Kina je u utorak priznala da je nova varijanta koronavirusa nazvana Omicron sinonim za dodatne poteškoće u organizaciji Zimskih olimpijskih igara koje će se u Pekingu održati od 4. do 20. veljače, ali ističe kako vjeruje da će ZOI ipak uspjeti.

"To će donijeti sigurno neke nove izazove, što se tiče borbe protiv epidemije", izjavio je na konferenciji za novinare Zhao Lijian, glasnogovornik kineskog ministarstva vanjskih poslova. 

"Ali Kina ima iskustva po tom pitanju i potpuno sam uvjeren da će se ZOI održati bez problema i kao što je predviđeno", istaknuo je.

Kina je dovela epidemiju pod kontrolu na svom teritoriju  zahvaljujući drakonskim mjerama: strogim ograničavanjem međunarodnih letova, obaveznom karantenom po dolasku u zemlju, masovnim testiranjima i izolacijom kontakata koji su bili identificirani preko aplikacija za praćenje.

Život se u Kini uvelike vratio u normalu na proljeće prošle godine, ali je zemlja i dalje suočena s pojavama sporadičnih žarišta. 

I dok su kineske granice praktički zatvorene od ožujka 2020. Zimske olimpijske igre u Pekingu će se održati u "sanitarnom balonu" iz kojeg će izaći samo oko 2.900 očekivanih sportaša.

Svi će sudionici trebati biti cijepljeni i morat će biti u karanteni 21 dan po dolasku u zemlju. Također, svi će biti testirani svakodnevno.

Sportske događaje moći će pratiti samo oni koji žive u Kini.

Kina zadnjih nekoliko tjedana ima po desetak novih slučajeva Covida-19 dnevno. Varijanta Omicron još nije otkrivena na kineskom teritoriju.

Kina je u utorak priznala da je nova varijanta koronavirusa nazvana Omicron sinonim za dodatne poteškoće u organizaciji Zimskih olimpijskih igara koje će se u Pekingu održati od 4. do 20. veljače, ali ističe kako vjeruje da će ZOI ipak uspjeti.

"To će donijeti sigurno neke nove izazove, što se tiče borbe protiv epidemije", izjavio je na konferenciji za novinare Zhao Lijian, glasnogovornik kineskog ministarstva vanjskih poslova. 

"Ali Kina ima iskustva po tom pitanju i potpuno sam uvjeren da će se ZOI održati bez problema i kao što je predviđeno", istaknuo je.

Kina je dovela epidemiju pod kontrolu na svom teritoriju  zahvaljujući drakonskim mjerama: strogim ograničavanjem međunarodnih letova, obaveznom karantenom po dolasku u zemlju, masovnim testiranjima i izolacijom kontakata koji su bili identificirani preko aplikacija za praćenje.

Život se u Kini uvelike vratio u normalu na proljeće prošle godine, ali je zemlja i dalje suočena s pojavama sporadičnih žarišta. 

I dok su kineske granice praktički zatvorene od ožujka 2020. Zimske olimpijske igre u Pekingu će se održati u "sanitarnom balonu" iz kojeg će izaći samo oko 2.900 očekivanih sportaša.

Svi će sudionici trebati biti cijepljeni i morat će biti u karanteni 21 dan po dolasku u zemlju. Također, svi će biti testirani svakodnevno.

Sportske događaje moći će pratiti samo oni koji žive u Kini.

Kina zadnjih nekoliko tjedana ima po desetak novih slučajeva Covida-19 dnevno. Varijanta Omicron još nije otkrivena na kineskom teritoriju.

Kina je u utorak priznala da je nova varijanta koronavirusa nazvana Omicron sinonim za dodatne poteškoće u organizaciji Zimskih olimpijskih igara koje će se u Pekingu održati od 4. do 20. veljače, ali ističe kako vjeruje da će ZOI ipak uspjeti.

"To će donijeti sigurno neke nove izazove, što se tiče borbe protiv epidemije", izjavio je na konferenciji za novinare Zhao Lijian, glasnogovornik kineskog ministarstva vanjskih poslova. 

"Ali Kina ima iskustva po tom pitanju i potpuno sam uvjeren da će se ZOI održati bez problema i kao što je predviđeno", istaknuo je.

Kina je dovela epidemiju pod kontrolu na svom teritoriju  zahvaljujući drakonskim mjerama: strogim ograničavanjem međunarodnih letova, obaveznom karantenom po dolasku u zemlju, masovnim testiranjima i izolacijom kontaka...
