#WhereIsPengShuai. Viralni pokret koji se razvio iz teniskih krugova i postao je globalan pokušava već danima dobiti odgovor na misterij - Gdje je Peng Shuai? I što joj se dogodilo?

Bivša osvajačica Wimbledona (2013.) i Roland Garrosa (2014.) kao i prva tenisačica svijeta u paru, polufinalistica US Opena (2014.) i 14. igračica svijeta u singlu, nestala je nakon što je optužila za silovanje bivšeg kineskog vicepremijera Zhanga Gaolija.

Shuai (35) je 2. studenoga na kineskoj društvenoj mreži Weibo objavila podužu potresnu ispovijest. Između ostalog navela je kako ju je tri godine ranije silovao čovjek s kojim je prije i poslije tog incidenta bila u povremenoj, očito kompliciranoj vezi, visoki dužnosnik Komunističke partije Kine Gaoli. A da je njegova supruga držala stražu ispred vrata. Taj post je nestao za 20 minuta, a uskoro i Shuai. O čemu u kineskim medijima nema spomena. Pokušavao ju je potom WTA (Udruženje tenisačica) kontaktirati, ali bezuspješno.

Neki od vodećih aktualnih i bivših tenisača i tenisačica svijeta Novak Đoković, Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams, Chris Evert... javno su inzistirali da se istraži sudbina njihove kolegice, WTA na uvjerenju da je sa Shuai sve u redu. Tek je državni medij China Global Television Network objavio navodni e-mail Shuai u kojem stoji kako se odmara kod kuće, kako nisu istina tvrdnje o silovanju...

- Ne znam je li možda bila prisiljena to sastaviti, je li netko drugi to pisao. Nisam uvjeren u to što u e-mailu piše i nećemo sjediti mirno sve dok ne budemo u prilici razgovarati s njom. Pokušali smo je izravno kontaktirati na sve moguće brojeve, e-mail adrese i kroz druge oblike komunikacije. Toliko je danas mogućnosti za komunikaciju, a još je nismo uspjeli dobiti – rekao je čelnik WTA Steve Simon za CNN i zaprijetio.

- Spremni smo zaustaviti sve poslove s Kinom. Ovo je mnogo važnije od biznisa!

Naime, Kina je domaćin WTA završnice u razdoblju od 2019. do 2028., ali se ove godine umjesto u Shenzhenu zbog pandemije Covida-19 igrala u meksičkoj Guadalajari. Ukupna ulaganja u taj projekt prelaze milijardu dolara. Što se god pokazalo istinom negativna je ovo reklama za Kinu koja će za samo tri mjeseca ugostiti Zimske olimpijske igre.

Mnogo je slučajeva sportaša koji su na crnim listama vlasti u domovinama. Evo nekih najpoznatijih.

Centa Bostona Kanter zbog dugog jezika ostao bez domovine

Sve ovo događa se samo mjesec dana nakon što je košarkaš Boston Celticsa Enes Kanter (29) na prvi susret NBA sezone protiv New York Knicksa istrčao u tenisicama s natpisom „Oslobodite Tibet!”. Odmah su stopirani svi tv prijenosi Bostona na području Kine kao i objava vijesti vezanih za momčad. Nije se tu turski centar zaustavio. Objavio je video u kojem je u majici s likom Dalaj Lame poručio:

- Tibet Tibetancima, Xi Jinping (kineski predsjednik, nap.a.) je brutalni diktator.

Dvije godine ranije duhove u Kini uzburkao je tadašnji generalni menadžer Houston Rocketsa Daryl Morrey kada je dao podršku prosvjednicima u Hong Kongu.

Kanter je već od ranije poznat kao aktivist i glasni protivnik režima turskog predsjednika Recapa Erdogana. Nakon neuspješnog državnog udara koji je Erdogan izdržao 2016., dobivao je Kanter prijetnje smrću. Oduzeta mu je i turska putovnica, pa je ostao bez domovine (sada ima američku). U Tursku se ne može vratiti i zato što je protiv njega podignuta optužnica za terorizam. Otac mu je u tamo kazneno progonjen i ostao je bez posla na sveučilištu. Kasnije je Kanter prozivao tursku vladu i zbog napada na Kurde u Siriji.

Najboljem nogometašu Sükür sve su oduzeli, sada u Americi vozi Uber

Sličnu sudbinu doživio je i najpoznatiji turski nogometaš svih vremena Hakan Sükür (50), osvajač Kupa UEFA s Galatasarayem (2000.), bivši član Intera, treći na svijetu s Turskom (2002.) i najbolji strijelac reprezentacije svih vremena. Sükür je u domovini nakon igračke karijere bio i član parlamenta, kao dio Erdoganove stranke. No, baš kao i Kantera i njega je skupo stajalo što je bio pristaša Fethullaha Gülena, imama i političkog vođe, nekada Erdoganovog političkog saveznika, kasnije optuženog da stoji iza pokušaja državnog udara.

I Sükür je, baš kao i Gülen, morao pobjeći u SAD. Prvo je bio optužen za vrijeđanje Erdogana na Twitteru, potom da je član Gülenovog pokreta odnosno terorist. Kako je sva njegova imovina u Turskoj (nekretnine, tvrtke) zaplijenjena u intervjuu za „Welt am Sonntag” prošle godine rekao je

da vozi Über i prodaje knjige, dok je nedavno za talijanski Sportweek kazao da je otvorio i pekaru te poručio.

- Uzeli su mi sve, oca uhapsili... Plaćaju cijenu svi koji su tražili demokraciju. Nogometaši nemojte se buniti jer ćete završiti kao ja.

#WhereIsPengShuai. Viralni pokret koji se razvio iz teniskih krugova i postao je globalan pokušava već danima dobiti odgovor na misterij - Gdje je Peng Shuai? I što joj se dogodilo?

Bivša osvajačica Wimbledona (2013.) i Roland Garrosa (2014.) kao i prva tenisačica svijeta u paru, polufinalistica US Opena (2014.) i 14. igračica svijeta u singlu, nestala je nakon što je optužila za silovanje bivšeg kineskog vicepremijera Zhanga Gaolija.

Shuai (35) je 2. studenoga na kineskoj društvenoj mreži Weibo objavila podužu potresnu ispovijest. Između ostalog navela je kako ju je tri godine ranije silovao čovjek s kojim je prije i poslije tog incidenta bila u povremenoj, očito kompliciranoj vezi, visoki dužnosnik Komunističke partije Kine Gaoli. A da je njegova supruga držala stražu ispred vrata. Taj post je nestao za 20 minuta, a uskoro i Shuai. O čemu u kineskim medijima nema spomena. Pokušavao ju je potom WTA (Udruženje tenisačica) kontaktirati, ali bezuspješno.

Neki od vodećih aktualnih i bivših tenisača i tenisačica svijeta Novak Đoković, Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams, Chris Evert... javno su inzistirali da se istraži sudbina njihove kolegice, WTA na uvjerenju da je sa Shuai sve u redu. Tek je državni medij China Global Television Network objavio navodni e-mail Shuai u kojem stoji kako se odmara kod kuće, kako nisu istina tvrdnje o silovanju...

- Ne znam je li možda bila prisiljena to sastaviti, je li netko drugi to pisao. Nisam uvjeren u to što u e-mailu piše i nećemo sjediti mirno sve dok ne budemo u prilici razgovarati s njom. Pokušali smo je izravno kontaktirati na sve moguće brojeve, e-mail adrese i kroz druge oblike komunikacije. Toliko je danas mogućnosti za komunikaciju, a još je nismo uspjeli dobiti – rekao je čelnik WTA Steve Simon za CNN i zaprijetio.

- Spremni smo zaustaviti sve poslove s Kinom. Ovo je mnogo važnije od biznisa!

Naime, Kina je domaćin WTA završnice u razdoblju od 2019. do 2028., ali se ove godine umjesto u Shenzhenu zbog pandemije Covida-19 igrala u meksičkoj Guadalajari. Ukupna ulaganja u taj projekt prelaze milijardu dolara. Što se god pokazalo istinom negativna je ovo reklama za Kinu koja će za samo tri mjeseca ugostiti Zimske olimpijske igre.

Mnogo je slučajeva sportaša koji su na crnim listama vlasti u domovinama. Evo nekih najpoznatijih.

Centa Bostona Kanter zbog dugog jezika ostao bez domovine

Sve ovo događa se samo mjesec dana nakon što je košarkaš Boston Celticsa Enes Kanter (29) na prvi susret NBA sezone protiv New York Knicksa istrčao u tenisicama s natpisom „Oslobodite Tibet!”. Odmah su stopirani svi tv prijenosi Bostona na području Kine kao i objava vijesti vezanih za momčad. Nije se tu turski centar zaustavio. Objavio je video u kojem je u majici s likom Dalaj Lame poručio:

- Tibet Tibetancima, Xi Jinping (kineski predsjednik, nap.a.) je brutalni diktator.

Dvije godine ranije duhove u Kini uzburkao je tadašnji generalni menadžer Houston Rocketsa Daryl Morrey kada je dao podršku prosvjednicima u Hong Kongu.

Kanter je već od ranije poznat kao aktivist i glasni protivnik režima turskog predsjednika Recapa Erdogana. Nakon neuspješnog državnog udara koji je Erdogan izdržao 2016., dobivao je Kanter prijetnje smrću. Oduzeta mu je i turska putovnica, pa je ostao bez domovine (sada ima američku). U Tursku se ne može vratiti i zato što je protiv njega podignuta optužnica za terorizam. Otac mu je u tamo kazneno progonjen i ostao je bez posla na sveučilištu. Kasnije je Kanter prozivao tursku vladu i zbog napada na Kurde u Siriji.

Najboljem nogometašu Sükür sve su oduzeli, sada u Americi vozi Uber

Sličnu sudbinu doživio je i najpoznatiji turski nogometaš svih vremena Hakan Sükür (50), osvajač Kupa UEFA s Galatasarayem (2000.), bivši član Intera, treći na svijetu s Turskom (2002.) i najbolji strijelac reprezentacije svih vremena. Sükür je u domovini nakon igračke karijere bio i član parlamenta, kao dio Erdoganove stranke. No, baš kao i Kantera i njega je skupo stajalo što je bio pristaša Fethullaha Gülena, imama i političkog vođe, nekada Erdoganovog političkog saveznika, kasnije optuženog da stoji iza pokušaja državnog udara.

I Sükür je, baš kao i Gülen, morao pobjeći u SAD. Prvo je bio optužen za vrijeđanje Erdogana na Twitteru, potom da je član Gülenovog pokreta odnosno terorist. Kako je sva njegova imovina u Turskoj (nekretnine, tvrtke) zaplijenjena u intervjuu za „Welt am Sonntag” prošle godine rekao je

da vozi Über i prodaje knjige, dok je nedavno za talijanski Sportweek kazao da je otvorio i pekaru te poručio.

- Uzeli su mi sve, oca uhapsili... Plaćaju cijenu svi koji su tražili demokraciju. Nogometaši nemojte se buniti jer ćete završiti kao ja.
