Pušta Jugov brod vodu na nekoliko mjesta. Zagrebačka Mladost u finalu Kupa Hrvatske mu je zadala prvi udarac, Konstantin Harkov, zvijezda najvećeg konkurenta u domaćim bazenima ga je pogodio te večeri čak sedam puta te mu je napravio veliku štetu, a zatim ga je u Ostiji boksačkim rječnikom nokautirao PRO Recco sa čak 15 razlike (3:18 je najteži poraz u povijesti Juga u europskim kupovima).

Zatim, je doživio i udarac od Marseillea, novi poraz, također u europskoj Ligi prvaka, pa onda mirakul usred Šibenika i prvenstveni poraz od Solarisa. Kad se činilo kako je uspio zakrpati rupe pobjedom u Zagrebu protiv Mladosti u borbi za jedinicu u doigravanju za prvaka Hrvatske, kako se vraća, doživio je odmah novi udarac. Pogodio ga je sad i splitski Jadran, i to usred Gruža.

- Naviknimo se na ovo – čulo se u Gružu nakon što su Jerko Marinić Kragić, Ivan Domagoj Zović, Antonio Duždević, Anđelo Šetka i ekipa odnijela u subotu navečer sva tri boda, zabili Jugašima u njihovom domu čak 15 pogodaka.

Što se događa? Zar je moguće da Jug gubi od Šibenika, doma od Jadrana, zatim sa čak 15 razlike u Europi, prima kod kuće 15 pogodaka? Gruž je naviknuo sve na pjesmu. Od 2000. godine osvojio je čak 37 trofeja od čega šest europskih (tri putaprvak Europe).

Ne možemo se ne vratiti unatrag pet godina te se prisjetiti kako je tad bio vlasnik čak pet različiti trofeja, a što nije uspjelo niti jednom hrvatskom klubu u loptačkim sportovima, i to ne samo u muškoj konkurenciji. Jugaši su bili prvaci Europe, osvajači europskog Superkupa, osvajači Regionalne lige, pobjednici Kupa Hrvatske i prvaci Hrvatske. Pamti se kako je ta momčad na Final fouru regionalne lige 2017. naslov uzela s dvije pobjede i pogodak razlikom 33:7!

Međutim, nakon toga odlaze igrači, vrhunski, a takvi ne dolaze. Jugova škola nije 'izbacila' nove zvijezde svjetskog vaterpola, te Jug nije uspio nadoknaditi gubitke. Jug danas nema širinu. Uoči ove sezone ostao je bez Marka Macana i Luke Lozine. Reprezentativni bek, dijete kluba, otišao je u njemački WASPO 98 Hannover, a Lozina u grčki Vouliagmeni. Doveden je samo Amerikanac Alex Obert kao zamjena za Lozinu, ali se nije se iskazao.

Prije toga je sidro dignuo i Maro Joković, a taj gubitak je nenadoknadiv. On i Xavi Garcia su bili najjača desna strana svijeta. Garcia je ostao sam, te nije bilo za očekivati kako će s obzirom na godine povući još više. Garcia je uplovio u 38. godinu života, a Luka Lončar, drugi jugov senator, 28. lipnja će ugasiti 34 svjećice na rođendanskoj torti. Paulo Obradović je prije neki dan proslavio 35. rođendan.

Plus, ove godine korona je sve okrenula naopako. Nikad se nije igralo na ovaj način. Isto vrijedi i za reprezentativne akcije, a tu su najmanje šestorica u akciji. Reprezentacija je imala pripreme krajem 2020. i početkom 2021. te u siječnju prvu akciju – završnicu europskih kvalifikacija za završni turnir Svjetske lige.

Potom se igrala završnica Kupa Hrvatske, te odmah nakon toga novo okupljanje reprezentacije, pripreme u Rijeci i Zagrebu, te nastup u kvalifikacijama za Olimpijske igre u Rotterdamu gdje su reprezentativci odigrali osam teških utakmica u isto toliko dana. Zatim, nakon povratka, pravac Italija, te četiri teške utakmice u isto toliko dana, prije i poslije prvenstvene obveze.

-      Mnogi me pitaju jesam li umoran? Jesam, i ne sjećam se kad sam odigrao toliko utakmica u tako kratkom vremenu, a svaka je bila važna. I to ne bi bio problem da sam jedini. Osim nas četvorice iz kluba, koji smo igrali u Rotterdamu za Hrvatsku, imamo još i Papanastasioua, te Merkulova, koji su isto prošli s Grčkom odnosno Rusijom – istaknut će Loren Fatović, reprezentativac Juga, jedini koji u napadu ne popušta. Zabljesne Toni Popadić na vratima...

-      Stoji, poraz od PRO Recca je ružan prvenstveno zbog konačnog rezultata, zatim taj poraz od Marseillea... Možda taj poraz nije iznenađenje s obzirom na okolnosti u kojima se nalazimo, a s druge strane znajući kvalitetu suparnika. Na kraju neočekivan poraz od Solarisa za koji nema opravdanja, ali stoji kako smo od Rotterdama do danas dobili sve utakmice u kojima je imperativ bila pobjeda – naglasio je Fatović.

Da, Jugaši su osigurali i prije posljednjeg, trećeg turnira skupine europske Lige prvaka plasman na završni turnir, zatim unatoč porazu od Jadrana i dalje su broj jedan u prvenstvu, ali nema mira u Gružu. Umor je velik, važne utakmice su svako malo, udarne snage nemaju vremena za odmor, širine nema za to, te gledamo lošeg Juga, baš lošeg, a zbog čega se nervoza uvukla u redove hrvatskog prvaka. Već krajem ovog tjedna se dijeli drugi trofej (Regionalna liga). Što može napraviti Vjeko Kobešćak da se Jug AO iz Zagreba vrati s pokalom?

Pušta Jugov brod vodu na nekoliko mjesta. Zagrebačka Mladost u finalu Kupa Hrvatske mu je zadala prvi udarac, Konstantin Harkov, zvijezda najvećeg konkurenta u domaćim bazenima ga je pogodio te večeri čak sedam puta te mu je napravio veliku štetu, a zatim ga je u Ostiji boksačkim rječnikom nokautirao PRO Recco sa čak 15 razlike (3:18 je najteži poraz u povijesti Juga u europskim kupovima).

Zatim, je doživio i udarac od Marseillea, novi poraz, također u europskoj Ligi prvaka, pa onda mirakul usred Šibenika i prvenstveni poraz od Solarisa. Kad se činilo kako je uspio zakrpati rupe pobjedom u Zagrebu protiv Mladosti u borbi za jedinicu u doigravanju za prvaka Hrvatske, kako se vraća, doživio je odmah novi udarac. Pogodio ga je sad i splitski Jadran, i to usred Gruža.

- Naviknimo se na ovo – čulo se u Gružu nakon što su Jerko Marinić Kragić, Ivan Domagoj Zović, Antonio Duždević, Anđelo Šetka i ekipa odnijela u subotu navečer sva tri boda, zabili Jugašima u njihovom domu čak 15 pogodaka.

Što se događa? Zar je moguće da Jug gubi od Šibenika, doma od Jadrana, zatim sa čak 15 razlike u Europi, prima kod kuće 15 pogodaka? Gruž je naviknuo sve na pjesmu. Od 2000. godine osvojio je čak 37 trofeja od čega šest europskih (tri putaprvak Europe).

Ne možemo se ne vratiti unatrag pet godina te se prisjetiti kako je tad bio vlasnik čak pet različiti trofeja, a što nije uspjelo niti jednom hrvatskom klubu u loptačkim sportovima, i to ne samo u muškoj konkurenciji. Jugaši su bili prvaci Europe, osvajači europskog Superkupa, osvajači Regionalne lige, pobjednici Kupa Hrvatske i prvaci Hrvatske. Pamti se kako je ta momčad na Final fouru regionalne lige 2017. naslov uzela s dvije pobjede i pogodak razlikom 33:7!

Međutim, nakon toga odlaze igrači, vrhunski, a takvi ne dolaze. Jugova škola nije 'izbacila' nove zvijezde svjetskog vaterpola, te Jug nije uspio nadoknaditi gubitke. Jug danas nema širinu. Uoči ove sezone ostao je bez Marka Macana i Luke Lozine. Reprezentativni bek, dijete kluba, otišao je u njemački WASPO 98 Hannover, a Lozina u grčki Vouliagmeni. Doveden je samo Amerikanac Alex Obert kao zamjena za Lozinu, ali se nije se iskazao.

Prije toga je sidro dignuo i Maro Joković, a taj gubitak je nenadoknadiv. On i Xavi Garcia su bili najjača desna strana svijeta. Garcia je ostao sam, te nije bilo za očekivati kako će s obzirom na godine povući još više. Garcia je uplovio u 38. godinu života, a Luka Lončar, drugi jugov senator, 28. lipnja će ugasiti 34 svjećice na rođendanskoj torti. Paulo Obradović je prije neki dan proslavio 35. rođendan.

Plus, ove godine korona je sve okrenula naopako. Nikad se nije igralo na ovaj način. Isto vrijedi i za reprezentativne akcije, a tu su najmanje šestorica u akciji. Reprezentacija je imala pripreme krajem 2020. i početkom 2021. te u siječnju prvu akciju – završnicu europskih kvalifikacija za završni turnir Svjetske lige.

Potom se igrala završnica Kupa Hrvatske, te odmah nakon toga novo okupljanje reprezentacije, pripreme u Rijeci i Zagrebu, te nastup u kvalifikacijama za Olimpijske igre u Rotterdamu gdje su reprezentativci odigrali osam teških utakmica u isto toliko dana. Zatim, nakon povratka, pravac Italija, te četiri teške utakmice u isto toliko dana, prije i poslije prvenstvene obveze.

-      Mnogi me pitaju jesam li umoran? Jesam, i ne sjećam se kad sam odigrao toliko utakmica u tako kratkom vremenu, a svaka je bila važna. I to ne bi bio problem da sam jedini. Osim nas četvorice iz kluba, koji smo igrali u Rotterdamu za Hrvatsku, imamo još i Papanastasioua, te Merkulova, koji su isto prošli s Grčkom odnosno Rusijom – istaknut će Loren Fatović, reprezentativac Juga, jedini koji u napadu ne popušta. Zabljesne Toni Popadić na vratima...

-      Stoji, poraz od PRO Recca je ružan prvenstveno zbog konačnog rezultata, zatim taj poraz od Marseillea... Možda taj poraz nije iznenađenje s obzirom na okolnosti u kojima se nalazimo, a s druge strane znajući kvalitetu suparnika. Na kraju neočekivan poraz od Solarisa za koji nema opravdanja, ali stoji kako smo od Rotterdama do danas dobili sve utakmice u kojima je imperativ bila pobjeda – naglasio je Fatović.

Da, Jugaši su osigurali i prije posljednjeg, trećeg turnira skupine europske Lige prvaka plasman na završni turnir, zatim unatoč porazu od Jadrana i dalje su broj jedan u prvenstvu, ali nema mira u Gružu. Umor je velik, važne utakmice su svako malo, udarne snage nemaju vremena za odmor, širine nema za to, te gledamo lošeg Juga, baš lošeg, a zbog čega se nervoza uvukla u redove hrvatskog prvaka. Već krajem ovog tjedna se dijeli drugi trofej (Regionalna liga). Što može napraviti Vjeko Kobešćak da se Jug AO iz Zagreba vrati s pokalom?

Vaterpološto se događa

Kriza trese dubrovačkog vaterpolskog giganta: zvijezde su napuštale Gruž, a Jugova škola nije ‘izbacila’ nove...

Pušta Jugov brod vodu na nekoliko mjesta. Zagrebačka Mladost u finalu Kupa Hrvatske mu je zadala prvi udarac, Konstantin Harkov, zvijezda najvećeg konkurenta u domaćim bazenima ga je pogodio te večeri čak sedam puta te mu je napravio veliku štetu, a zatim ga je u Ostiji boksačkim rječnikom nokautirao PRO Recco sa čak 15 razlike (3:18 je najteži poraz u povijesti Juga u europskim kupovima).

Zatim, je doživio i udarac od Marseillea, novi poraz, također u europskoj Ligi prvaka, pa onda mirakul usred Šibenika i prvenstveni poraz od Solarisa. Kad se činilo kako je uspio zakrpati rupe pobjedom u Zagrebu protiv Mladosti u borbi za jedinicu u doigravanju za prvaka Hrvatske, kako se vraća, doživio je odmah novi udarac. Pogodio ga je sad i splitski Jadran, i to usred Gruža.
