Rimac nije prodao svih 150 primjeraka svog električnog hiperautomobila Nevera, a njen nasljednik vjerojatno neće biti električno vozilo. Nevera je predstavljena 2021. kao evolucija koncepta C_Two od 1888 konjskih snaga, uz prve isporuke kasnije te godine i planiranom proizvodnjom od 150 vozila, prenosi Autocar.

Hrvatska tvrtka još uvijek nije prodala spomenuti broj automobila, što predsjednik Uprave Mate Rimac pripisuje padu potražnje za ultra-high-end električnim vozilima.

“Počeli smo razvijati Neveru 2016./2017., kada je elektrika bila cool", rekao je na konferenciji Financial Times Future of the Car u Londonu.

Od tada je, nastavio je Rimac, tržišno okruženje evoluiralo, a ukusi su se mijenjali jer nacionalna zakonodavstva i glavni proizvođači automobila nastoje učiniti električne automobile mainstreamom.

“Regulatorna tijela i neki proizvođači originalne opreme toliko to guraju da se priča promijenila. Naturaju nam stvari koje ne želimo, pa se ljudi pomalo odmiču od cijele te prisilne primjene. Uvijek sam protiv toga. Mislim da se sve mora temeljiti na dobrim karakteristikama. Stoga proizvod mora biti bolji”, objasnio je Rimac.

Nevera je djelomično razvijena kao primjer onoga što se može postići s motorima i baterijama u doba kada je tehnologija još bila u povoju i kada su je glavni proizvođači tek trebali u potpunosti prihvatiti.

“U to vrijeme mislili smo da će električni automobili biti cool u roku od nekoliko godina - najbolji automobili ili s najboljim performansama i tako dalje. Sada primjećujemo da se ljudi na vrhu ovog sektora žele razlikovati kako elektrifikacija postaje mainstream”, kaže Rimac.

To se uglavnom očituje u želji za analognom tehnologijom i pogonima na unutarnje sagorijevanje, sugerirao je hrvatski poduzetnik, koristeći analogiju da vrhunski analogni satovi zahtijevaju nekoliko puta više novca od sposobnijih i popularnijih pametnih satova.

“Apple Watch može sve bolje. Može još 1000 stvari, puno je precizniji, može mjeriti otkucaje srca. Ali nitko ne bi platio 200.000 dolara za Apple Watch. Imamo tržište za Neveru, to je najprodavaniji električni hiperautomobil. Već smo isporučili više od 50 automobila od ukupno 150”, rekao je Rimac i dodao: “Da smo stvorili električni Bugatti, prodali bismo ih određenu količinu, sigurno, zbog brenda, ali ta količina ne bi bila ni blizu procijenjenoj količini koju će prodati V16 motor Chironova nasljednika”.

Rimac je rekao da ne vidi oporavak potražnje za električnim hiperautomobilima jer će u segmentima mainstream automobila biti određene lojalnosti prema pojedinačnim brendovima i tehnologijama pogona, ali segmenti automobila visoke klase zahtijevaju visoku razinu diferencijacije i analogne privlačnosti.

“Mislim da postoji tržišna niša za stvari koje se ne mogu raditi s motorom s unutarnjim izgaranjem. Ne radi se o tome da budemo električni; radi se o tome da radimo stvari koje drugi automobili ne mogu i da pružamo jedinstveno iskustvo”, rekao je Rimac.

Rimac je nedavno otkrio Autocaru da njegova tvrtka istražuje može li njihov sljedeći automobil koristiti revolucionarnu tehnologiju nanocijevi, pri čemu se “kemijski različita” tekuća goriva mogu koristiti za proizvodnju električne energije za pogon motora, napuštajući tako konvencionalni raspored baterija.

“Naša kompanija nije isključivo električna, nego radi sve što je najuzbudljivije u određenom trenutku”, rekao je Rimac, navodeći LPG, vodik, pa čak i dizel kao potencijalna goriva koja bi se mogla koristiti u ovoj postavci.

U međuvremenu ne vidi “nikakav razlog” da Bugatti, koji je Rimac kupio od Volkswagen grupe 2021. godine, prestane prodavati automobile s motorima na unutarnje sagorijevanje u skoroj budućnosti: “Razvili smo novi V16 motor i želimo koristiti taj motor neko vrijeme, a možda i neke druge motore i ne vidim razlog zašto bi to bilo nemoguće”.

Rimac nije prodao svih 150 primjeraka svog električnog hiperautomobila Nevera, a njen nasljednik vjerojatno neće biti električno vozilo. Nevera je predstavljena 2021. kao evolucija koncepta C_Two od 1888 konjskih snaga, uz prve isporuke kasnije te godine i planiranom proizvodnjom od 150 vozila, prenosi Autocar.

Hrvatska tvrtka još uvijek nije prodala spomenuti broj automobila, što predsjednik Uprave Mate Rimac pripisuje padu potražnje za ultra-high-end električnim vozilima.

“Počeli smo razvijati Neveru 2016./2017., kada je elektrika bila cool", rekao je na konferenciji Financial Times Future of the Car u Londonu.

Od tada je, nastavio je Rimac, tržišno okruženje evoluiralo, a ukusi su se mijenjali jer nacionalna zakonodavstva i glavni proizvođači automobila nastoje učiniti električne automobile mainstreamom.

“Regulatorna tijela i neki proizvođači originalne opreme toliko to guraju da se priča promijenila. Naturaju nam stvari koje ne želimo, pa se ljudi pomalo odmiču od cijele te prisilne primjene. Uvijek sam protiv toga. Mislim da se sve mora temeljiti na dobrim karakteristikama. Stoga proizvod mora biti bolji”, objasnio je Rimac.

Nevera je djelomično razvijena kao primjer onoga što se može postići s motorima i baterijama u doba kada je tehnologija još bila u povoju i kada su je glavni proizvođači tek trebali u potpunosti prihvatiti.

"Elektrifikacija postaje mainstream, a ljudi se žele razlikovati"

“U to vrijeme mislili smo da će električni automobili biti cool u roku od nekoliko godina - najbolji automobili ili s najboljim performansama i tako dalje. Sada primjećujemo da se ljudi na vrhu ovog sektora žele razlikovati kako elektrifikacija postaje mainstream”, kaže Rimac.

To se uglavnom očituje u želji za analognom tehnologijom i pogonima na unutarnje sagorijevanje, sugerirao je hrvatski poduzetnik, koristeći analogiju da vrhunski analogni satovi zahtijevaju nekoliko puta više novca od sposobnijih i popularnijih pametnih satova.

“Apple Watch može sve bolje. Može još 1000 stvari, puno je precizniji, može mjeriti otkucaje srca. Ali nitko ne bi platio 200.000 dolara za Apple Watch. Imamo tržište za Neveru, to je najprodavaniji električni hiperautomobil. Već smo isporučili više od 50 automobila od ukupno 150”, rekao je Rimac i dodao: “Da smo stvorili električni Bugatti, prodali bismo ih određenu količinu, sigurno, zbog brenda, ali ta količina ne bi bila ni blizu procijenjenoj količini koju će prodati V16 motor Chironova nasljednika”.

Rimac je rekao da ne vidi oporavak potražnje za električnim hiperautomobilima jer će u segmentima mainstream automobila biti određene lojalnosti prema pojedinačnim brendovima i tehnologijama pogona, ali segmenti automobila visoke klase zahtijevaju visoku razinu diferencijacije i analogne privlačnosti.

“Mislim da postoji tržišna niša za stvari koje se ne mogu raditi s motorom s unutarnjim izgaranjem. Ne radi se o tome da budemo električni; radi se o tome da radimo stvari koje drugi automobili ne mogu i da pružamo jedinstveno iskustvo”, rekao je Rimac.

Rimac je nedavno otkrio Autocaru da njegova tvrtka istražuje može li njihov sljedeći automobil koristiti revolucionarnu tehnologiju nanocijevi, pri čemu se “kemijski različita” tekuća goriva mogu koristiti za proizvodnju električne energije za pogon motora, napuštajući tako konvencionalni raspored baterija.

“Naša kompanija nije isključivo električna, nego radi sve što je najuzbudljivije u određenom trenutku”, rekao je Rimac, navodeći LPG, vodik, pa čak i dizel kao potencijalna goriva koja bi se mogla koristiti u ovoj postavci.

U međuvremenu ne vidi “nikakav razlog” da Bugatti, koji je Rimac kupio od Volkswagen grupe 2021. godine, prestane prodavati automobile s motorima na unutarnje sagorijevanje u skoroj budućnosti: “Razvili smo novi V16 motor i želimo koristiti taj motor neko vrijeme, a možda i neke druge motore i ne vidim razlog zašto bi to bilo nemoguće”.
