Problem raskrižja "kod Kroma" u Splitu od davnih dana intrigira javnost, ali i prometne stručnjake. Nakon što je Slobodna objavila da se na ovom raskrižju u posljednjih 15 godina dogodilo 189 prometnih nesreća od kojih je jedna nažalost završila tragično, s prijedlogom rješenja se javio Petar Šišić, osječki sudski vještak za cestovni promet.
Na križanju ulica Slobode, Domovinskog rata i Hrvatske mornarice predlaže napraviti kružni tok. Jedino bi se na taj način, tvrdi, natjeralo vozače da smanje brzinu, a samim time bi se smanjio i broj težih prometnih nesreća.
- Na taj bi se način teže nesreće izbjegle, ali se broj sudara ne bi smanjio, no posljedice bi bile znatno manje. Ne znači da se ne bi moglo dogoditi da netko pogine, imao sam slučajeva da čovjek pogine kod sudara brzine od oko 20 kilometara na sat.

Gužva bi ostala približno ista ili malo veća, a na početku bi se znatno povećala dok se vozači malo ne uvježbaju vožnju kroz kružni tok. Za kvalitetno dugoročno rješenje nužno bi bilo drugačije riješiti regulaciju prometa u širem području, za što treba više vremena i novca. Napominjem da savršeno rješenje ne postoji - kaže Šišić i obrazlaže da rješenja nema dok se na splitskim cestama ne smanji broj automobila.

- Osobni automobili su najčešće dugački 4,5 - 5 metara, pa se za ovu ilustraciju može uzeti 4,75 metara. Uzmimo da se automobili gibaju u koloni brzinom od 10 kilometara na sat i razmak između automobila je jedan metar, tada na jedan kilometar ceste stane cca 174 automobila.
Ako se promotri situacija da između automobila uopće nema uzdužnog razmaka, tada na duljinu ceste od jedan kilometar stane točno 210,5 automobila, odnosno zaokruženo 210 automobila, više naprosto fizički ne stane. Time želim reći da u situaciji kada se cestom želi kretati više automobila nego što ih objektivno može stati, zastoj je neminovan.
U toj činjenici leži i polazište za rješenje - smanjiti broj automobila na cesti - zaključuje Šišić.

Problem raskrižja "kod Kroma" u Splitu od davnih dana intrigira javnost, ali i prometne stručnjake. Nakon što je Slobodna objavila da se na ovom raskrižju u posljednjih 15 godina dogodilo 189 prometnih nesreća od kojih je jedna nažalost završila tragično, s prijedlogom rješenja se javio Petar Šišić, osječki sudski vještak za cestovni promet.
Na križanju ulica Slobode, Domovinskog rata i Hrvatske mornarice predlaže napraviti kružni tok. Jedino bi se na taj način, tvrdi, natjeralo vozače da smanje brzinu, a samim time bi se smanjio i broj težih prometnih nesreća.
- Na taj bi se način teže nesreće izbjegle, ali se broj sudara ne bi smanjio, no posljedice bi bile znatno manje. Ne znači da se ne bi moglo dogoditi da netko pogine, imao sam slučajeva da čovjek pogine kod sudara brzine od oko 20 kilometara na sat.

Gužva bi ostala približno ista ili malo veća, a na početku bi se znatno povećala dok se vozači malo ne uvježbaju vožnju kroz kružni tok. Za kvalitetno dugoročno rješenje nužno bi bilo drugačije riješiti regulaciju prometa u širem području, za što treba više vremena i novca. Napominjem da savršeno rješenje ne postoji - kaže Šišić i obrazlaže da rješenja nema dok se na splitskim cestama ne smanji broj automobila.

- Osobni automobili su najčešće dugački 4,5 - 5 metara, pa se za ovu ilustraciju može uzeti 4,75 metara. Uzmimo da se automobili gibaju u koloni brzinom od 10 kilometara na sat i razmak između automobila je jedan metar, tada na jedan kilometar ceste stane cca 174 automobila.
Ako se promotri situacija da između automobila uopće nema uzdužnog razmaka, tada na duljinu ceste od jedan kilometar stane točno 210,5 automobila, odnosno zaokruženo 210 automobila, više naprosto fizički ne stane. Time želim reći da u situaciji kada se cestom želi kretati više automobila nego što ih objektivno može stati, zastoj je neminovan.
U toj činjenici leži i polazište za rješenje - smanjiti broj automobila na cesti - zaključuje Šišić.
