Bivši predsjednik Međunarodnog atletskog saveza, sada 87-godišnji Lamine Diack osuđen je u srijedu u Francuskoj na četiri godine zatvora, od toga dvije uvjetno, zbog korupcije u slučaju prikrivanja dopinškog skandala koji je potresao rusku atletiku.

Diack je osuđen zbog prihvaćanja ruskog novca za financiranje predsjedničke kampanje Mackyja Salla na predsjedničkim izborima u Senegalu 2012. godine u zajenu za usporavanje antidopinških procedura.

Tužiteljstvo je navelo kako je Diack primio gotovo 3.5 milijuna eura mita od sportaša koji su bili osumnjičeni za korištenje dopinga. Time je "potkopao atletske vrijednosti i borbu protiv dopinga".

Uz zatvorsku kaznu, Diack će morati i platiti maksimalnu novčanu kaznu od 500,000 eura. Diack je bio na čelu tadašnjeg IAAF-a, sada WA-a, od 1999. do 2015. godine.

Bivši predsjednik Međunarodnog atletskog saveza, sada 87-godišnji Lamine Diack osuđen je u srijedu u Francuskoj na četiri godine zatvora, od toga dvije uvjetno, zbog korupcije u slučaju prikrivanja dopinškog skandala koji je potresao rusku atletiku.

Diack je osuđen zbog prihvaćanja ruskog novca za financiranje predsjedničke kampanje Mackyja Salla na predsjedničkim izborima u Senegalu 2012. godine u zajenu za usporavanje antidopinških procedura.

Tužiteljstvo je navelo kako je Diack primio gotovo 3.5 milijuna eura mita od sportaša koji su bili osumnjičeni za korištenje dopinga. Time je "potkopao atletske vrijednosti i borbu protiv dopinga".

Uz zatvorsku kaznu, Diack će morati i platiti maksimalnu novčanu kaznu od 500,000 eura. Diack je bio na čelu tadašnjeg IAAF-a, sada WA-a, od 1999. do 2015. godine.

Bivši predsjednik Međunarodnog atletskog saveza, sada 87-godišnji Lamine Diack osuđen je u srijedu u Francuskoj na četiri godine zatvora, od toga dvije uvjetno, zbog korupcije u slučaju prikrivanja dopinškog skandala koji je potresao rusku atletiku.

Diack je osuđen zbog prihvaćanja ruskog novca za financiranje predsjedničke kampanje Mackyja Salla na predsjedničkim izborima u Senegalu 2012. godine u zajenu za usporavanje antidopinških procedura.

Tužiteljstvo je navelo kako je Diack primio gotovo 3.5 milijuna eura mita od sportaša koji su bili osumnjičeni za korištenje dopinga. Time je "potkopao atletske vrijednosti i borbu protiv dopinga".

Uz zatvorsku kaznu, Diack će morati i platiti maksimalnu novčanu kaznu od 500,000 eura. Diack je bio na čelu tadašnjeg IAAF-a, sada WA-a,...
