Splitski gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak se na prvu radnu nedjelju u Splitu u 2024. imao potrebu osvrnuti na jučerašnje koškanje s premijerom Andrejom Plenkovićem, kako bi pomogao javnosti da donese konačni sud o tome tko je on njih dvojice manji vjernik.

Njegovo svjedočenje prenosimo u cijelosti:

"Pitaju me zašto sam Plenkovića pitao za 7. Božju zapovijed. Moj odgovor je zato što je on prvi spomenuo vjeru, a to je vrlo dobar znak da ga nešto boli i da nije iskren. Ništa novo za njega, ali ovo je prešlo granice dobrog ukusa.

Nije nikakvo otkriće da nas dvojica predstavljamo dvije različite Hrvatske. Evo kako ja to vidim.

Rođen sam 1969. godine i moje djetinjstvo i dio mladosti je bilo u Jugoslaviji. Moji roditelji imaju skromno obrazovanje i cijeli život su naporno radili da prehrane i odgoje tri moje sestre i mene. Danas mogu reći da su oni bili motiv da i danas živim vrijednosti poštenja, odgovornosti i radišnosti. Cijela moja obitelj je religiozna te sam u djetinjstvu i mladosti bio aktivan u crkvi. Tijekom odrastanja sam prihvatio kršćanske vrijednosti iskrenosti, blagosti, kao i ljubavi i brige prema svim ljudima, bez obzira na njihovo porijeklo ili opredjeljenje. Kad sam postao znanstvenik, više nisam mogao pomiriti znanost i vjeru, i to sam priznao najprije sebi, a onda i ostalima. Nije to bilo lako, niti popularno. U mojoj političkoj karijeri je bilo oportunije ostati vjernik, ali ja to nisam mogao, jer se kosilo s mojim odgojem i mojim karakterom. Iskrenost i sloboda su mi važniji. Za sebe danas kažem da sam humanist, te mislim da se prave vrijednosti humanizma u velikoj mjeri podudaraju s pravim vrijednostima kršćanstva.

Plenković je predstavnik jedne druge Hrvatske, koja je promijenila strane, ne iz uvjerenja, nego jer su u tome vidjeli koristi. On je rođen pola godine kasnije od mene, što znači da je isto tako odrastao u Jugoslaviji. Bio je pripadnik jednog drugačijeg društvenog sloja i odrastao je u okruženju kojemu vjera nije bila u centru zbivanja. U novoj Hrvatskoj naglo je postao vjernikom, i to nakon što se učlanio u HDZ, što je bilo prilično oportuno i penjao se u karijeri kroz stranačku hijerarhiju. Danas je predsjednik stranke koja je osuđena za kriminal, vjeru spominje kad mu odgovara, kad misli da će zbog toga dobiti glasove. Naravno, nije na meni da previše komentiram ako netko pronađe vjeru, ima puno iskrenih ljudi koji su to napravili, ali mi Plenković nekako ne spada u tu kategoriju. Više mi se čini da je on vjernik jer mu je to trebalo u njegovoj karijeri. On nije vjernik od uvjerenja, nego vjernik od zanata.

Znam da cijeli ovaj tekst nije baš popularan i da se neće svidjeti HDZ-ovcima i njihovim poltronima. To ćete vidjeti po količini komentara od raznih branitelja Velikog vođe. Ali kao što već znate, ja ne radim stvari jer su popularne, nego jer vjerujem u njih. A vjerujem da treba raskrinkati da postoje dvije Hrvatske, ova manjinska koja vlada već 30 godina i ova većinska koja sve to trpi i ne živi dobro radi njih. Ja sam nepopravljivi optimist i mislim da mi iz ove druge Hrvatske trebamo više hrabrosti i prostora za promjene. Mi smo ih u Splitu već napravili, a nadam se da ćemo dobiti priliku da ih napravimo i u Hrvatskoj."

Splitski gradonačelnik Ivica Puljak se na prvu radnu nedjelju u Splitu u 2024. imao potrebu osvrnuti na jučerašnje koškanje s premijerom Andrejom Plenkovićem, kako bi pomogao javnosti da donese konačni sud o tome tko je on njih dvojice manji vjernik.

Njegovo svjedočenje prenosimo u cijelosti:

"Pitaju me zašto sam Plenkovića pitao za 7. Božju zapovijed. Moj odgovor je zato što je on prvi spomenuo vjeru, a to je vrlo dobar znak da ga nešto boli i da nije iskren. Ništa novo za njega, ali ovo je prešlo granice dobrog ukusa.

Nije nikakvo otkriće da nas dvojica predstavljamo dvije različite Hrvatske. Evo kako ja to vidim.

Rođen sam 1969. godine i moje djetinjstvo i dio mladosti je bilo u Jugoslaviji. Moji roditelji imaju skromno obrazovanje i cijeli život su naporno radili da prehrane i odgoje tri moje sestre i mene. Danas mogu reći da su oni bili motiv da i danas živim vrijednosti poštenja, odgovornosti i radišnosti. Cijela moja obitelj je religiozna te sam u djetinjstvu i mladosti bio aktivan u crkvi. Tijekom odrastanja sam prihvatio kršćanske vrijednosti iskrenosti, blagosti, kao i ljubavi i brige prema svim ljudima, bez obzira na njihovo porijeklo ili opredjeljenje. Kad sam postao znanstvenik, više nisam mogao pomiriti znanost i vjeru, i to sam priznao najprije sebi, a onda i ostalima. Nije to bilo lako, niti popularno. U mojoj političkoj karijeri je bilo oportunije ostati vjernik, ali ja to nisam mogao, jer se kosilo s mojim odgojem i mojim karakterom. Iskrenost i sloboda su mi važniji. Za sebe danas kažem da sam humanist, te mislim da se prave vrijednosti humanizma u velikoj mjeri podudaraju s pravim vrijednostima kršćanstva.

Plenković je predstavnik jedne druge Hrvatske, koja je promijenila strane, ne iz uvjerenja, nego jer su u tome vidjeli koristi. On je rođen pola godine kasnije od mene, što znači da je isto tako odrastao u Jugoslaviji. Bio je pripadnik jednog drugačijeg društvenog sloja i odrastao je u okruženju kojemu vjera nije bila u centru zbivanja. U novoj Hrvatskoj naglo je postao vjernikom, i to nakon što se učlanio u HDZ, što je bilo prilično oportuno i penjao se u karijeri kroz stranačku hijerarhiju. Danas je predsjednik stranke koja je osuđena za kriminal, vjeru spominje kad mu odgovara, kad misli da će zbog toga dobiti glasove. Naravno, nije na meni da previše komentiram ako netko pronađe vjeru, ima puno iskrenih ljudi koji su to napravili, ali mi Plenković nekako ne spada u tu kategoriju. Više mi se čini da je on vjernik jer mu je to trebalo u njegovoj karijeri. On nije vjernik od uvjerenja, nego vjernik od zanata.

Znam da cijeli ovaj tekst nije baš popularan i da se neće svidjeti HDZ-ovcima i njihovim poltronima. To ćete vidjeti po količini komentara od raznih branitelja Velikog vođe. Ali kao što već znate, ja ne radim stvari jer su popularne, nego jer vjerujem u njih. A vjerujem da treba raskrinkati da postoje dvije Hrvatske, ova manjinska koja vlada već 30 godina i ova većinska koja sve to trpi i ne živi dobro radi njih. Ja sam nepopravljivi optimist i mislim da mi iz ove druge Hrvatske trebamo više hrabrosti i prostora za promjene. Mi smo ih u Splitu već napravili, a nadam se da ćemo dobiti priliku da ih napravimo i u Hrvatskoj."
