Olimpijske igre u Tokiju,unatoč pandemiji i upornom protivljenju japanske javnosti, održat će se sa stopostotnom sigurnošću, kazala je predsjednica organizacijskog odbora Tokio-2020 Seiko Hashimoto 50 dana od početka Igara.

U intervjuu koji je emitirao BBC Sport, Hashimoto rekla je da je uvjerena da će se Olimpijske igre održati kako je planirano, od 23. srpnja do 8. kolovoza.

"Vjerujem da je mogućnost da se ove Igre održe stopostotna, a mi ćemo to učiniti", rekla je.

Također je potvrdila da bi ove olimpijske igre mogle biti prve u povijesti koje će se održati iza zatvorenih vrata, ukoliko se zabrani dolazak i domaćih gledatelja u cilju sprečavanja infekcija. Organizatori su već odlučili zabraniti bilo kakav dolazak gledatelja iz inozemstva.

"Najveći će izazov biti kako možemo kontrolirati i upravljati protokom ljudi. Ako bi se tijekom Igara dogodila epidemija, koja bi predstavljala krizu ili hitan slučaj, mislim da moramo biti spremni organizirati ove Igre bez ikakvih gledatelja", kazala je Hashimoto.

Mickael Payne, bivši direktor marketinga MOO-a, kazao je da su "stroge kontrole koje su postavili japanski organizatori i MOO prekinule bilo koju izravnu veza između međunarodnih posjetitelja i Japanaca “.

Kao jedna od velikih poteškoća s kojima se susreću organizatori, oko 10.000 od ukupno 80.000 volontera planiranih za Olimpijske i Paraolimpijske igre odustalo je to, kako se navodi, zbog zdravstvenih problema.

Zbog četvrtog vala infekcija, Tokio i još prefektura ostat će u izvanrednom stanju do 20. lipnja, mjesec dana prije Igara, dok je samo tri posto stanovništva primilo dvije doze cjepiva.

Olimpijske igre u Tokiju,unatoč pandemiji i upornom protivljenju japanske javnosti, održat će se sa stopostotnom sigurnošću, kazala je predsjednica organizacijskog odbora Tokio-2020 Seiko Hashimoto 50 dana od početka Igara.

U intervjuu koji je emitirao BBC Sport, Hashimoto rekla je da je uvjerena da će se Olimpijske igre održati kako je planirano, od 23. srpnja do 8. kolovoza.

"Vjerujem da je mogućnost da se ove Igre održe stopostotna, a mi ćemo to učiniti", rekla je.

Također je potvrdila da bi ove olimpijske igre mogle biti prve u povijesti koje će se održati iza zatvorenih vrata, ukoliko se zabrani dolazak i domaćih gledatelja u cilju sprečavanja infekcija. Organizatori su već odlučili zabraniti bilo kakav dolazak gledatelja iz inozemstva.

"Najveći će izazov biti kako možemo kontrolirati i upravljati protokom ljudi. Ako bi se tijekom Igara dogodila epidemija, koja bi predstavljala krizu ili hitan slučaj, mislim da moramo biti spremni organizirati ove Igre bez ikakvih gledatelja", kazala je Hashimoto.

Mickael Payne, bivši direktor marketinga MOO-a, kazao je da su "stroge kontrole koje su postavili japanski organizatori i MOO prekinule bilo koju izravnu veza između međunarodnih posjetitelja i Japanaca “.

Kao jedna od velikih poteškoća s kojima se susreću organizatori, oko 10.000 od ukupno 80.000 volontera planiranih za Olimpijske i Paraolimpijske igre odustalo je to, kako se navodi, zbog zdravstvenih problema.

Zbog četvrtog vala infekcija, Tokio i još prefektura ostat će u izvanrednom stanju do 20. lipnja, mjesec dana prije Igara, dok je samo tri posto stanovništva primilo dvije doze cjepiva.

Seiko Hashimoto objavila dobru vijest: OI će se održati s 100-postotnom sigurnošću

Olimpijske igre u Tokiju,unatoč pandemiji i upornom protivljenju japanske javnosti, održat će se sa stopostotnom sigurnošću, kazala je predsjednica organizacijskog odbora Tokio-2020 Seiko Hashimoto 50 dana od početka Igara.

U intervjuu koji je emitirao BBC Sport, Hashimoto rekla je da je uvjerena da će se Olimpijske igre održati kako je planirano, od 23. srpnja do 8. kolovoza.

"Vjerujem da je mogućnost da se ove Igre održe stopostotna, a mi ćemo to učiniti", rekla je.

Također je potvrdila da bi ove olimpijske igre mogle biti prve u povijesti koje će se održati iza zatvorenih vrata, ukoliko se zabrani dolazak i domaćih gledatelja u cilju sprečavanja infekcija. Organizatori su već odlučili zabraniti bilo kakav dolazak gledatelja iz inozemstva.
