Lijepih, okruglih deset godina prošlo je od prvog predstavljanja “Crvene vertikale”, umjetničke instalacije Matka Trebotića, slikara, scenografa, grafičara i skulptora.

Intervencija “Crvena vertikala” zamišljena je na kamenoj obali blizu Matejuške, vizija je to umjetnika Trebotića i projektanta Zapadne obale Nenada Mikulandre, koja nikako da se i ostvari. Priupitali smo Matka Trebotića, povodom desete godišnjice inicijative, što je s projektom:

- Bit ću iskren: ne znam, a volio bih da bude. Nisam se gurao niti potezao za rukave predstavnike gradske uprave, računajući da će doći na svoje mjesto, a imao sam i dosta posla u ateljeu.

“Crvena vertikala” na novom obalnom potezu Zapadna obala - Matejuška prijedlog je moje donacije i izraz zahvalnosti voljenom gradu, čiju Nagradu za životno djelo imam čast nositi - iskren je Trebotić pa se prisjećamo gdje je sve putovala njegova “Vertikala”.

Predstavljena 2013.

Javnosti je prvi put predstavljena u programu Splitskog ljeta 2013. godine u Meštrovićevim Crikvinama i dobila verifikaciju struke i općinstva. Izložena je i 2019. godine ispred Galerije umjetnina tijekom izložbe “Univerzum Trebotić”, a tamo ju je udario kamion, pa ju je umjetnik u dijelovima prodavao u humanitarne svrhe. Putovala je Splitom, ali nikako do mjesta na kojem je zamišljena.

- Postavom na Matejuški značila bi počast baštini i suvremenosti, prostorni znak našeg turbulentnog vremena. Ta instalacija mogla bi se nazvati land-art. Tema je zemlja, hrvatska, dalmatinska zemlja - objašnjava umjetnik.

Tehnički gledano, u kamenu šetnice bila bi markirana starohrvatska crkvica, prepoznatljivi Trebotićev motiv, i to samo drugačijom obradom kamena, štokovanjem.

Crkvica je okrenuta prema Svetome Duji. Iz apside, na mjestu oltara prema nebu bi se pružila željezna vertikala crvene boje koja bi na svetkovinu gradskog patrona svetoga Dujma 7. svibnja bacala sjenu prema njegovoj katedrali. Crvena kao boja hrvatske zastave i grba boja je krvi i mučenika svetoga Duje.

- Iz apside crkvice gdje bi trebao biti oltar željezna je crvena vertikala koja se diže kao krik i kao borba za bolji svijet, kao protest prema društvu u kojem živimo, ne samo hrvatskom, nego šire, mislim na stanje globalnog kapitalizma, na totalitarizme, na ratove.

Time bi s “Ružom vjetrova” Jagode Buić činila umjetničke akcente na potezu Banovina - Zapadna obala - Matejuška, kao početak i završetak - kaže Matko Trebotić. Na potezu je Banovina.

Lijepih, okruglih deset godina prošlo je od prvog predstavljanja “Crvene vertikale”, umjetničke instalacije Matka Trebotića, slikara, scenografa, grafičara i skulptora.

Intervencija “Crvena vertikala” zamišljena je na kamenoj obali blizu Matejuške, vizija je to umjetnika Trebotića i projektanta Zapadne obale Nenada Mikulandre, koja nikako da se i ostvari. Priupitali smo Matka Trebotića, povodom desete godišnjice inicijative, što je s projektom:

- Bit ću iskren: ne znam, a volio bih da bude. Nisam se gurao niti potezao za rukave predstavnike gradske uprave, računajući da će doći na svoje mjesto, a imao sam i dosta posla u ateljeu.

“Crvena vertikala” na novom obalnom potezu Zapadna obala - Matejuška prijedlog je moje donacije i izraz zahvalnosti voljenom gradu, čiju Nagradu za životno djelo imam čast nositi - iskren je Trebotić pa se prisjećamo gdje je sve putovala njegova “Vertikala”.

Predstavljena 2013.

Javnosti je prvi put predstavljena u programu Splitskog ljeta 2013. godine u Meštrovićevim Crikvinama i dobila verifikaciju struke i općinstva. Izložena je i 2019. godine ispred Galerije umjetnina tijekom izložbe “Univerzum Trebotić”, a tamo ju je udario kamion, pa ju je umjetnik u dijelovima prodavao u humanitarne svrhe. Putovala je Splitom, ali nikako do mjesta na kojem je zamišljena.

- Postavom na Matejuški značila bi počast baštini i suvremenosti, prostorni znak našeg turbulentnog vremena. Ta instalacija mogla bi se nazvati land-art. Tema je zemlja, hrvatska, dalmatinska zemlja - objašnjava umjetnik.

Tehnički gledano, u kamenu šetnice bila bi markirana starohrvatska crkvica, prepoznatljivi Trebotićev motiv, i to samo drugačijom obradom kamena, štokovanjem.

Crkvica je okrenuta prema Svetome Duji. Iz apside, na mjestu oltara prema nebu bi se pružila željezna vertikala crvene boje koja bi na svetkovinu gradskog patrona svetoga Dujma 7. svibnja bacala sjenu prema njegovoj katedrali. Crvena kao boja hrvatske zastave i grba boja je krvi i mučenika svetoga Duje.

- Iz apside crkvice gdje bi trebao biti oltar željezna je crvena vertikala koja se diže kao krik i kao borba za bolji svijet, kao protest prema društvu u kojem živimo, ne samo hrvatskom, nego šire, mislim na stanje globalnog kapitalizma, na totalitarizme, na ratove.

Time bi s “Ružom vjetrova” Jagode Buić činila umjetničke akcente na potezu Banovina - Zapadna obala - Matejuška, kao početak i završetak - kaže Matko Trebotić. Na potezu je Banovina.
