Splitska udruga za osobe s disleksijom “Dyxy” nastavila je rad u novim prostorima u Matoševoj 29 u prostorima Gradskog kotara Spinut.
Ideja o osnivanju Udruge začela se iz interaktivnih radionica u Gradske knjižnice Marka Marulića - Ogranak Spinut koje su s uspjehom vodile logoped Vedrana Bašić i knjižničarka Meri Butirić u sklopu aktivnosti Gradske knjižnice.
- Iako se posljednjih desetak godina intenzivno govori i piše o disleksiji, kod nas joj se još uvijek ne posvećuje dovoljno pažnje i brige - kaže Meri Butirić, voditeljica udruge.
Disleksiju karakteriziraju poteškoće u čitanju, razumijevanju pročitanog, a često je prati i disgrafija (poteškoće u pisanju). Ova poteškoća nije vezana uz dob, obrazovanje niti inteligenciju, a danas je ima preko 10 posto svjetske populacije.
- Često su osobe s ovom poteškoćom natprosječno inteligentne i posebno darovite. Poznati dislektičari bili su Agatha Christie, Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, Pablo Picasso, Marlon Brando, Tom Cruise i mnogi drugi - objašnjava Butirić.
Dislektično dijete ima problema u savladavanju školskog gradiva jer teže čita, piše i računa, pa taj problem treba rano detektirati, pomoći im u prevladavanju poteškoća te pažljivo ih usmjeriti tragom njihovih nadarenosti, npr. u slikarstvo, informatiku, glumu itd.
- Dislektična djeca dugo slovkaju, tiho i nerazgovjetno izgovaraju riječi pri čitanju, ne čitaju točno, često zamjenjuju grafički slična slova, kratke riječi, riječi slične osnove, neke skraćuju, slova im se okreću, neuhvatljivo trče pred njihovim očima, gube dijelove riječi ili ne vide završetak rečenice... Zato im je neophodna pomoć škole, roditelja i logopeda - zaključuje Butirić.
Disleksija se može, uz stručnu pomoć, ublažiti i potpuno prevladati. Dijete kod kojeg je ona zanemarena, često bježi u delikvenciju i devijantnim ponašanjem skreće na sebe pažnju.

Splitska udruga za osobe s disleksijom “Dyxy” nastavila je rad u novim prostorima u Matoševoj 29 u prostorima Gradskog kotara Spinut.
Ideja o osnivanju Udruge začela se iz interaktivnih radionica u Gradske knjižnice Marka Marulića - Ogranak Spinut koje su s uspjehom vodile logoped Vedrana Bašić i knjižničarka Meri Butirić u sklopu aktivnosti Gradske knjižnice.
- Iako se posljednjih desetak godina intenzivno govori i piše o disleksiji, kod nas joj se još uvijek ne posvećuje dovoljno pažnje i brige - kaže Meri Butirić, voditeljica udruge.
Disleksiju karakteriziraju poteškoće u čitanju, razumijevanju pročitanog, a često je prati i disgrafija (poteškoće u pisanju). Ova poteškoća nije vezana uz dob, obrazovanje niti inteligenciju, a danas je ima preko 10 posto svjetske populacije.
- Često su osobe s ovom poteškoćom natprosječno inteligentne i posebno darovite. Poznati dislektičari bili su Agatha Christie, Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, Pablo Picasso, Marlon Brando, Tom Cruise i mnogi drugi - objašnjava Butirić.
Dislektično dijete ima problema u savladavanju školskog gradiva jer teže čita, piše i računa, pa taj problem treba rano detektirati, pomoći im u prevladavanju poteškoća te pažljivo ih usmjeriti tragom njihovih nadarenosti, npr. u slikarstvo, informatiku, glumu itd.
- Dislektična djeca dugo slovkaju, tiho i nerazgovjetno izgovaraju riječi pri čitanju, ne čitaju točno, često zamjenjuju grafički slična slova, kratke riječi, riječi slične osnove, neke skraćuju, slova im se okreću, neuhvatljivo trče pred njihovim očima, gube dijelove riječi ili ne vide završetak rečenice... Zato im je neophodna pomoć škole, roditelja i logopeda - zaključuje Butirić.
Disleksija se može, uz stručnu pomoć, ublažiti i potpuno prevladati. Dijete kod kojeg je ona zanemarena, često bježi u delikvenciju i devijantnim ponašanjem skreće na sebe pažnju.
