Japanska ministrica za olimpijske i paraolimpijske igre Seiko Hashimoto (56) imenovana je u četvrtak predsjednicom organizacijskog odbora za OI Tokio 2020 i na tom će mjestu zamijeniti Yoshira Morija koji je morao podnijeti ostavku prošli petak zbog seksističkih izjava. 

"Neću se štedjeti napora u pokušaju da Olimpijske igre u Tokiju budu uspješne", izjavila je Hashimoto nakon imenovanja.

Dodala je kako su mjere koje će biti uvedene na olimpijskim igrama za borbu protiv koronavirusa biti "apsolutni prioritet". Hashimoto je također istaknula da želi da i javnost, kako u Japanu tako i u inozemstvu, "osjeti da su Igre sigurne".

Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, koje su se trebale održati prople godine, ali su odgođene zbog pandemije koronavirusa počinju 23. srpnja i traju do 8. kolovoza.

Prije samog imenovanja Hashimoto je podnijela ostavku na mjesto u vladi u kojoj je bila jedna od dvije ministrice.

Hashimoto iza sebe ima dugu sportsku karijeru, sudjelovala je na sedam olimpijskih igara između 1984. i 1996. godine - na četirima ljetnim na kojima se natjecama u biciklizmu i na trima zimskim na kojima se natjecala u biciklizmu. Na ZOI 1992. u Albertvilleu osvojila je brončanu medalju u brzom klizanju.

Japanska ministrica za olimpijske i paraolimpijske igre Seiko Hashimoto (56) imenovana je u četvrtak predsjednicom organizacijskog odbora za OI Tokio 2020 i na tom će mjestu zamijeniti Yoshira Morija koji je morao podnijeti ostavku prošli petak zbog seksističkih izjava. 

"Neću se štedjeti napora u pokušaju da Olimpijske igre u Tokiju budu uspješne", izjavila je Hashimoto nakon imenovanja.

Dodala je kako su mjere koje će biti uvedene na olimpijskim igrama za borbu protiv koronavirusa biti "apsolutni prioritet". Hashimoto je također istaknula da želi da i javnost, kako u Japanu tako i u inozemstvu, "osjeti da su Igre sigurne".

Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, koje su se trebale održati prople godine, ali su odgođene zbog pandemije koronavirusa počinju 23. srpnja i traju do 8. kolovoza.

Prije samog imenovanja Hashimoto je podnijela ostavku na mjesto u vladi u kojoj je bila jedna od dvije ministrice.

Hashimoto iza sebe ima dugu sportsku karijeru, sudjelovala je na sedam olimpijskih igara između 1984. i 1996. godine - na četirima ljetnim na kojima se natjecama u biciklizmu i na trima zimskim na kojima se natjecala u biciklizmu. Na ZOI 1992. u Albertvilleu osvojila je brončanu medalju u brzom klizanju.

Seiko Hashimoto nova je predsjednica organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju, prije imenovanja podnijela je ostavku u japanskoj vladi

Japanska ministrica za olimpijske i paraolimpijske igre Seiko Hashimoto (56) imenovana je u četvrtak predsjednicom organizacijskog odbora za OI Tokio 2020 i na tom će mjestu zamijeniti Yoshira Morija koji je morao podnijeti ostavku prošli petak zbog seksističkih izjava. 

"Neću se štedjeti napora u pokušaju da Olimpijske igre u Tokiju budu uspješne", izjavila je Hashimoto nakon imenovanja.

Dodala je kako su mjere koje će biti uvedene na olimpijskim igrama za borbu protiv koronavirusa biti "apsolutni prioritet". Hashimoto je također istaknula da želi da i javnost, kako u Japanu tako i u inozemstvu, "osjeti da su Igre sigurne".

Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, koje su se trebale održati prople godine, ali su odgođene zbog pandemije koronavirusa počinju 23. srpnja i traju do 8. kolovoza....
