Amerikanac Ryan Crouser hitnuo je u ponedjeljak na Zagrebačkim fontanama kuglu do 22,84 metra ili novog rekorda Memorijala Ivan Ivančić. Njegovo ukupno četvrto slavlje u Zagrebu. Fina se kolekcija ZG trofeja nakupila u Oregonu, državi iz koje dolazi.
Ili možda baš i ne...
Naime, onaj koji je Ryan Crouser osvojio u ponedjeljak u našem glavnom gradu danas se nalazi u - Pučišćima na Braču!? “Krivac” je jedan nadareni mali - hm, baš i nije jako mali - iz navedenog mjesta, pišu Sportske novosti.
Stjepan Stipe Drpić ili Puška, kako ga zovu, učenik je 6. razreda osnovne škole u Pučišćima i vrlo nadareni bacač kugle. U ponedjeljak je u Zagrebu postao praktički prvak države u kugli, budući da je na natjecanju Erste plava liga osvojio prvo mjesto hitnuvši kuglu 9,76 metara. Samo dometnimo da je drugoplasirani imao rezultat od 8,88 metara. Tek za dočarati Puškinu nadmoć. Uz to, nije to Stipi ni najbolji hitac jer mu je rekord 10,02, što je bacio bio u Makarskoj.
No, vratimo se mi Stipi, Ryanu i kako je trofej dospio do Pučišća...
- Gledali smo, jasno, natjecanje u bacanju kugle na Fontanama i kada je završilo Stipe se poželio fotografirati s Crouserom. Nisam mislio da ćemo baš uspjeti, ali išli smo probati - rekao je Frane Drpić, profesor tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture u OŠ Pučišća, te Stjepanov trener. Inače, nisu u srodstvu, već samo prezimenjaci.
Tako su trener i mali sportaš Drpić došli do Ryana Crousera. I dakako, nije bilo problema s fotografiranjem, a komunikativnom Amerikancu se jasno posebno dopalo kada je čuo da mali također trenira bacanje kugle i da je i on osvojio prvo mjesto. Pa još i kako se zove...
- Stipe? Oh, like Stipe Žunić - rekao je Crouser i odmah “bacio” ponudu.
- Čuj, a je l’ bi ti želio uzeti ovaj moj trofej i odnijeti doma? Ja ga ionako ne mogu unijeti na let.
Jasno da je Stipin odgovor bio pozitivan. Priupitali smo dan kasnije i “malog” Stipu za komentar, osjećaje...
- Bilo je super. Iznenadio sam se kada mi je ponudio trofej. Kakav je Ryan? Pa ono, kao običan čovjek, samo je velik - originalno će i iskreno Stipe “Puška” Drpić.
Za Stjepanov sadašnji sam početak sportskog puta skrbi profesor u školi, spomenuti Frane Drpić.
- Stipini roditelji su me zamolili, kada je on bio u 2. razredu, da zbog malog viška kilograma počnem s njime malo raditi, trenirati. Vidio sam da je sa svim tim viškom kilograma jako eksplozivan. Nismo u to doba radili kuglu jer nisu to godine za takvu disciplinu kod djece. Bio je on u drugim sportovima, od nogometa pa do vaterpola, gdje i danas igra za Pučišća, centra dakako. Počeo je skidati kile, sportski se razvijati, dok smo posljednjuh godinu dana počeli malo ozbiljnije raditi.
Jedino što, jasno, u Pučišćima za atletiku baš i nema uvjeta, ali znali su se sjajno prilagoditi.
- Imamo poluuvjete. Sve preko škole. U početku sam na kraj parkirališta, na betonu, nacrtao krug, te je bacao kuglu izvan parkinga, na makadam. Označio sam duljine i to je to. E, onda je došlo ljeto, turisti, parkiralište jasno zauzeto, pa nam je Stjepanov otac izlio betonom krug, a malo smo raskrčili par metara terena, pokosili travu i sad ondje trenira - veli Stipin trener, školski profesor tjelesnog, posljednjih godinu i razrednik, Frane Drpić.
Zgodna priča o jednom trofeju s velikog seniorskog natjecanja koji je osvanuo u Pučišćima, ali i poticajna za jednog nadarenog 12-godišnjaka, za njegov daljnji sportski rad, napore i, nadamo se, buduće uspjehe. Nadalje, pokazatelj svima u Hrvatskoj kako se s voljom, željom i improvizacijom može napraviti usred polja ponekad neko početno borilište. No, neka ovo bude i lagani poticaj općinskim vlastima u Pučišćima. Imate u svojem mjestu jednog dječala, ali sigurno i više za sport nadarene djece. Pomozite im malo, dajte im ruku.

Amerikanac Ryan Crouser hitnuo je u ponedjeljak na Zagrebačkim fontanama kuglu do 22,84 metra ili novog rekorda Memorijala Ivan Ivančić. Njegovo ukupno četvrto slavlje u Zagrebu. Fina se kolekcija ZG trofeja nakupila u Oregonu, državi iz koje dolazi.
Ili možda baš i ne...
Naime, onaj koji je Ryan Crouser osvojio u ponedjeljak u našem glavnom gradu danas se nalazi u - Pučišćima na Braču!? “Krivac” je jedan nadareni mali - hm, baš i nije jako mali - iz navedenog mjesta, pišu Sportske novosti.
Stjepan Stipe Drpić ili Puška, kako ga zovu, učenik je 6. razreda osnovne škole u Pučišćima i vrlo nadareni bacač kugle. U ponedjeljak je u Zagrebu postao praktički prvak države u kugli, budući da je na natjecanju Erste plava liga osvojio prvo mjesto hitnuvši kuglu 9,76 metara. Samo dometnimo da je drugoplasirani imao rezultat od 8,88 metara. Tek za dočarati Puškinu nadmoć. Uz to, nije to Stipi ni najbolji hitac jer mu je rekord 10,02, što je bacio bio u Makarskoj.
No, vratimo se mi Stipi, Ryanu i kako je trofej dospio do Pučišća...
- Gledali smo, jasno, natjecanje u bacanju kugle na Fontanama i kada je završilo Stipe se poželio fotografirati s Crouserom. Nisam mislio da ćemo baš uspjeti, ali išli smo probati - rekao je Frane Drpić, profesor tjelesne i zdravstvene kulture u OŠ Pučišća, te Stjepanov trener. Inače, nisu u srodstvu, već samo prezimenjaci.
Tako su trener i mali sportaš Drpić došli do Ryana Crousera. I dakako, nije bilo problema s fotografiranjem, a komunikativnom Amerikancu se jasno posebno dopalo kada je čuo da mali također trenira bacanje kugle i da je i on osvojio prvo mjesto. Pa još i kako se zove...
- Stipe? Oh, like Stipe Žunić - rekao je Crouser i odmah “bacio” ponudu.
- Čuj, a je l’ bi ti želio uzeti ovaj moj trofej i odnijeti doma? Ja ga ionako ne mogu unijeti na let.
Jasno da je Stipin odgovor bio pozitivan. Priupitali smo dan kasnije i “malog” Stipu za komentar, osjećaje...
- Bilo je super. Iznenadio sam se kada mi je ponudio trofej. Kakav je Ryan? Pa ono, kao običan čovjek, samo je velik - originalno će i iskreno Stipe “Puška” Drpić.
Za Stjepanov sadašnji sam početak sportskog puta skrbi profesor u školi, spomenuti Frane Drpić.
- Stipini roditelji su me zamolili, kada je on bio u 2. razredu, da zbog malog viška kilograma počnem s njime malo raditi, trenirati. Vidio sam da je sa svim tim viškom kilograma jako eksplozivan. Nismo u to doba radili kuglu jer nisu to godine za takvu disciplinu kod djece. Bio je on u drugim sportovima, od nogometa pa do vaterpola, gdje i danas igra za Pučišća, centra dakako. Počeo je skidati kile, sportski se razvijati, dok smo posljednjuh godinu dana počeli malo ozbiljnije raditi.
Jedino što, jasno, u Pučišćima za atletiku baš i nema uvjeta, ali znali su se sjajno prilagoditi.
- Imamo poluuvjete. Sve preko škole. U početku sam na kraj parkirališta, na betonu, nacrtao krug, te je bacao kuglu izvan parkinga, na makadam. Označio sam duljine i to je to. E, onda je došlo ljeto, turisti, parkiralište jasno zauzeto, pa nam je Stjepanov otac izlio betonom krug, a malo smo raskrčili par metara terena, pokosili travu i sad ondje trenira - veli Stipin trener, školski profesor tjelesnog, posljednjih godinu i razrednik, Frane Drpić.
Zgodna priča o jednom trofeju s velikog seniorskog natjecanja koji je osvanuo u Pučišćima, ali i poticajna za jednog nadarenog 12-godišnjaka, za njegov daljnji sportski rad, napore i, nadamo se, buduće uspjehe. Nadalje, pokazatelj svima u Hrvatskoj kako se s voljom, željom i improvizacijom može napraviti usred polja ponekad neko početno borilište. No, neka ovo bude i lagani poticaj općinskim vlastima u Pučišćima. Imate u svojem mjestu jednog dječala, ali sigurno i više za sport nadarene djece. Pomozite im malo, dajte im ruku.
