Olimpijski pobjednik i svjetski rekorder Amerikanac Ryan Crouser pobjednik je 7. Memorijala Ivana Ivančića u bacanju kugle koji je održan na bacalištu pokraj zagrebačkih fontana i Nacionalne i sveučilišne knjižnice.

Šestorica od desetorice najboljih na svijetu u ovom trenutku bili su na bacalištu pokraj fontana, sve tri olimpijske medalje iz Tokija na čelu s najboljim svjetskim bacačem u ovom trenutku i svjetskim rekorderom Ryanom Crouserom. Amerikanac je na koncu slavio s rezultatom 22.84 metara što je novi rekord mitinga, a svih šest njegovih hitaca išla su preko 22 metara.

Prošle godine je Crouser u Zagrebu bacio 22.74, što je bio najbolji hitac na tlu Europe u posljednjih 30 godina. U međuvremenu je taj "rekord" otišao u Lausanneu (22.81), no od danas je ponovo u Zagrebu. Dodajmo, kako je Crouser u lipnju ove godine u Eugeneu u američkoj saveznoj državi Oregon postavio novi svjetski rekord 23.37.

- Doista sam sretan, zadovoljan i ponosan na sve što sam uspio ove sezone. Drago mi je da sam u Zagrebu ostvario ovaj rezultat, jer je Zagreb zbog jedne posebne atmosfere miting na kojem se osjećam najbolje - kazao je Crouser nakon četvrte pobjede u Zagrebu.

U dosadašnjih sedam natjecanja na Memorijalu samo su dvojica bacača slavila - Crouser i bivši svjetski prvak Novozelanđanin Tomas Walsh. Novozelanđanin ima još jednu pobjedu na zagrebačkom mitingu prije nego što je nazvan po legendarnom "Ivanči", pa sada obojica imaju ukupno po četiri pobjede u Zagrebu.

- Osjetila se energija, ponijela nas je za dobro natjecanje na kraju ove sezone. Sada se vraćam kući i počinjem raditi za novu sezonu, jer bez rada se ne može do vrhunskih ostvarenja. Mislim da u smislu brzine i tehnike, te mentalno mogu još napredovati i vidimo se sljedeće sezone - rekao je sjajni Amerikanac.

Walsh je večeras bio drugi sa 22.39 metara, dok je treći bio Amerikanac Joe Kovacs sa 21.70. Srbin Armin Sinančević bio je četvrti sa 21.45, dok je hrvatski rekorder Filip Mihaljević osvojio peto mjesto s rezultatom 21.26.

- Zadovoljan sam, sezonu smo počeli preko 21 metar i završili na isti način. Svi smo već pomalo umorni, sezona je bila teška i naporna, pa i Crouseru koji je daleko od svog rekorda koliko i mi ostali od svojih. Kada bih ocjenjivao sezonu, rekao bih - četvorka. Da je u Tokiju bilo dobro bila bi i petica, jer bilo je i rekordnih 21.94 i medalja u dvorani. I drago mi je da sam konačno i u Zagrebu nakon godina bez uspjeha bacio 21 metar, da sam to ostvario u ovoj sjajnoj atmosferi kraj fontana - zaključio je Filip Mihaljević.

Olimpijski pobjednik i svjetski rekorder Amerikanac Ryan Crouser pobjednik je 7. Memorijala Ivana Ivančića u bacanju kugle koji je održan na bacalištu pokraj zagrebačkih fontana i Nacionalne i sveučilišne knjižnice.

Šestorica od desetorice najboljih na svijetu u ovom trenutku bili su na bacalištu pokraj fontana, sve tri olimpijske medalje iz Tokija na čelu s najboljim svjetskim bacačem u ovom trenutku i svjetskim rekorderom Ryanom Crouserom. Amerikanac je na koncu slavio s rezultatom 22.84 metara što je novi rekord mitinga, a svih šest njegovih hitaca išla su preko 22 metara.

Prošle godine je Crouser u Zagrebu bacio 22.74, što je bio najbolji hitac na tlu Europe u posljednjih 30 godina. U međuvremenu je taj "rekord" otišao u Lausanneu (22.81), no od danas je ponovo u Zagrebu. Dodajmo, kako je Crouser u lipnju ove godine u Eugeneu u američkoj saveznoj državi Oregon postavio novi svjetski rekord 23.37.

- Doista sam sretan, zadovoljan i ponosan na sve što sam uspio ove sezone. Drago mi je da sam u Zagrebu ostvario ovaj rezultat, jer je Zagreb zbog jedne posebne atmosfere miting na kojem se osjećam najbolje - kazao je Crouser nakon četvrte pobjede u Zagrebu.

U dosadašnjih sedam natjecanja na Memorijalu samo su dvojica bacača slavila - Crouser i bivši svjetski prvak Novozelanđanin Tomas Walsh. Novozelanđanin ima još jednu pobjedu na zagrebačkom mitingu prije nego što je nazvan po legendarnom "Ivanči", pa sada obojica imaju ukupno po četiri pobjede u Zagrebu.

- Osjetila se energija, ponijela nas je za dobro natjecanje na kraju ove sezone. Sada se vraćam kući i počinjem raditi za novu sezonu, jer bez rada se ne može do vrhunskih ostvarenja. Mislim da u smislu brzine i tehnike, te mentalno mogu još napredovati i vidimo se sljedeće sezone - rekao je sjajni Amerikanac.

Walsh je večeras bio drugi sa 22.39 metara, dok je treći bio Amerikanac Joe Kovacs sa 21.70. Srbin Armin Sinančević bio je četvrti sa 21.45, dok je hrvatski rekorder Filip Mihaljević osvojio peto mjesto s rezultatom 21.26.

- Zadovoljan sam, sezonu smo počeli preko 21 metar i završili na isti način. Svi smo već pomalo umorni, sezona je bila teška i naporna, pa i Crouseru koji je daleko od svog rekorda koliko i mi ostali od svojih. Kada bih ocjenjivao sezonu, rekao bih - četvorka. Da je u Tokiju bilo dobro bila bi i petica, jer bilo je i rekordnih 21.94 i medalja u dvorani. I drago mi je da sam konačno i u Zagrebu nakon godina bez uspjeha bacio 21 metar, da sam to ostvario u ovoj sjajnoj atmosferi kraj fontana - zaključio je Filip Mihaljević.

Olimpijski pobjednik i svjetski rekorder Amerikanac Ryan Crouser pobjednik je 7. Memorijala Ivana Ivančića u bacanju kugle koji je održan na bacalištu pokraj zagrebačkih fontana i Nacionalne i sveučilišne knjižnice.

Šestorica od desetorice najboljih na svijetu u ovom trenutku bili su na bacalištu pokraj fontana, sve tri olimpijske medalje iz Tokija na čelu s najboljim svjetskim bacačem u ovom trenutku i svjetskim rekorderom Ryanom Crouserom. Amerikanac je na koncu slavio s rezultatom 22.84 metara što je novi rekord mitinga, a svih šest njegovih hitaca išla su preko 22 metara.

Prošle godine je Crouser u Zagrebu bacio 22.74, što je bio najbolji hitac na tlu Europe u posljednjih 30 godina. U međuvremenu je taj "rekord" otišao u Lausanneu (22.81), no od danas je ponovo u Z...
