Donedavni vezni igrač splitskog Hajduka Lukas Grgić (28) postao je stalni član udarne momčadi bečkog Rapida, kod trenera Roberta Klaußa. Grgić ne samo da se ustalio u momčadi, već je postao i važan član bečkih Zelenih.

Podsjetimo, nakon godinu i pol provedenih u Hajduku, Grgić se vratio u Austriju, u kojoj je i rođen i u kojoj mu je uglavnom i tekla dosadašnja igračka karijera. U kolovozu prošle godine pristupio je najtrofejnijem sportskom kolektivu u Austriji, bečkom Rapidu, s kojim je potpisao ugovor do 2026, pišu Sportske novosti.

Igrali ste hrvatski derbi Hajduka i Dinama, možete li usporediti atmosferu oko hrvatskog i bečkog derbija s Austrijom Beč?

- Teško mi je to usporediti iako sam igrao 3-4 hrvatska velika derbija. Split je manji grad od Beča, pa je sva ta euforija zbijenija i s većim nabojem, zanosom, zapravo, više se osjeti i u svakom dijelu grada, nego ovdje u većem Beču. Naš mentalitet je žešći, uočljivije su emocije, strast... Nije ni ovdje sve nabrojano slabije, ali u većem gradu manje se susrećemo s tim temama vezanim za derbi. Mi u Rapidu imamo svoj trening centar koji nam daj mir, radimo u tišini i bez pritiska.

Bilo je iznenađenje kad ste prošlog ljeta napustili Hajduk unatoč ugovoru do 2026. i otišli u Rapid?

- Imao sam nekakvih zdravstvenih problema, ozljeda, a sve to nije svojstveno meni, bio sam inače redovito zdrav, spreman. Tražio sam promjenu, supruga je bila trudna, pred porodom, Rapid me želio, da vam dalje ne nabrajam. Moram naglasiti da mene nitko iz Hajduka nije tjerao, to je bila moja vlastita odluka. Meni je u Hajduku i Splitu bilo sjajno, proveo sam nezaboravnu godinu i pol u mom klubu, za koji navijam. Kontakti su ostali i dan danas. Iskreno, bili su uvijek uz mene, privatno i sportski, svi odreda u klubu i oko kluba. Bili su i ostali ljudi! Hvala im i na ovaj skromni način! Sin mi se trebao roditi u Splitu, dao sam mu ime Adrijan-Duje...

Jeste li zadovoljni u Rapidu, u početku niste standardno igrali?

- Kod novog trenera sam stalni član početne jedanaestorice i skroz sam zadovoljan. Međutim, prethodno sam imao i zdravstveni problem, o kojem sam vam već govorio. Dogodila mi se upala srčanog mišića i to me izbacilo iz ritma, trebalo je vremena da se vratim. No, sada je, Bogu hvala, sve OK! Rapid je veliki klub, traže se samo pobjede, uspjesi i trofeji, borba je stalna. Ljudi koji prate nogometne događaje vide nas na dan utakmice, u ostalim danima ne znaju kako nam je, privatno i sportski, a očekivanja kod svih su ogromna.

Donedavni vezni igrač splitskog Hajduka Lukas Grgić (28) postao je stalni član udarne momčadi bečkog Rapida, kod trenera Roberta Klaußa. Grgić ne samo da se ustalio u momčadi, već je postao i važan član bečkih Zelenih.

Podsjetimo, nakon godinu i pol provedenih u Hajduku, Grgić se vratio u Austriju, u kojoj je i rođen i u kojoj mu je uglavnom i tekla dosadašnja igračka karijera. U kolovozu prošle godine pristupio je najtrofejnijem sportskom kolektivu u Austriji, bečkom Rapidu, s kojim je potpisao ugovor do 2026, pišu Sportske novosti.

Igrali ste hrvatski derbi Hajduka i Dinama, možete li usporediti atmosferu oko hrvatskog i bečkog derbija s Austrijom Beč?

- Teško mi je to usporediti iako sam igrao 3-4 hrvatska velika derbija. Split je manji grad od Beča, pa je sva ta euforija zbijenija i s većim nabojem, zanosom, zapravo, više se osjeti i u svakom dijelu grada, nego ovdje u većem Beču. Naš mentalitet je žešći, uočljivije su emocije, strast... Nije ni ovdje sve nabrojano slabije, ali u većem gradu manje se susrećemo s tim temama vezanim za derbi. Mi u Rapidu imamo svoj trening centar koji nam daj mir, radimo u tišini i bez pritiska.

Bilo je iznenađenje kad ste prošlog ljeta napustili Hajduk unatoč ugovoru do 2026. i otišli u Rapid?

- Imao sam nekakvih zdravstvenih problema, ozljeda, a sve to nije svojstveno meni, bio sam inače redovito zdrav, spreman. Tražio sam promjenu, supruga je bila trudna, pred porodom, Rapid me želio, da vam dalje ne nabrajam. Moram naglasiti da mene nitko iz Hajduka nije tjerao, to je bila moja vlastita odluka. Meni je u Hajduku i Splitu bilo sjajno, proveo sam nezaboravnu godinu i pol u mom klubu, za koji navijam. Kontakti su ostali i dan danas. Iskreno, bili su uvijek uz mene, privatno i sportski, svi odreda u klubu i oko kluba. Bili su i ostali ljudi! Hvala im i na ovaj skromni način! Sin mi se trebao roditi u Splitu, dao sam mu ime Adrijan-Duje...

UPALA SRČANOG MIŠIĆA ME IZBACILA IZ RITMA, ALI SADA SAM DOBRO

Jeste li zadovoljni u Rapidu, u početku niste standardno igrali?

- Kod novog trenera sam stalni član početne jedanaestorice i skroz sam zadovoljan. Međutim, prethodno sam imao i zdravstveni problem, o kojem sam vam već govorio. Dogodila mi se upala srčanog mišića i to me izbacilo iz ritma, trebalo je vremena da se vratim. No, sada je, Bogu hvala, sve OK! Rapid je veliki klub, traže se samo pobjede, uspjesi i trofeji, borba je stalna. Ljudi koji prate nogometne događaje vide nas na dan utakmice, u ostalim danima ne znaju kako nam je, privatno i sportski, a očekivanja kod svih su ogromna.

Donedavni vezni igrač splitskog Hajduka Lukas Grgić (28) postao je stalni član udarne momčadi bečkog Rapida, kod trenera Roberta Klaußa. Grgić ne samo da se ustalio u momčadi, već je postao i važan član bečkih Zelenih.

Podsjetimo, nakon godinu i pol provedenih u Hajduku, Grgić se vratio u Austriju, u kojoj je i rođen i u kojoj mu je uglavnom i tekla dosadašnja igračka karijera. U kolovozu prošle godine pristupio je najtrofejnijem sportskom kolektivu u Austriji, bečkom Rapidu, s kojim je potpisao ugovor do 2026, pišu Sportske novosti.
