Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović uskoro će otputovati SAD, kako bi posjetila kćer Katarinu koja studira na Harvardu, a možda će tom prilikom obaviti i određene razgovore vezane za svoju buduću karijeru, piše Novi list.

Nakon što joj je završio mandat predsjednice Republike, ona je aktivirala opciju na osnovu koje pola godine ima pravo na plaću u visini 24 tisuće kuna te zatim još šest mjeseci 50 posto od tog iznosa.

Ostaje za vidjeti hoće li do kraja koristiti ovu mogućnost jer je Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović sama nedavno izjavila da je dosad već dobila puno poslovnih ponuda.

Među njima je, doznaje Novi list, i ona američkog Brookings instituta, koju bivša predsjednica nije prihvatila. Bila je to vrlo konkretna ponuda s definiranim godišnjim primanjima, ali Kolindi Grabar-Kitarović, doznaje Novi list, nije bila dovoljno privlačna.

Brookings institut, sa sjedištem u Washingtonu, jedan je od najuglednijih liberalnih think tankova i postoji već više od 100 godina. Kako se navodi na njihovoj interetskoj stranici, bave se dubinskim istraživanjima koja vode novim idejama za rješavanje problema s kojima se društvo suočava na lokalnoj, nacionalnoj i globalnoj razini.

Institut okuplja preko 300 stručnjaka iz cijelog svijeta. Predsjednik Brookingsa je od 2017. umirovljeni američki general John Allen, kojeg je Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović kao predsjednica primila sredinom 2015. u ulozi posebnog izaslanika predsjednika SAD-a za globalnu koaliciju u borbi protiv Islamske države, a u rujnu 2018. on ju je ugostio u svom institutu.

Tema javnog razgovora njih dvoje bila je tada 'Hrvatski doprinos transatlantskim vezama i solidarnosti: Djelovanje iznad svoje kategorije'. Kako je nedugo prije toga hrvatska nogometna reprezentacija igrala u finalu Svjetskog prvenstva, Allen je jako hvalio ponašanje predsjednice Republike na tom natjecanju.

Izrazio je nadu u uspostavu suradnje instituta i Hrvatske, a Kolindi Grabar-Kitarović je i darovao - kišobran. Allenu, naime, nije promaklo da je ona pokisla tijekom finalne utakmice s Francuskom, pa joj je darovao kišobran s logom Brookings instituta, kako joj se to ubuduće ne bi događalo.

- Želimo da vam Brookings bude iznad glave i brine o vama, rekao je Allen predsjednici Hrvatske, predajući joj kišobran.

Nije isključeno da će Grabar-Kitarović u budućnosti surađivati s Brookingsom, ali, prema neslužbenim informacijama, trenutačno nije zainteresirana za posao kod njih. Podsjetimo, bivša predsjednica zatražila je od Vlade Andreja Plenkovića da joj pronađe prostorije u kojima će biti njezin Ured, te je u tu svrhu određena državna rezidencija u Visokoj ulici.

Kako doznaje Novi list od ljudi koji su joj bili suradnici na Pantovčaku, ona ima dvije ozbiljne ponude za predavanja na stranim sveučilištima o temama iz međunarodnih odnosa i to u trajanju od jednog semestra.

Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović uskoro će otputovati SAD, kako bi posjetila kćer Katarinu koja studira na Harvardu, a možda će tom prilikom obaviti i određene razgovore vezane za svoju buduću karijeru, piše Novi list.

Nakon što joj je završio mandat predsjednice Republike, ona je aktivirala opciju na osnovu koje pola godine ima pravo na plaću u visini 24 tisuće kuna te zatim još šest mjeseci 50 posto od tog iznosa.

Ostaje za vidjeti hoće li do kraja koristiti ovu mogućnost jer je Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović sama nedavno izjavila da je dosad već dobila puno poslovnih ponuda.

Među njima je, doznaje Novi list, i ona američkog Brookings instituta, koju bivša predsjednica nije prihvatila. Bila je to vrlo konkretna ponuda s definiranim godišnjim primanjima, ali Kolindi Grabar-Kitarović, doznaje Novi list, nije bila dovoljno privlačna.

Brookings institut, sa sjedištem u Washingtonu, jedan je od najuglednijih liberalnih think tankova i postoji već više od 100 godina. Kako se navodi na njihovoj interetskoj stranici, bave se dubinskim istraživanjima koja vode novim idejama za rješavanje problema s kojima se društvo suočava na lokalnoj, nacionalnoj i globalnoj razini.

Institut okuplja preko 300 stručnjaka iz cijelog svijeta. Predsjednik Brookingsa je od 2017. umirovljeni američki general John Allen, kojeg je Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović kao predsjednica primila sredinom 2015. u ulozi posebnog izaslanika predsjednika SAD-a za globalnu koaliciju u borbi protiv Islamske države, a u rujnu 2018. on ju je ugostio u svom institutu.

Tema javnog razgovora njih dvoje bila je tada 'Hrvatski doprinos transatlantskim vezama i solidarnosti: Djelovanje iznad svoje kategorije'. Kako je nedugo prije toga hrvatska nogometna reprezentacija igrala u finalu Svjetskog prvenstva, Allen je jako hvalio ponašanje predsjednice Republike na tom natjecanju.

Izrazio je nadu u uspostavu suradnje instituta i Hrvatske, a Kolindi Grabar-Kitarović je i darovao - kišobran. Allenu, naime, nije promaklo da je ona pokisla tijekom finalne utakmice s Francuskom, pa joj je darovao kišobran s logom Brookings instituta, kako joj se to ubuduće ne bi događalo.

- Želimo da vam Brookings bude iznad glave i brine o vama, rekao je Allen predsjednici Hrvatske, predajući joj kišobran.

Nije isključeno da će Grabar-Kitarović u budućnosti surađivati s Brookingsom, ali, prema neslužbenim informacijama, trenutačno nije zainteresirana za posao kod njih. Podsjetimo, bivša predsjednica zatražila je od Vlade Andreja Plenkovića da joj pronađe prostorije u kojima će biti njezin Ured, te je u tu svrhu određena državna rezidencija u Visokoj ulici.

Kako doznaje Novi list od ljudi koji su joj bili suradnici na Pantovčaku, ona ima dvije ozbiljne ponude za predavanja na stranim sveučilištima o temama iz međunarodnih odnosa i to u trajanju od jednog semestra.

Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović uskoro će otputovati SAD, kako bi posjetila kćer Katarinu koja studira na Harvardu, a možda će tom prilikom obaviti i određene razgovore vezane za svoju buduću karijeru, piše Novi list.

Nakon što joj je završio mandat predsjednice Republike, ona je aktivirala opciju na osnovu koje pola godine ima pravo na plaću u visini 24 tisuće kuna te zatim još šest mjeseci 50 posto od tog iznosa.

Ostaje za vidjeti hoće li do kraja koristiti ovu mogućnost jer je Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović sama nedavno izjavila da je dosad već dobila puno poslovnih ponuda.

Među njima je, doznaje Novi list, i ona američkog Brookings instituta, koju bivša predsjednica nije prihvatila. Bila je to vrlo konkretna ponuda s definiranim godišnjim primanjima, ali Kolindi Grabar-Kitarović,...
