Šest europskih država Cipar, Finska, Mađarska, Latvija, Rusija i Ukrajina podnijele su zajedničku kandidaturu za domaćinstvo ​​EuroBasketa 2025., objavljeno je u utorak na FIBA-inim stranicama.

Za to 42. izdanje europskog prvenstva, koje bi se trebalo održati u rujnu 2025., kandidaturu za grupnu fazu natjecanja, ali i za završnu podnijele su Latvija, Mađarska, Rusija i Ukrajina, dok su Cipar i Finska u međuvremenu podnijeli kandidature samo za organizaciju grupne faze.

Finska je bila jedna od četiri zemlje koje su ugostile EuroBasket 2017. godine, dok je Latvija bila domaćin grupne faze izdanja natjecanja 2015. godine.

Mađarska i Ukrajina također su ranije pokazale interes za organizaciju ovog događaja, ali još nisu bili domaćini vrhunskog europskog košarkaškog natjecanja. 

- Zadovoljni smo što vidimo tako snažnu želju među našim nacionalnim savezima da ponovno organiziraju EuroBasket. Format za više domaćina, koji smo uveli 2015., pokazao se vrlo uspješnim i nije samo pomogao da EuroBasket raste kao natjecanje već je potaknuo razvoj sporta diljem kontinenta - rekao je izvršni direktor FIBA ​​-e za Europu Kamil Novak.

Odluka o domaćinu bit će donesena na FIBA-inom proljetnom sastanku 2022. godine.

Sljedeće europsko košarkaško prvenstvo održat će se od 1. do 18. rujna 2022. u Češkoj, Gruziji, Njemačkoj i Italiji.

Šest europskih država Cipar, Finska, Mađarska, Latvija, Rusija i Ukrajina podnijele su zajedničku kandidaturu za domaćinstvo ​​EuroBasketa 2025., objavljeno je u utorak na FIBA-inim stranicama.

Za to 42. izdanje europskog prvenstva, koje bi se trebalo održati u rujnu 2025., kandidaturu za grupnu fazu natjecanja, ali i za završnu podnijele su Latvija, Mađarska, Rusija i Ukrajina, dok su Cipar i Finska u međuvremenu podnijeli kandidature samo za organizaciju grupne faze.

Finska je bila jedna od četiri zemlje koje su ugostile EuroBasket 2017. godine, dok je Latvija bila domaćin grupne faze izdanja natjecanja 2015. godine.

Mađarska i Ukrajina također su ranije pokazale interes za organizaciju ovog događaja, ali još nisu bili domaćini vrhunskog europskog košarkaškog natjecanja. 

- Zadovoljni smo što vidimo tako snažnu želju među našim nacionalnim savezima da ponovno organiziraju EuroBasket. Format za više domaćina, koji smo uveli 2015., pokazao se vrlo uspješnim i nije samo pomogao da EuroBasket raste kao natjecanje već je potaknuo razvoj sporta diljem kontinenta - rekao je izvršni direktor FIBA ​​-e za Europu Kamil Novak.

Odluka o domaćinu bit će donesena na FIBA-inom proljetnom sastanku 2022. godine.

Sljedeće europsko košarkaško prvenstvo održat će se od 1. do 18. rujna 2022. u Češkoj, Gruziji, Njemačkoj i Italiji.

Šest država kandidira se za domaćina Eurobasketa 2025.: dvije samo za grupnu fazu, a četiri i za završnu fazu natjecanja

Šest europskih država Cipar, Finska, Mađarska, Latvija, Rusija i Ukrajina podnijele su zajedničku kandidaturu za domaćinstvo ​​EuroBasketa 2025., objavljeno je u utorak na FIBA-inim stranicama.

Za to 42. izdanje europskog prvenstva, koje bi se trebalo održati u rujnu 2025., kandidaturu za grupnu fazu natjecanja, ali i za završnu podnijele su Latvija, Mađarska, Rusija i Ukrajina, dok su Cipar i Finska u međuvremenu podnijeli kandidature samo za organizaciju grupne faze.

Finska je bila jedna od četiri zemlje koje su ugostile EuroBasket 2017. godine, dok je Latvija bila domaćin grupne faze izdanja natjecanja 2015. godine.

Mađarska i Ukrajina također su ranije pokazale interes za organizaciju ovog događaja, ali još nisu bili domaćini vrhunskog europskog košarkaškog natjecanja...
