Informacija koja je neslužbenim kanalima stigla u javnost još u nedjelju dobila je svoju potvrdu u ponedjeljak nakon sastanka Upravnog odbora Slavena Belupa. Ricardo Moniz više nije trener prve momčadi koprivničkog prvoligaša, na klupi će ga naslijediti Roy Ferenčina.

Nizozemski je stručnjak bio prvi inozemni trener na klupi Farmaceuta, no ta akrobacija nije dobila legitimaciju u uvodnim kolima novog prvenstva. Cijeli niz čimbenika utjecao je na slabiji prvenstveni start, počevši od velikih promjena u rosteru momčadi, preko problema s ozljedama, pa do Monizovih lutanja i nelogičnih poteza, kao i nepoznavanja lige i igrača, pišu Sportske novosti.

Da je dobio više vremena i povjerenja, kao i malo kvalitetniji kadar, možda je ovaj obožavatelj lika i djela Tomislava Ivića mogao stvari posložiti prema svojoj viziji napadačkog nogometa s visokim presingom. Međutim, nije uspio uvjeriti navijače, a ni klupske čelnike da mu momčad ide u dobrom smjeru. Stolica mu se tresla već uoči gostovanja kod Gorice, no tamo je izvukao remi (2:2), da bi mu presudio domaći poraz od Lokomotive (0:1) prošlog petka. Nizozemac je ostvario jednu pobjedu, tri remija i tri poraza uz gol-razliku 10:18, te najviše primljenih pogodaka od svih prvoligaša.

Kako momčad u kontinuitetu nije izgledala dobro, niti su se mogli uočiti neki značajniji pomaci prema boljem, Slavenovo čelništvo je reagiralo i za novog trenera izabrala lice dobro poznato koprivničkim ljubiteljima nogometa. Roy Ferenčina je među Slavenovim navijačima stekao reputaciju klupske legende zahvaljujući beskompromisnim nastupima u plavom dresu. Za Farmaceute je odigrao 172 prvenstvene utakmice i postigao 11 pogodaka, a umirovio se početkom 2005. godine nakon sukoba s tadašnjim trenerom Brankom Karačićem na pripremama u Međugorju.

Ostao je u nogometu kao trener te je u svojstvu pomoćnika Elvisa Scorije sudjelovao u spašavanju prvoligaškog statusa Slavena 2006. godine, da bi godinu dana kasnije isti trenerski dvojac po prvi put ostvario plasman u finale Hrvatskog nogometnog kupa te u tadašnji Kup UEFA-e.

Samostalnu trenersku karijeru započeo je 2008. godine kao trener juniora Lokomotive, potom je u klubu s Kajzerice bio i pomoćni trener, a od travnja 2009. do listopada 2010. vodio je i prvu momčad u 40 utakmica.

Na klupi Slavena prvi put je bio od ožujka 2011. te je potrajao nepune dvije godine, u 65 utakmica prosječno je osvajao 1.62 boda po susretu. Ostvario je plasman na treće mjesto u HNL-u te je stigao do 3. pretkola Europske lige kao posljednji trener koji je Farmaceute odveo u Europu. Oproštaj je bio sa stilom, uz pobjedu protiv Bielsinog Athletic Bilbaa (2:1) u Koprivnici, no Baski su zbog pobjede od 3:1 na starom San Mamesu tada prošli dalje.

Ferenčina je kasnije u karijeri samostalno vodio Vinogradar, Škendiju, Hrvatski dragovoljac i Kustošiju, a bio je i pomoćnik Anti Čačiću u egipatskom Pyramidsu i zagrebačkom Dinamu...

Informacija koja je neslužbenim kanalima stigla u javnost još u nedjelju dobila je svoju potvrdu u ponedjeljak nakon sastanka Upravnog odbora Slavena Belupa. Ricardo Moniz više nije trener prve momčadi koprivničkog prvoligaša, na klupi će ga naslijediti Roy Ferenčina.

Nizozemski je stručnjak bio prvi inozemni trener na klupi Farmaceuta, no ta akrobacija nije dobila legitimaciju u uvodnim kolima novog prvenstva. Cijeli niz čimbenika utjecao je na slabiji prvenstveni start, počevši od velikih promjena u rosteru momčadi, preko problema s ozljedama, pa do Monizovih lutanja i nelogičnih poteza, kao i nepoznavanja lige i igrača, pišu Sportske novosti.

Da je dobio više vremena i povjerenja, kao i malo kvalitetniji kadar, možda je ovaj obožavatelj lika i djela Tomislava Ivića mogao stvari posložiti prema svojoj viziji napadačkog nogometa s visokim presingom. Međutim, nije uspio uvjeriti navijače, a ni klupske čelnike da mu momčad ide u dobrom smjeru. Stolica mu se tresla već uoči gostovanja kod Gorice, no tamo je izvukao remi (2:2), da bi mu presudio domaći poraz od Lokomotive (0:1) prošlog petka. Nizozemac je ostvario jednu pobjedu, tri remija i tri poraza uz gol-razliku 10:18, te najviše primljenih pogodaka od svih prvoligaša.

Kako momčad u kontinuitetu nije izgledala dobro, niti su se mogli uočiti neki značajniji pomaci prema boljem, Slavenovo čelništvo je reagiralo i za novog trenera izabrala lice dobro poznato koprivničkim ljubiteljima nogometa. Roy Ferenčina je među Slavenovim navijačima stekao reputaciju klupske legende zahvaljujući beskompromisnim nastupima u plavom dresu. Za Farmaceute je odigrao 172 prvenstvene utakmice i postigao 11 pogodaka, a umirovio se početkom 2005. godine nakon sukoba s tadašnjim trenerom Brankom Karačićem na pripremama u Međugorju.

Ostao je u nogometu kao trener te je u svojstvu pomoćnika Elvisa Scorije sudjelovao u spašavanju prvoligaškog statusa Slavena 2006. godine, da bi godinu dana kasnije isti trenerski dvojac po prvi put ostvario plasman u finale Hrvatskog nogometnog kupa te u tadašnji Kup UEFA-e.

Samostalnu trenersku karijeru započeo je 2008. godine kao trener juniora Lokomotive, potom je u klubu s Kajzerice bio i pomoćni trener, a od travnja 2009. do listopada 2010. vodio je i prvu momčad u 40 utakmica.

Na klupi Slavena prvi put je bio od ožujka 2011. te je potrajao nepune dvije godine, u 65 utakmica prosječno je osvajao 1.62 boda po susretu. Ostvario je plasman na treće mjesto u HNL-u te je stigao do 3. pretkola Europske lige kao posljednji trener koji je Farmaceute odveo u Europu. Oproštaj je bio sa stilom, uz pobjedu protiv Bielsinog Athletic Bilbaa (2:1) u Koprivnici, no Baski su zbog pobjede od 3:1 na starom San Mamesu tada prošli dalje.

Ferenčina je kasnije u karijeri samostalno vodio Vinogradar, Škendiju, Hrvatski dragovoljac i Kustošiju, a bio je i pomoćnik Anti Čačiću u egipatskom Pyramidsu i zagrebačkom Dinamu...

Slaven Belupo otpustio Moniza i ekspresno našao novog trenera

Informacija koja je neslužbenim kanalima stigla u javnost još u nedjelju dobila je svoju potvrdu u ponedjeljak nakon sastanka Upravnog odbora Slavena Belupa. Ricardo Moniz više nije trener prve momčadi koprivničkog prvoligaša, na klupi će ga naslijediti Roy Ferenčina.

Nizozemski je stručnjak bio prvi inozemni trener na klupi Farmaceuta, no ta akrobacija nije dobila legitimaciju u uvodnim kolima novog prvenstva. Cijeli niz čimbenika utjecao je na slabiji prvenstveni start, počevši od velikih promjena u rosteru momčadi, preko problema s ozljedama, pa do Monizovih lutanja i nelogičnih poteza, kao i nepoznavanja lige i igrača, pišu Sportske novosti.

Da je dobio više vremena i povjerenja, kao i malo kvalitetniji kadar, možda je ovaj obožavatelj lika i djela Tomislava Ivića mogao stvari posložiti prema svojoj viziji napadačkog nogometa s visokim presingom. Međutim, nije uspio uvjeriti navijače, a ni klupske čelnike da mu momčad ide u dobrom smjeru. Stolica mu se tresla već uoči gostovanja kod Gorice, no tamo je izvukao remi (2:2), da bi mu presudio domaći poraz od Lokomotive (0:1) prošlog petka. Nizozemac je ostvario jednu pobjedu, tri remija i tri poraza uz gol-razliku 10:18, te najviše primljenih pogodaka od svih prvoligaša.
