Organizatori Olimpijskih igara u Los Angelesu 2028 žele kriket, flag football, lacrosse, squash, kao i baseball i softball dodati u svoj olimpijski program, pišu svjetski mediji u ponedjeljak.

Preporuke organizatora bit će podvrgnute konačnom odobrenju Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO), sa zasjedanjem zakazanim za Mumbaiju kasnije ovog mjeseca, iako je Los Angeles Times izvijestio da će svi ti sportovi vjerojatno biti odobreni.

MOO nije odmah odgovorio na zahtjev za komentar, tvrdi Reuters.

Očekuje se da će organizatori Los Angeles 2028 objaviti svoje preporuke sljedeći dan, navodi Guardian.

Kriket se već jednom igrao na Olimpijskim igrama, u Parizu 1900., kada su Engleska i Francuska igrale jednu utakmicu za zlatnu medalju. Lacrosse je također kratko bio olimpijski sport početkom prošlog stoljeća.

Flag football, beskontaktna sportska varijanta američkog nogometa pet na pet, također je dobio podršku, što će oduševiti NFL, koji se zalagao za uključivanje američkog nogometa kao olimpijskog događaja, kako bi se povećao interes za tu igru u cijelom svijetu.

Baseball i softball su već bili u programu Igara u Tokiju, iako u je nejasno što je s ograničenjem Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora od 10.500 sportaša za svake OI. Ukoliko se program Igara neće proširiti, moglo bi se dogoditi da drugi sportovi moraju smanjiti broj sudionika.

Organizatori Olimpijskih igara u Los Angelesu 2028 žele kriket, flag football, lacrosse, squash, kao i baseball i softball dodati u svoj olimpijski program, pišu svjetski mediji u ponedjeljak.

Preporuke organizatora bit će podvrgnute konačnom odobrenju Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO), sa zasjedanjem zakazanim za Mumbaiju kasnije ovog mjeseca, iako je Los Angeles Times izvijestio da će svi ti sportovi vjerojatno biti odobreni.

MOO nije odmah odgovorio na zahtjev za komentar, tvrdi Reuters.

Očekuje se da će organizatori Los Angeles 2028 objaviti svoje preporuke sljedeći dan, navodi Guardian.

Kriket se već jednom igrao na Olimpijskim igrama, u Parizu 1900., kada su Engleska i Francuska igrale jednu utakmicu za zlatnu medalju. Lacrosse je također kratko bio olimpijski sport početkom prošlog stoljeća.

Flag football, beskontaktna sportska varijanta američkog nogometa pet na pet, također je dobio podršku, što će oduševiti NFL, koji se zalagao za uključivanje američkog nogometa kao olimpijskog događaja, kako bi se povećao interes za tu igru u cijelom svijetu.

Baseball i softball su već bili u programu Igara u Tokiju, iako u je nejasno što je s ograničenjem Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora od 10.500 sportaša za svake OI. Ukoliko se program Igara neće proširiti, moglo bi se dogoditi da drugi sportovi moraju smanjiti broj sudionika.

Nekoliko novih sportova na programu Igara u LA-u, neki sportaši će vjerovatno morati otpasti

Organizatori Olimpijskih igara u Los Angelesu 2028 žele kriket, flag football, lacrosse, squash, kao i baseball i softball dodati u svoj olimpijski program, pišu svjetski mediji u ponedjeljak.

Preporuke organizatora bit će podvrgnute konačnom odobrenju Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO), sa zasjedanjem zakazanim za Mumbaiju kasnije ovog mjeseca, iako je Los Angeles Times izvijestio da će svi ti sportovi vjerojatno biti odobreni.

MOO nije odmah odgovorio na zahtjev za komentar, tvrdi Reuters.

Očekuje se da će organizatori Los Angeles 2028 objaviti svoje preporuke sljedeći dan, navodi Guardian.

Kriket se već jednom igrao na Olimpijskim igrama, u Parizu 1900., kada su Engleska i Francuska igrale jednu utakmicu za zlatnu medalju. Lacrosse je također kratko bio olimpijski sport početkom prošlog stoljeća.

Flag football, beskontaktna sportska varijanta američkog nogometa pet na pet, također je dobio podršku, što će oduševiti NFL, koji se zalagao za uključivanje američkog nogometa kao olimpijskog događaja, kako bi se povećao interes za tu igru u cijelom svijetu.

Baseball i softball su već bili u programu Igara u Tokiju, iako u je nejasno što je s ograničenjem Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora od 10.500 sportaša za svake OI. Ukoliko se program Igara neće proširiti, moglo bi se dogoditi da drugi sportovi moraju smanjiti broj sudionika.
