Od početka godine u zatvorskom sustavu Hrvatskoj preminulo je 14 osoba od kojih šest u Zatvoru u Zagrebu, saznajemo od Ministarstvo pravosuđa i uprave. Upravo zagrebački zatvor je došao pod povećalo javnosti kada je početkom ovog mjeseca umro istražni zatvorenik čijom smrću je nastavljen niz slučajeva evidentiranih u toj ustanovi od početka 2021. godine.

Odmah nakon smrti iz nadležnog ministarstva su službeno potvrdili da na tijelu nije bilo tragova nasilja, ali unatoč tome za otklanjanje svih sumnji čeka se nalaz obdukcije. Točan uzrok bit će poznat tek nakon pregleda tijela i obavljenih patohistoloških pretraga.

Kao i uvijek, svaka smrt ili ozljeđivanje unutar zatvorskog sustava su sumnjivi. Često se nikada ne saznaju sve okolnosti koje su prethodile kobnom događaju.

- U vremenskom razdoblju od 01. siječnja 2021. godine do 01. svibnja 2021. godine u zatvorskom sustavu Republike Hrvatske preminulo je ukupno 14 osoba kojima je oduzeta sloboda. Od toga broja u Zatvoru u Zagrebu, u predmetnom vremenskom razdoblju, preminulo je šest osoba kojima je oduzeta sloboda - naveli su od Ministarstvo pravosuđa i uprave.

U smrti u Remetincu ubrojeni su i slučajevi Ivice R. (39) koji je umro krajem ožujka, jedan dan nakon što je primljen na izdržavanje kazne. Mjesec dana ranije, također dan nakon što je evidentiran u zatvoru, u bolnici je preminuo je Stjepan P. (79).

Zagrebački zatvor dodatno je opterećen jer se u njemu nalazi i Centar za dijagnostiku, koji je posebna ustrojstvena jedinica u okviru zatvora. Sve osobe lišene slobode koje idu na odsluženje kazne prvo idu u navedeni centar u kojem stručne službe procjenjuju u koji zatvor ili kaznionicu će ih se uputiti.

Kada je osoba osuđena na kaznu do pola godine, ide u zatvor u mjestu prebivališta ili najbliži tome. Kod viših kazni odluka o mjestu odsluženja donosi se u Centru, a procjena traje mjesec dana. Zbog toga je taj dio zatvora uvijek prekapacitiran te je u ćelijama smješteno i po 12 osoba.

Neuvjetni smještaj, pogotovo u vrijeme epidemije, često je bio tema pritužbi osoba koje su provele vrijeme u Remetincu. Spominjalo se i kako se prikriva pravo stanje vezano za zarazu koronavirusom, iako je činjenica da u zagrebačkom zatvoru nikada nije došlo do izbijanja zaraze kod većeg broja zatvorenika.

Najkritičnija situacija sa zarazom COVID-19 dogodila se ove godine u Zatvoru u Splitu, ali na sreću nitko nije podlegao bolesti. Polovicom ožujka ove godine imali su na splitskim Bilicama 56 zaraženih, od toga 41 osoba lišena slobode i 15 službenika zatvora.

Jedan 73-godišnji istražni zatvorenik tada je završio u KBC Split, a do danas nije vraćen u ćeliju u splitskom zatvoru. U međuvremenu je sproveden u Bolnicu za osobe lišene slobode u Zagrebu, vjerojatno zbog otežanog oporavka jer je i prije zaraze COVID-om 19 imao zdravstvenih problema.

Od početka godine nema podataka da je u splitskom zatvoru preminuo iti jedna osoba lišena slobode, ali preminuo je jedan njihov istražni zatvorenik, 50-godišnjak iz Splita koji je bio poslan u Neuropsihijatrijsku bolnicu u Popovači.

Polovicom veljače je zbog duševnih smetnji poslan u navedenu ustanovu u kojoj je preminuo nakon deset dana. Okolnosti smrti nisu nikada istraživane.

Uprava za zatvorski sustav smatra kako oni nisu dužni išta istraživati jer je osoba preminula van njihovog sustava, a državno odvjetništvo u Sisku koje je nadležno za Popovaču kaže kao ih nitko nije obavijestio ili podnio kaznenu prijavu. Novinarski upit očito ne smatraju mjerodavnom obavijesti.

Od početka godine u zatvorskom sustavu Hrvatskoj preminulo je 14 osoba od kojih šest u Zatvoru u Zagrebu, saznajemo od Ministarstvo pravosuđa i uprave. Upravo zagrebački zatvor je došao pod povećalo javnosti kada je početkom ovog mjeseca umro istražni zatvorenik čijom smrću je nastavljen niz slučajeva evidentiranih u toj ustanovi od početka 2021. godine.

Odmah nakon smrti iz nadležnog ministarstva su službeno potvrdili da na tijelu nije bilo tragova nasilja, ali unatoč tome za otklanjanje svih sumnji čeka se nalaz obdukcije. Točan uzrok bit će poznat tek nakon pregleda tijela i obavljenih patohistoloških pretraga.

Kao i uvijek, svaka smrt ili ozljeđivanje unutar zatvorskog sustava su sumnjivi. Često se nikada ne saznaju sve okolnosti koje su prethodile kobnom događaju.

- U vremenskom razdoblju od 01. siječnja 2021. godine do 01. svibnja 2021. godine u zatvorskom sustavu Republike Hrvatske preminulo je ukupno 14 osoba kojima je oduzeta sloboda. Od toga broja u Zatvoru u Zagrebu, u predmetnom vremenskom razdoblju, preminulo je šest osoba kojima je oduzeta sloboda - naveli su od Ministarstvo pravosuđa i uprave.

U smrti u Remetincu ubrojeni su i slučajevi Ivice R. (39) koji je umro krajem ožujka, jedan dan nakon što je primljen na izdržavanje kazne. Mjesec dana ranije, također dan nakon što je evidentiran u zatvoru, u bolnici je preminuo je Stjepan P. (79).

Zagrebački zatvor dodatno je opterećen jer se u njemu nalazi i Centar za dijagnostiku, koji je posebna ustrojstvena jedinica u okviru zatvora. Sve osobe lišene slobode koje idu na odsluženje kazne prvo idu u navedeni centar u kojem stručne službe procjenjuju u koji zatvor ili kaznionicu će ih se uputiti.

Kada je osoba osuđena na kaznu do pola godine, ide u zatvor u mjestu prebivališta ili najbliži tome. Kod viših kazni odluka o mjestu odsluženja donosi se u Centru, a procjena traje mjesec dana. Zbog toga je taj dio zatvora uvijek prekapacitiran te je u ćelijama smješteno i po 12 osoba.

Neuvjetni smještaj, pogotovo u vrijeme epidemije, često je bio tema pritužbi osoba koje su provele vrijeme u Remetincu. Spominjalo se i kako se prikriva pravo stanje vezano za zarazu koronavirusom, iako je činjenica da u zagrebačkom zatvoru nikada nije došlo do izbijanja zaraze kod većeg broja zatvorenika.

Najkritičnija situacija sa zarazom COVID-19 dogodila se ove godine u Zatvoru u Splitu, ali na sreću nitko nije podlegao bolesti. Polovicom ožujka ove godine imali su na splitskim Bilicama 56 zaraženih, od toga 41 osoba lišena slobode i 15 službenika zatvora.

Jedan 73-godišnji istražni zatvorenik tada je završio u KBC Split, a do danas nije vraćen u ćeliju u splitskom zatvoru. U međuvremenu je sproveden u Bolnicu za osobe lišene slobode u Zagrebu, vjerojatno zbog otežanog oporavka jer je i prije zaraze COVID-om 19 imao zdravstvenih problema.

Od početka godine nema podataka da je u splitskom zatvoru preminuo iti jedna osoba lišena slobode, ali preminuo je jedan njihov istražni zatvorenik, 50-godišnjak iz Splita koji je bio poslan u Neuropsihijatrijsku bolnicu u Popovači.

Polovicom veljače je zbog duševnih smetnji poslan u navedenu ustanovu u kojoj je preminuo nakon deset dana. Okolnosti smrti nisu nikada istraživane.

Uprava za zatvorski sustav smatra kako oni nisu dužni išta istraživati jer je osoba preminula van njihovog sustava, a državno odvjetništvo u Sisku koje je nadležno za Popovaču kaže kao ih nitko nije obavijestio ili podnio kaznenu prijavu. Novinarski upit očito ne smatraju mjerodavnom obavijesti.
