Veliki rezultat napravili su borci iz Kick-boxing kluba Sv. Jure iz Vrgorca na Europskom kupu u kick-boxingu u Karlovcu.

Ovaj jaki turnir okupio je 2064 borca iz 28 zemalja, a “mali“ vrgorački klub, koji egzistira sa 10.000 kuna godišnje, postigao je sjajan uspjeh. Nikica Radonić, donedavno najbolji hrvatski junior, svladao je u jednoj od glavnih borbi večeri Fesnika Gashija iz Austrije u full-contactu do 81 kilograma, prekidom u drugoj rundi, i okitio se pojasom prvaka u toj kategoriji.

Radonić je tek nedavno izašao iz juniora, no već postiže zapažene rezultate i u seniorskoj kategoriji.

- Borba je bila odlična, pred kraj druge runde sudac je odlučio prekinuti meč jer je protivnik primio dosta teških udaraca. Radim naporno, svaki dan treniram dva puta, izuzetno sam spreman zahvaljujući mojim trenerima u Vrgorcu i Splitu. A kad sam spreman, znam da mi malotko može parirati u ovoj kategoriji. Za postići nešto u sportu, posebno borilačkom, potrebne su godine odricanja, a ništa od toga ne bih bilo bez trenera Davora Jovića i mojih roditelja koji su mi uvijek potpora - kazao je Radonić.

Pored Radonića, Jović je stvorio još jednoga odličnog, mladog borca - Antu Buloga, koji iz godine u godinu napreduje, a u Karlovcu se okitio zlatom u juniorskoj kategoriji do 81 kilograma. Bulog je u finalu svladao Szachan Bolivara iz Mađarske i donio u Tinov grad zlato. 

Ove odlične sportaše krasi poniznost i skromnost na što je njihov trener izuzetno ponosan. Na velikom uspjehu čestitao im je i legendarni Branko Cikatić, osvajač K1 turnira.

- Ponosan sam na njih jer su prije svega dobri ljudi. Zahvalio bih se sponzorima koji su nam pomogli da odemo u Karlovac, jer svaka nam je kuna važna. Sad nam slijedi Prvenstvo Hrvatske u Poreču, pred kraj mjeseca. Nadam se da ćemo se i tu okititi medaljama - zaključio je Davor Jović.

Veliki rezultat napravili su borci iz Kick-boxing kluba Sv. Jure iz Vrgorca na Europskom kupu u kick-boxingu u Karlovcu.

Ovaj jaki turnir okupio je 2064 borca iz 28 zemalja, a “mali“ vrgorački klub, koji egzistira sa 10.000 kuna godišnje, postigao je sjajan uspjeh. Nikica Radonić, donedavno najbolji hrvatski junior, svladao je u jednoj od glavnih borbi večeri Fesnika Gashija iz Austrije u full-contactu do 81 kilograma, prekidom u drugoj rundi, i okitio se pojasom prvaka u toj kategoriji.

Radonić je tek nedavno izašao iz juniora, no već postiže zapažene rezultate i u seniorskoj kategoriji.

- Borba je bila odlična, pred kraj druge runde sudac je odlučio prekinuti meč jer je protivnik primio dosta teških udaraca. Radim naporno, svaki dan treniram dva puta, izuzetno sam spreman zahvaljujući mojim trenerima u Vrgorcu i Splitu. A kad sam spreman, znam da mi malotko može parirati u ovoj kategoriji. Za postići nešto u sportu, posebno borilačkom, potrebne su godine odricanja, a ništa od toga ne bih bilo bez trenera Davora Jovića i mojih roditelja koji su mi uvijek potpora - kazao je Radonić.

Pored Radonića, Jović je stvorio još jednoga odličnog, mladog borca - Antu Buloga, koji iz godine u godinu napreduje, a u Karlovcu se okitio zlatom u juniorskoj kategoriji do 81 kilograma. Bulog je u finalu svladao Szachan Bolivara iz Mađarske i donio u Tinov grad zlato. 

Ove odlične sportaše krasi poniznost i skromnost na što je njihov trener izuzetno ponosan. Na velikom uspjehu čestitao im je i legendarni Branko Cikatić, osvajač K1 turnira.

- Ponosan sam na njih jer su prije svega dobri ljudi. Zahvalio bih se sponzorima koji su nam pomogli da odemo u Karlovac, jer svaka nam je kuna važna. Sad nam slijedi Prvenstvo Hrvatske u Poreču, pred kraj mjeseca. Nadam se da ćemo se i tu okititi medaljama - zaključio je Davor Jović.
