Olimpijski plamen, koji je zapaljen dan ranije tijekom svečanosti u grčkoj Olimpiji koju su nakratko prekinuli protibetanski demonstranti, predana je u utorak u Ateni organizatorima Zimskih olimpijskih igara u Pekingu 2022.

Predsjednik Grčkog olimpijskog odbora Spyros Kapralos predao je plamen potpredsjedniku Organizacijskog odbora Peking-2022 Yu Zaiqingu tijekom svečanosti na drevnom stadionu Panathenaiko, u sjeni Akropole.

Plamen je zapaljena sunčevom svjetlošću uz pomoć konkavnog zrcala na ostacima antičkog hrama u Olimpiji. Svečanosti paljenja plamena prisustvovali su samo predsjednik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomas Bach, grčka predsjednica Katerina Sakellaropoulou te predstavnici grčkog i kineskog olimpijskog odbora. 

Istodobno, Ujgurski i tibetanski aktivisti danas su zatražili od Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) da odgodi Zimske olimpijske igre u Pekingu zbog kršenja ljudskih prava. 

Kampanja, čiji je cilj istaknuti razne zloupotrebe kineskih vlasti, jača je od kampanje 2008. godine kada je Peking bio domaćin Ljetnih igara, jer sada okuplja zajednice Hong Konga, Tibeta, Ujgura, Južne Mongolije, Kine i Tajvana.

"MOO legitimira jedno od najgorih kršenja ljudskih prava u cijelom 21. stoljeću i zagađuje duh Igara", rekao je Pema Dom, direktor kampanje Studenti za slobodni Tibet.

Zimske igre u Pekingu održavaju se od 4. do 21. veljače, a na njima će sudjelovati oko 2.900 sportaša iz 85 zemalja.

Olimpijski plamen, koji je zapaljen dan ranije tijekom svečanosti u grčkoj Olimpiji koju su nakratko prekinuli protibetanski demonstranti, predana je u utorak u Ateni organizatorima Zimskih olimpijskih igara u Pekingu 2022.

Predsjednik Grčkog olimpijskog odbora Spyros Kapralos predao je plamen potpredsjedniku Organizacijskog odbora Peking-2022 Yu Zaiqingu tijekom svečanosti na drevnom stadionu Panathenaiko, u sjeni Akropole.

Plamen je zapaljena sunčevom svjetlošću uz pomoć konkavnog zrcala na ostacima antičkog hrama u Olimpiji. Svečanosti paljenja plamena prisustvovali su samo predsjednik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomas Bach, grčka predsjednica Katerina Sakellaropoulou te predstavnici grčkog i kineskog olimpijskog odbora. 

Istodobno, Ujgurski i tibetanski aktivisti danas su zatražili od Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) da odgodi Zimske olimpijske igre u Pekingu zbog kršenja ljudskih prava. 

Kampanja, čiji je cilj istaknuti razne zloupotrebe kineskih vlasti, jača je od kampanje 2008. godine kada je Peking bio domaćin Ljetnih igara, jer sada okuplja zajednice Hong Konga, Tibeta, Ujgura, Južne Mongolije, Kine i Tajvana.

"MOO legitimira jedno od najgorih kršenja ljudskih prava u cijelom 21. stoljeću i zagađuje duh Igara", rekao je Pema Dom, direktor kampanje Studenti za slobodni Tibet.

Zimske igre u Pekingu održavaju se od 4. do 21. veljače, a na njima će sudjelovati oko 2.900 sportaša iz 85 zemalja.

Olimpijski plamen predan Kinezima, aktivisti od MOO-a zatražili odgodu Zimskih olimpijskih igara zbog kršenja ljudskih prava

Olimpijski plamen, koji je zapaljen dan ranije tijekom svečanosti u grčkoj Olimpiji koju su nakratko prekinuli protibetanski demonstranti, predana je u utorak u Ateni organizatorima Zimskih olimpijskih igara u Pekingu 2022.

Predsjednik Grčkog olimpijskog odbora Spyros Kapralos predao je plamen potpredsjedniku Organizacijskog odbora Peking-2022 Yu Zaiqingu tijekom svečanosti na drevnom stadionu Panathenaiko, u sjeni Akropole.

Plamen je zapaljena sunčevom svjetlošću uz pomoć konkavnog zrcala na ostacima antičkog hrama u Olimpiji. Svečanosti paljenja plamena prisustvovali su samo predsjednik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) Thomas Bach, grčka predsjednica Katerina Sakellaropoulou te predstavnici grčkog i kineskog olimpijskog odbora.
