Voditelj Službe za sigurnost cestovnog prometa MUP-a Josip Mataija u Otvorenom HTV-a je rekao da se daleko najveći broj nesreća događa zbog ljudskog faktora.
"Uz kombinaciju lošije prometnice, lošijeg asfalta ili nedovoljne signalizacije, lošeg vozila, naša istraživanja pokazuju da je čovjek ipak ključan. Razlog zašto se događa najveći broj prometnih nesreća je grubo kršenje prometnih propisa", ustvrdio je.
Kaže su za novogodišnji vikend imali 90-ak prometnih nesreća.
"Imali smo ukupno 90-ak prometnih nesreća. Nažalost, ova je bila najteža. U jednoj prometnoj nesreći tri smrtno stradala, i to mlada života. Osim toga, imali smo 16 prometnih nesreća s ozlijeđenim osobama, dok su ostale prometne nesreće na sreću bile samo s materijalnom štetom. Da nije bilo ove najteže prometne nesreće, mogli bismo reći da je vikend, s obzirom na blagdane i slavlja, prošao relativno mirno. Međutim, kad se izgube tri mlada života, moram reći - nepotrebno, onda moramo reći da se dogodila tragedija", rekao je Mataija.
Ističe kako je u usporedbi s 2020. u 2021. godini došlo do pogoršanja svih statističkih pokazatelja.
"Imamo 20% više prometnih nesreća, 20% više lako ozlijeđenih osoba i, ono što je najgore - imamo 55 više smrtno stradalih osoba u 2021. u odnosu na 2020. Međutim, svi znamo kakva je bila 2020., pandemijska godina, godina s puno ograničenja, godina i s manjim brojem vozila i s manjim brojem turista, bile su propusnice. Ali ako 2021. usporedimo s 2019., onda ipak imamo određeno poboljšanje - u 2021. smrtno su stradale 292 osobe, dok je u 2019. smrtno stradalo 297 osoba", rekao je Mataija, dodavši da nam je protekla godina druga po najmanjem broju smrtno stradalih osoba.
No, kaže, prošle su godine zabilježili veći broj stradavanja biciklista i motociklista. Kaže kako se čeka da izmjene i dopune Zakona o sigurnosti prometa na cestama dođu na dnevni red saborske sjednice.
"Bit će dva čitanja, ali mi se nadamo da bi s proljećem zakon stupio na snagu. Zbog novih prijevoznih sredstava, a tu ne mislim samo na električne romobile, mi smo morali uvesti jednu novu kategoriju - osobna prijevozna sredstva - i ovim smo zakonom morali regulirati načine na koje će oni prometovati i uvjete koji će trebati vozačima da mogu upravljati tim prijevoznim sredstvima.
No taj zakon ima i nekih drugih promjena - povisili smo kaznu za neprilagođenu brzinu s 500 na 1000 kn. Osim toga, uvodimo i jednu obvezu liječnicima da, ako kod vozača dođe do privremene promjene zdravstvenoga stanja, najduže na 6 mjeseci, zbog koje on nije u stanju sigurno upravljati vozilom, liječnik mu to mora reći, upozoriti ga, to evidentirati u medicinsku dokumentaciju i to upisati u centralni zdravstveni informacijski sustav, a mi ćemo imati informaciju o tome", istaknuo je Mataija, dodavši da policija neće imati uvida u to o kojim se dijagnozama radi.
"Koje će to zdravstvene dijagnoze biti, to će se naknadno utvrditi dopunama Pravilnika o zdravstvenim pregledima vozača i kandidata za vozače koje će donijeti Ministarstvo zdravstva", dodao je.

Voditelj Službe za sigurnost cestovnog prometa MUP-a Josip Mataija u Otvorenom HTV-a je rekao da se daleko najveći broj nesreća događa zbog ljudskog faktora.
"Uz kombinaciju lošije prometnice, lošijeg asfalta ili nedovoljne signalizacije, lošeg vozila, naša istraživanja pokazuju da je čovjek ipak ključan. Razlog zašto se događa najveći broj prometnih nesreća je grubo kršenje prometnih propisa", ustvrdio je.
Kaže su za novogodišnji vikend imali 90-ak prometnih nesreća.
"Imali smo ukupno 90-ak prometnih nesreća. Nažalost, ova je bila najteža. U jednoj prometnoj nesreći tri smrtno stradala, i to mlada života. Osim toga, imali smo 16 prometnih nesreća s ozlijeđenim osobama, dok su ostale prometne nesreće na sreću bile samo s materijalnom štetom. Međutim, kad se izgube tri mlada života, moram reći - nepotrebno, onda moramo reći da se dogodila tragedija", rekao je Mataija.
Ističe kako je u usporedbi s 2020. u 2021. godini došlo do pogoršanja svih statističkih pokazatelja.
"Imamo 20% više prometnih nesreća, 20% više lako ozlijeđenih osoba i, ono što je najgore - imamo 55 više smrtno stradalih osoba u 2021. u odnosu na 2020. Međutim, svi znamo kakva je bila 2020., pandemijska godina, godina s puno ograničenja, godina i s manjim brojem vozila i s manjim brojem turista, bile su propusnice. Ali ako 2021. usporedimo s 2019., onda ipak imamo određeno poboljšanje - u 2021. smrtno su stradale 292 osobe, dok je u 2019. smrtno stradalo 297 osoba", rekao je Mataija, dodavši da nam je protekla godina druga po najmanjem broju smrtno stradalih osoba.
No, kaže, prošle su godine zabilježili veći broj stradavanja biciklista i motociklista. Kaže kako se čeka da izmjene i dopune Zakona o sigurnosti prometa na cestama dođu na dnevni red saborske sjednice.
"Bit će dva čitanja, ali mi se nadamo da bi s proljećem zakon stupio na snagu. Zbog novih prijevoznih sredstava, a tu ne mislim samo na električne romobile, mi smo morali uvesti jednu novu kategoriju - osobna prijevozna sredstva - i ovim smo zakonom morali regulirati načine na koje će oni prometovati i uvjete koji će trebati vozačima da mogu upravljati tim prijevoznim sredstvima.
No taj zakon ima i nekih drugih promjena - povisili smo kaznu za neprilagođenu brzinu s 500 na 1000 kn. Osim toga, uvodimo i jednu obvezu liječnicima da, ako kod vozača dođe do privremene promjene zdravstvenoga stanja, najduže na 6 mjeseci, zbog koje on nije u stanju sigurno upravljati vozilom, liječnik mu to mora reći, upozoriti ga, to evidentirati u medicinsku dokumentaciju i to upisati u centralni zdravstveni informacijski sustav, a mi ćemo imati informaciju o tome", istaknuo je Mataija, dodavši da policija neće imati uvida u to o kojim se dijagnozama radi.
"Koje će to zdravstvene dijagnoze biti, to će se naknadno utvrditi dopunama Pravilnika o zdravstvenim pregledima vozača i kandidata za vozače koje će donijeti Ministarstvo zdravstva", dodao je.
