Francuska nogometna legenda i bivši predsjednik Europskog nogometnog saveza (UEFA) Michel Platini nazvao je VAR "prekrasnim sranjem" gostujući u nedjelju navečer na talijanskoj televiziji RAI.

"Trebalo bi mi pola sata kako bih objasnio zašto VAR ne rješava probleme. Samo ih gura dalje. Protiv VAR-a sam. Mislim da je to 'prekrasno sranje'. Nažalost, nema nam povratka", rekao je Platini koji je oduvijek bio veliki protivnik uvođenja tehnologije u nogomet.

Platiniju je u listopadu istekla četverogodišnja suspenzija bavljenja bilo kakvim aktivnostima u nogometu, koja mu je izrečena zbog afere primanja mita, odnosno isplate dva milijuna švicarskih franaka od tadašnjeg predsjednika Međunarodnog nogometnog saveza (FIFA) Seppa Blattera.

Nakon što je izgubio poziciju vodećeg čovjeka UEFA-e, naslijedio ga je Slovenac Aleksandar Čeferin, a Platini se nije mogao ni natjecati za predsjednika Međunarodnog nogometnog saveza, gdje je na mjesto čelnog čovjeka, nakon Blattera, stigao bivši Platinijev prvi pomoćnik Gianni Infantino.

"Sa 64 godine još sam uvijek spreman za posljednju avanturu. No, moram dobro razmisliti, jer ne smijem pogriješiti", izjavio je Platini vezano za mogući novi angažman u području nogometa iz kojeg je izbačen 2015. godine.

"Nisu me željeli na mjestu predsjednika FIFA-e. Želio sam braniti nogomet i bio sam jedini nogometaš koji je mogao postati predsjednikom", rekao je Platini dodajući kako s Infantinom i Blatterom više nema nikakve kontakte.

Francuska nogometna legenda i bivši predsjednik Europskog nogometnog saveza (UEFA) Michel Platini nazvao je VAR "prekrasnim sranjem" gostujući u nedjelju navečer na talijanskoj televiziji RAI.

"Trebalo bi mi pola sata kako bih objasnio zašto VAR ne rješava probleme. Samo ih gura dalje. Protiv VAR-a sam. Mislim da je to 'prekrasno sranje'. Nažalost, nema nam povratka", rekao je Platini koji je oduvijek bio veliki protivnik uvođenja tehnologije u nogomet.

Platiniju je u listopadu istekla četverogodišnja suspenzija bavljenja bilo kakvim aktivnostima u nogometu, koja mu je izrečena zbog afere primanja mita, odnosno isplate dva milijuna švicarskih franaka od tadašnjeg predsjednika Međunarodnog nogometnog saveza (FIFA) Seppa Blattera.

Nakon što je izgubio poziciju vodećeg čovjeka UEFA-e, naslijedio ga je Slovenac Aleksandar Čeferin, a Platini se nije mogao ni natjecati za predsjednika Međunarodnog nogometnog saveza, gdje je na mjesto čelnog čovjeka, nakon Blattera, stigao bivši Platinijev prvi pomoćnik Gianni Infantino.

"Sa 64 godine još sam uvijek spreman za posljednju avanturu. No, moram dobro razmisliti, jer ne smijem pogriješiti", izjavio je Platini vezano za mogući novi angažman u području nogometa iz kojeg je izbačen 2015. godine.

"Nisu me željeli na mjestu predsjednika FIFA-e. Želio sam braniti nogomet i bio sam jedini nogometaš koji je mogao postati predsjednikom", rekao je Platini dodajući kako s Infantinom i Blatterom više nema nikakve kontakte.
