijanje ilegalnih migracija i s njima povezanih krijumčarskih lanaca, ističu u MUP-u.

Veleposlanik SR Njemačke u Hrvatskoj Robert Klinke uručio je u četvrtak potpredsjedniku Vlade RH i ministru unutarnjih poslova Davoru Božinoviću njemačku donaciju 10 kombi i 10 terenskih vozila za potrebe hrvatske granične policije u vrijednosti od 835.000 eura.

''Savezno ministarstvo unutarnjih poslova Njemačke je od 2000. kroz razne donacije hrvatskoj policiji doniralo materijalnih i tehničkih sredstava u vrijednosti od 3,1 milijun eura i na tom smo zahvalni'', kazao je Božinović u Ravnateljstvu policije naglasivši kako je Njemačka među najboljim poznavateljima rada hrvatske granične policije.

Božinović je prilikom primopredaje istaknuo da su njemački savezni ministar unutarnjih poslova Horst Seehofer i vlada SR Njemačke u više navrata javno iskazali svoju zahvalnost svemu onome što hrvatska policija čini u zaštiti hrvatske granice, ali i najduže vanjske granice EU, prije svega u sprečavanju ilegalnih migracija.

''Da hrvatska policija tako efikasno ne sprječava ilegalne migracije, one bi se prelile dalje na teritorij EU pa sve do Njemačke'', naglasio je Božinović. Pritom je podržao tezu o stalnom pritisku ilegalnih migracija na Hrvatsku statističkim pokazateljima iz kojih se ''jasno iščitava da se u ovoj godini, unatoč dvomjesečnom smirivanju tijekom proljetnog globalnog lockdowna, migrantski val intenzivirao toliko da je sada za nekih 42 posto veći nego što je bio godinu dana ranije''.

Veleposlanik Klinke je ocijenio da je hrvatska granica, koja je ujedno i vanjska granica EU, pod velikim migracijskim pritiskom, što pogotovo vrijedi za hrvatsku kopnenu granicu s Bosnom i Hercegovinom.

''Danas smo ovdje kako bismo osigurali da hrvatska policija može na odgovarajući način ispuniti svoje odgovorne zadaće. Želimo doprinijeti da se hrvatska granična policija može slobodno kretati na svojem terenu na kojem radi i jako je bitno da na svojem terenu djeluje pod okriljem hrvatskog, europskog i međunarodnog prava'', zaključio je Klinke izrazivši želju za daljnjom suradnjom u bilateralnom smislu i u sklopu Europske unije.

Preuzeta vozila doprinijet će mobilnosti, učinkovitosti i boljoj pokrivenosti terena pri nadzoru državne, ujedno i najduže vanjske kopnene granice EU i to posebice na teško pristupačnim, brdovitim, šumskim i planinskim dijelovima, kao i u akcijama spašavanja života ugroženih migranata na takvim područjima. Uz to, utjecat će i na suzbijanje ilegalnih migracija i s njima povezanih krijumčarskih lanaca, ističu u MUP-u.
