Ždrijeb je košarkašima Splita za protivnika u današnjem polufinalu Kupa Krešimira Ćosića u Rijeci donio Cedevitu Junior.
Na prvu bi se reklo da su „žuti” dobro prošli jer su izbjegli Cibonu i Zadar, ali već je Cedevita ove sezone svladala sastav s Gripa. Uz to na tablici HT Premijer lige momčad novopečenog izbornika Damira Mulaomerovića ima poraz manje od „vukova” i branitelja trofeja Zadra, samo jedan više od Splita. Tako da je svaka priča o tome kako će Split lako ili lakše do finala - prazna priča.
- Nema tu neke velike razlike u ždrijebu. Možda na papiru Cedevita pari najslabija zato šta ipak ne igra ABA ligu, ali pokazali su u domaćem prvenstvu koliko su neugodni. Izgubili smo u prvom kolu od njih. Tad smo bili u skroz drugoj postavi i nije ta utakmica baš neko mjerilo, ali sa svim rezultatima i samo četiri poraza u ligi pokazali su da su ozbiljan protivnik. Smatramo se favoritima s obzirom na renome momčadi, ne tribamo bižat od toga, ali moramo znat da nećemo dobit utakmicu ako ne budemo pravi – naglasio je Roko Leni Ukić, uz kapetana Matea Kedžu najiskusniji od „žutih”.
Nema Jonesa, Perkovića...
Mulaomerović je za svoju momčad rekao da kao autsajderi dolaze na završnicu. No, Zagrepčani imaju čak tri reprezentativca Hrvatske u rosteru, Filip Bundovića, Gorana Filipovića i Josipa Batinića, a daju i kao izbornika.
- To je klasična pila naopako, ali reka bih da po meni to čak i nije neko mjerilo je li neka momčad bolja ili lošija. Mi smo bolja momčad, ali ako ne budemo pravi, ako im pustimo da trču, ako pokažu više energije, to neće završit dobro za nas – upozorio je Ukić.
Na pitanje o izgledima, danas i za podizanje trofeja, jer Cibona zbog dobre forme slovi za blagog favorita Kupa, Ukić je kazao.
- Izgledi su izjednačeni. Cibona ima zasluženo status favorita jer zadnjih misec dana igra jako dobro od promjene trenera. Dobili su sedam utakmica zaredom i to triba respektirat. Nas su jako lagano dobili u Zagrebu. Ako gledamo dalje i ako se eventualno nađemo u finalu nama je to razlog da budemo još motiviraniji zbog te naše loše utakmice.
Hendikep Splita je što najumorniji ulaze u završni turnir. Iza Splita su već tri utakmice u zadnjih tjedan dana. Uđu li u finale odigrat će ih pet u razmaku od osam dana. Jedino je Split igrao Final Eight kupa, nakon pobjede u četvrtfinalu nad Goricom u srijedu ukrcali su se „žuti” u autobus i pravac Rijeka. A zbog ozljeda nema i dalje Shawna Jonesa, Tonija Perkovića...
- Umorni smo, mi smo jedini igrali u sridu. Nije to baš skroz regularno, ali tako je kako je. Morali smo rješavat neke nadoknade. Imamo i dalje problema sa izostancima, krpamo se, ali s obzirom šta je bilo na početku sezone sad je to još i ok.
Osvojio si sa Splitom kup u Zadru još 2004. godine. Lani se Zadar revanširao u finalu u Omišu. Što bi dao da opet sa svojim Splitom osvojiš kup?
- Uopće ne razmišljam o tome. Takve misli su distrakcija u glavi, nisu dobar saveznik. O tome ću razmišljat ako se to eventualno dogodi – poručio je Ukić.

Ždrijeb je košarkašima Splita za protivnika u današnjem polufinalu Kupa Krešimira Ćosića u Rijeci donio Cedevitu Junior.
Na prvu bi se reklo da su „žuti” dobro prošli jer su izbjegli Cibonu i Zadar, ali već je Cedevita ove sezone svladala sastav s Gripa. Uz to na tablici HT Premijer lige momčad novopečenog izbornika Damira Mulaomerovića ima poraz manje od „vukova” i branitelja trofeja Zadra, samo jedan više od Splita. Tako da je svaka priča o tome kako će Split lako ili lakše do finala - prazna priča.
- Nema tu neke velike razlike u ždrijebu. Možda na papiru Cedevita pari najslabija zato šta ipak ne igra ABA ligu, ali pokazali su u domaćem prvenstvu koliko su neugodni. Izgubili smo u prvom kolu od njih. Tad smo bili u skroz drugoj postavi i nije ta utakmica baš neko mjerilo, ali sa svim rezultatima i samo četiri poraza u ligi pokazali su da su ozbiljan protivnik. Smatramo se favoritima s obzirom na renome momčadi, ne tribamo bižat od toga, ali moramo znat da nećemo dobit utakmicu ako ne budemo pravi – naglasio je Roko Leni Ukić, uz kapetana Matea Kedžu najiskusniji od „žutih”.

Mulaomerović je za svoju momčad rekao da kao autsajderi dolaze na završnicu. No, Zagrepčani imaju čak tri reprezentativca Hrvatske u rosteru, Filip Bundovića, Gorana Filipovića i Josipa Batinića, a daju i kao izbornika.
- To je klasična pila naopako, ali reka bih da po meni to čak i nije neko mjerilo je li neka momčad bolja ili lošija. Mi smo bolja momčad, ali ako ne budemo pravi, ako im pustimo da trču, ako pokažu više energije, to neće završit dobro za nas – upozorio je Ukić.
Na pitanje o izgledima, danas i za podizanje trofeja, jer Cibona zbog dobre forme slovi za blagog favorita Kupa, Ukić je kazao.
- Izgledi su izjednačeni. Cibona ima zasluženo status favorita jer zadnjih misec dana igra jako dobro od promjene trenera. Dobili su sedam utakmica zaredom i to triba respektirat. Nas su jako lagano dobili u Zagrebu. Ako gledamo dalje i ako se eventualno nađemo u finalu nama je to razlog da budemo još motiviraniji zbog te naše loše utakmice.
Hendikep Splita je što najumorniji ulaze u završni turnir. Iza Splita su već tri utakmice u zadnjih tjedan dana. Uđu li u finale odigrat će ih pet u razmaku od osam dana. Jedino je Split igrao Final Eight kupa, nakon pobjede u četvrtfinalu nad Goricom u srijedu ukrcali su se „žuti” u autobus i pravac Rijeka. A zbog ozljeda nema i dalje Shawna Jonesa, Tonija Perkovića...
- Umorni smo, mi smo jedini igrali u sridu. Nije to baš skroz regularno, ali tako je kako je. Morali smo rješavat neke nadoknade. Imamo i dalje problema sa izostancima, krpamo se, ali s obzirom šta je bilo na početku sezone sad je to još i ok.
Osvojio si sa Splitom kup u Zadru još 2004. godine. Lani se Zadar revanširao u finalu u Omišu. Što bi dao da opet sa svojim Splitom osvojiš kup?
- Uopće ne razmišljam o tome. Takve misli su distrakcija u glavi, nisu dobar saveznik. O tome ću razmišljat ako se to eventualno dogodi – poručio je Ukić.
