Zvijezda Milwaukee Bucksa Giannis Antetokounmpo proglašen je u utorak najboljim obrambenim igračem NBA ove sezone.

Antetokounmpo je sakupio ukupno 432 bodova u izboru u kojem je sudjelovalo 100 sportskih novinara iz tiskanih i elektronskih medija. Anthony Davis (LA Lakers) je bio drugi sa 200 bodova, a Rudy Gobert iz Utah Jazza treći sa 187 bodova. 

Gobert je prošle dvije sezone proglašavan najboljim obrambenim igračem, dok je Antetokounmpo prošle godine bio drugi. 

Statistički podaci koji su uzeti u obzir za izbor odnosili su se na razdoblje do 11. ožujka kada je zbog pandemije koronavirusa sezona prekinuta.

Antetokounmpo je do tada imao prosjek do 13.7 skokova- uključujući 11.5 obrambenih skokova- kao i 1.04 ukradenu loptu i 1.02 bloka po utakmici te se ovom nagradom priključio Sidneyu Moncriefu (1982./83. i 1983./84.) kao jedini igrač Milwaukeea koji je proglašen najboljim obrambenim igračem. 

"Želim zahvaliti svojim suigračima", izjavio je Antetokounmpo za TNT. "Bez suigrača ovo ne bi bilo moguće. Znam da je moje ime na ovom trofeju, ali moglo bi biti i njihovo."

Antetokounmpo je također finalist, drugu godinu zaredom, u izboru za najkorisnijeg igrača MVP.

Do sada su samo Michael Jordan (1987./88.) i Hakeem Olajuwon (1993./94.) bili prglašeni najboljim igračem NBA i najboljim obrambenim igračem iste godine.

Zvijezda Milwaukee Bucksa Giannis Antetokounmpo proglašen je u utorak najboljim obrambenim igračem NBA ove sezone.

Antetokounmpo je sakupio ukupno 432 bodova u izboru u kojem je sudjelovalo 100 sportskih novinara iz tiskanih i elektronskih medija. Anthony Davis (LA Lakers) je bio drugi sa 200 bodova, a Rudy Gobert iz Utah Jazza treći sa 187 bodova. 

Gobert je prošle dvije sezone proglašavan najboljim obrambenim igračem, dok je Antetokounmpo prošle godine bio drugi. 

Statistički podaci koji su uzeti u obzir za izbor odnosili su se na razdoblje do 11. ožujka kada je zbog pandemije koronavirusa sezona prekinuta.

Antetokounmpo je do tada imao prosjek do 13.7 skokova- uključujući 11.5 obrambenih skokova- kao i 1.04 ukradenu loptu i 1.02 bloka po utakmici te se ovom nagradom priključio Sidneyu Moncriefu (1982./83. i 1983./84.) kao jedini igrač Milwaukeea koji je proglašen najboljim obrambenim igračem. 

"Želim zahvaliti svojim suigračima", izjavio je Antetokounmpo za TNT. "Bez suigrača ovo ne bi bilo moguće. Znam da je moje ime na ovom trofeju, ali moglo bi biti i njihovo."

Antetokounmpo je također finalist, drugu godinu zaredom, u izboru za najkorisnijeg igrača MVP.

Do sada su samo Michael Jordan (1987./88.) i Hakeem Olajuwon (1993./94.) bili prglašeni najboljim igračem NBA i najboljim obrambenim igračem iste godine.

Zvijezda Milwaukee Bucksa Giannis Antetokounmpo proglašen je u utorak najboljim obrambenim igračem NBA ove sezone.

Antetokounmpo je sakupio ukupno 432 bodova u izboru u kojem je sudjelovalo 100 sportskih novinara iz tiskanih i elektronskih medija. Anthony Davis (LA Lakers) je bio drugi sa 200 bodova, a Rudy Gobert iz Utah Jazza treći sa 187 bodova. 

Gobert je prošle dvije sezone proglašavan najboljim obrambenim igračem, dok je Antetokounmpo prošle godine bio drugi. 

Statistički podaci koji su uzeti u obzir za izbor odnosili su se na razdoblje do 11. ožujka kada je zbog pandemije koronavirusa sezona prekinuta.

Antetokounmpo je do tada imao prosjek do 13.7 skokova- uključujući 11.5 obrambenih skokova- kao i 1.04 ukradenu loptu i 1.02 bloka po utakmici te se ovom nagradom priključio...
