Na bazenu u Poljudu čeka nas danas s početkom u 19 sati repriza prošlog kola LEN Lige prvaka, samo je ovog puta domaćin Jadran, a moćna Brescia dolazi u Split kao gost.

Prošla je utakmica bila doista posebna, obje su momčadi imale velikih problema s COVID-19 virusom, Talijani nisu niti imali pun zapisnik, dok su i jadranaši bili oslabljeni, a i niz bitnih igrača netom je bio prebolio koronavirus. Stoga je i utakmica bila neobična, s jako malo golova, a pobjedu je na kraju odnijela Brescia, bilo je 6:5. Pet i pol minuta prije kraja te utakmice Marin Delić zabio je za 4:3 Jadrana da bi minutu i pol kasnije Brescia već vodila 6:4. Bila je to lijepa prilika za jadranaše da iznenade talijansku momčad i nanesu im prvi poraz u sezoni.

- Nadam se da će se to dogoditi sada. Iza nas je, kao i iza Brescije, taj najteži period zbog problema s koronavirusom. U tom periodu od finala Kupa Hrvatske do utakmice s Brescijom imali smo puno problema što se moralo i osjetiti u bazenu – kazao nam je sportski direktor Jadrana i klupska legenda Dean Savičević.

Kakvo je sada stanje u momčadi?

- Upravo smo bili na testiranju i čekam rezultate, ali što se tiče stanja igrača, svi su dobro. Nadam se da će i testovi biti negativni i da ćemo imati priliku odigrati kvalitetnu utakmicu protiv jedne od najboljih svjetskih momčadi. Koliko znam i oni su u boljem stanju nego prilikom te utakmice u Italiji. Mi smo pak nabrijani i u dobrom ritmu i želimo biti prvi koji će ih pobijediti u Ligi prvaka ove godine.

Iza vas je drugi turnir Regionalne lige, pobjede protiv Šapca i Partizana, ali i poraz od Jug Adriatic osiguranja?

- U toj utakmici protiv Juga bilo je nekih sudačkih odluka koje su nam unijele nervozu i tu smo pali. Suci su nam isključili sredinom utakmice Burića i dvoboj je otišao na stranu Juga. No, drago mi je da smo se resetirali i već jutro poslije pokazali moć pobijedivši uvjerljivo Partizana i vjerujem da smo na dobrom putu prema Final fouru Regionalne lige – kazao je Savičević.

Nakon prvog kruga, odnosno sedam kola Lige prvaka, Jadran je šesti sa šest bodova, ispred Radničkog i Dinamo Tbilisija, ali pet bodova daleko od Barcelonete i Novog Beograda koji dijele četvrto mjesto koje teorijski vodi na Final Eight, ali samo u slučaju da Novi Beograd bude među prve tri momčadi, jer oni kao domaćini završnog turnira imaju zajamčeno mjesto. Težak je to zadatak za Jadran, ali pobjeda protiv Brescije odškrinula bi vrata nadi.

Na bazenu u Poljudu čeka nas danas s početkom u 19 sati repriza prošlog kola LEN Lige prvaka, samo je ovog puta domaćin Jadran, a moćna Brescia dolazi u Split kao gost.

Prošla je utakmica bila doista posebna, obje su momčadi imale velikih problema s COVID-19 virusom, Talijani nisu niti imali pun zapisnik, dok su i jadranaši bili oslabljeni, a i niz bitnih igrača netom je bio prebolio koronavirus. Stoga je i utakmica bila neobična, s jako malo golova, a pobjedu je na kraju odnijela Brescia, bilo je 6:5. Pet i pol minuta prije kraja te utakmice Marin Delić zabio je za 4:3 Jadrana da bi minutu i pol kasnije Brescia već vodila 6:4. Bila je to lijepa prilika za jadranaše da iznenade talijansku momčad i nanesu im prvi poraz u sezoni.

- Nadam se da će se to dogoditi sada. Iza nas je, kao i iza Brescije, taj najteži period zbog problema s koronavirusom. U tom periodu od finala Kupa Hrvatske do utakmice s Brescijom imali smo puno problema što se moralo i osjetiti u bazenu – kazao nam je sportski direktor Jadrana i klupska legenda Dean Savičević.

Kakvo je sada stanje u momčadi?

- Upravo smo bili na testiranju i čekam rezultate, ali što se tiče stanja igrača, svi su dobro. Nadam se da će i testovi biti negativni i da ćemo imati priliku odigrati kvalitetnu utakmicu protiv jedne od najboljih svjetskih momčadi. Koliko znam i oni su u boljem stanju nego prilikom te utakmice u Italiji. Mi smo pak nabrijani i u dobrom ritmu i želimo biti prvi koji će ih pobijediti u Ligi prvaka ove godine.

Iza vas je drugi turnir Regionalne lige, pobjede protiv Šapca i Partizana, ali i poraz od Jug Adriatic osiguranja?

- U toj utakmici protiv Juga bilo je nekih sudačkih odluka koje su nam unijele nervozu i tu smo pali. Suci su nam isključili sredinom utakmice Burića i dvoboj je otišao na stranu Juga. No, drago mi je da smo se resetirali i već jutro poslije pokazali moć pobijedivši uvjerljivo Partizana i vjerujem da smo na dobrom putu prema Final fouru Regionalne lige – kazao je Savičević.

Nakon prvog kruga, odnosno sedam kola Lige prvaka, Jadran je šesti sa šest bodova, ispred Radničkog i Dinamo Tbilisija, ali pet bodova daleko od Barcelonete i Novog Beograda koji dijele četvrto mjesto koje teorijski vodi na Final Eight, ali samo u slučaju da Novi Beograd bude među prve tri momčadi, jer oni kao domaćini završnog turnira imaju zajamčeno mjesto. Težak je to zadatak za Jadran, ali pobjeda protiv Brescije odškrinula bi vrata nadi.

Na bazenu u Poljudu čeka nas danas s početkom u 19 sati repriza prošlog kola LEN Lige prvaka, samo je ovog puta domaćin Jadran, a moćna Brescia dolazi u Split kao gost.

Prošla je utakmica bila doista posebna, obje su momčadi imale velikih problema s COVID-19 virusom, Talijani nisu niti imali pun zapisnik, dok su i jadranaši bili oslabljeni, a i niz bitnih igrača netom je bio prebolio koronavirus. Stoga je i utakmica bila neobična, s jako malo golova, a pobjedu je na kraju odnijela Brescia, bilo je 6:5. Pet i pol minuta prije kraja te utakmice Marin Delić zabio je za 4:3 Jadrana da bi minutu i pol kasnije Brescia već vodila 6:4. Bila je to lijepa prilika za jadranaše da iznenade talijansku momčad i nanesu im prvi poraz u sezoni.
