Matica Hrvatska, najstarija kulturna institucija u zemlji, starija i od Hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti, danas slavi 180. godina postojanja, dok njen ogranak u Splitu obilježava okrugli 70. rođendan. Povodom svog velikog dana "najkulturnija" institucija u zemlji odlučila je izaći na ulice i potrčati! Doslovno. Rođendan je obilježen, dakle, prvom ikada revijalnom utrkom u organizaciji Matice Hrvatske (MH) koja je održana baš u Splitu. Najsportskijem gradu na svitu. Trčalo se i hodalo Ulicom Matice Hrvatske od Športskoga centra Gripe, točnije od križanja s Osječkom ulicom, pa sve do križanja s Bušićevom i natrag.

Raspoložena skupina među kojom je bilo kadrova iz osnovnoškolske i vrtićke dobi, pa sve do onih koji su zakoračili u treće životno razdoblje, u 11 sati uputila se cestom u smjeru Bušićeve ulice. Natjecatelje je podržao i splitsko-dalmatinski župan Blaženko Boban, inače član Matice Hrvatske. Po povratku tijesna je bila borba između dječaka Marka i Luke za prvo mjesto, ali Marko je ipak bio koju sekundu brži.

Ponosnom pobjedniku prve utrke koju organizira ova institucija, 15-godišnjem Marku Dražiću, trčanje nije strano, a bome ni drugi sportovi.

- Bavim se rukometom već dvije godine, a danas sam se odlučio utrkivati jer sam htio iskusiti nešto novo. Bilo je super, malo naporno ali uspio sam. Trčao sam bez stajanja, umjerenim tempom i bio sam prvi. Konkurencija je bila jaka, drugi je bio dječak Luka, cijelo smo vrijeme bili jedan iza drugoga. Inače sudjelujem u raznim utrkama sa školom – kaže nam Marko, učenik Ekonomske škole. Svi su sudionici na poklon dobili knjigu izdanja MH-a, dok je pobjednik dobio reprezentativno štivo "Povijest Hrvata".

Trčanje nikako nije strano ni Ani Piplici, reklo bi se ženi od maratona! Ovo joj je već tko zna koja utrka u nizu, ni ne broji, a obišla je i istrčala sve svjetske metropole sudjelujući na maratonima. Prije koji se dan baš se vratila iz Chicaga gdje je za pet sati istrčala 42 kilometra dugu maratonsku dionicu.

- Članica sam maraton kluba Marjan, sad sam vam bila u Chicagu i bilo je fenomenalno. Sudjelovalo je 45 tisuća ljudi iz cijeloga svijeta, Chicago živi za taj maraton, oko ograde je bilo oko milijun ljudi koji su nas bodrili. To vam je njima kao nacionalno praznik, nešto fascinantno. Iz Splita je bilo pet trkača, uz mene Kristijan Sindik, Kristina Novak, Suzana Miše i Ante Bućan. Cijeli život sam amaterski u sportu, a počela sam se natjecati prije 13 godina – govori nam 65-godišnja Ana koja je na revijalnu utrku došla u društvu 11-godišnje unuke Marte koja je već debelo krenula bakinim maratonskim stopama. Kako se kaže, u zdravom tijelu je i zdrav duh! Ono što nam Ana naglašava jest da se nikada ne forsira, sluša svoje tijelo, a trčati planira dok je noge budu služile.

- Ništa ne forsiram, treniram samo nediljom. Meni su obitelj i posao na prvom mjestu, ne živi se od maratona. To je meni jedna razonoda, druženje s dragim ljudima, a poslije toga idemo na kavu. Ne glupiram se, nemam ni trenera ni programe, slušam svoje tijelo! Mladima je stimulans rezultat, a meni druženje i razonoda – zbori Ana kojoj duge staze nije naporno izdržati. Veli nam kako svako pet kilometara stane na okrjepu i istezanje, a onda nastavi svojim putem do cilja. A cilj joj je vratiti se svojoj kući, obitelji i obavezama. Ova svjetska maratonska žena pretrčala je već sve europske metropole, Prag, Ljubljanu, Beograd, München, Split, Zagreb, Skoplje, Ženevu, Berlin, New York… Početkom studenoga na repertoaru joj je Istanbul čime će obilježiti i azijski kontinent, a onda, nada se, da će još na svoje dvi noge uspjeti obići i Australiju.

Povodom ove obljetnice na neradnu je subotu svoja vrata otvorio splitski Muzej sporta u sklopu ŠC-a Gripe u kojega su svi sudionici utrke imali priliku zaviriti.

- Matica hrvatska se poput uspavane ljepotice budi i izlazi vani, na cestu, među sasvim obične ljude koje očekujemo na našoj proslavi, bilo kao šetače koji su svratili na piće ili trkače na utrci. U sklopu rođendana moguće je posjetiti i Kuću slave splitskog športa, jer što je Split nego grad mladih i sporta – ističe predsjednica splitskog Ogranka MH Snježana Šetka.

Matica Hrvatska, najstarija kulturna institucija u zemlji, starija i od Hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti, danas slavi 180. godina postojanja, dok njen ogranak u Splitu obilježava okrugli 70. rođendan. Povodom svog velikog dana "najkulturnija" institucija u zemlji odlučila je izaći na ulice i potrčati! Doslovno. Rođendan je obilježen, dakle, prvom ikada revijalnom utrkom u organizaciji Matice Hrvatske (MH) koja je održana baš u Splitu. Najsportskijem gradu na svitu. Trčalo se i hodalo Ulicom Matice Hrvatske od Športskoga centra Gripe, točnije od križanja s Osječkom ulicom, pa sve do križanja s Bušićevom i natrag.

Raspoložena skupina među kojom je bilo kadrova iz osnovnoškolske i vrtićke dobi, pa sve do onih koji su zakoračili u treće životno razdoblje, u 11 sati uputila se cestom u smjeru Bušićeve ulice. Natjecatelje je podržao i splitsko-dalmatinski župan Blaženko Boban, inače član Matice Hrvatske. Po povratku tijesna je bila borba između dječaka Marka i Luke za prvo mjesto, ali Marko je ipak bio koju sekundu brži.

Ponosnom pobjedniku prve utrke koju organizira ova institucija, 15-godišnjem Marku Dražiću, trčanje nije strano, a bome ni drugi sportovi.

- Bavim se rukometom već dvije godine, a danas sam se odlučio utrkivati jer sam htio iskusiti nešto novo. Bilo je super, malo naporno ali uspio sam. Trčao sam bez stajanja, umjerenim tempom i bio sam prvi. Konkurencija je bila jaka, drugi je bio dječak Luka, cijelo smo vrijeme bili jedan iza drugoga. Inače sudjelujem u raznim utrkama sa školom – kaže nam Marko, učenik Ekonomske škole. Svi su sudionici na poklon dobili knjigu izdanja MH-a, dok je pobjednik dobio reprezentativno štivo "Povijest Hrvata".

Trčanje nikako nije strano ni Ani Piplici, reklo bi se ženi od maratona! Ovo joj je već tko zna koja utrka u nizu, ni ne broji, a obišla je i istrčala sve svjetske metropole sudjelujući na maratonima. Prije koji se dan baš se vratila iz Chicaga gdje je za pet sati istrčala 42 kilometra dugu maratonsku dionicu.

- Članica sam maraton kluba Marjan, sad sam vam bila u Chicagu i bilo je fenomenalno. Sudjelovalo je 45 tisuća ljudi iz cijeloga svijeta, Chicago živi za taj maraton, oko ograde je bilo oko milijun ljudi koji su nas bodrili. To vam je njima kao nacionalno praznik, nešto fascinantno. Iz Splita je bilo pet trkača, uz mene Kristijan Sindik, Kristina Novak, Suzana Miše i Ante Bućan. Cijeli život sam amaterski u sportu, a počela sam se natjecati prije 13 godina – govori nam 65-godišnja Ana koja je na revijalnu utrku došla u društvu 11-godišnje unuke Marte koja je već debelo krenula bakinim maratonskim stopama. Kako se kaže, u zdravom tijelu je i zdrav duh! Ono što nam Ana naglašava jest da se nikada ne forsira, sluša svoje tijelo, a trčati planira dok je noge budu služile.

- Ništa ne forsiram, treniram samo nediljom. Meni su obitelj i posao na prvom mjestu, ne živi se od maratona. To je meni jedna razonoda, druženje s dragim ljudima, a poslije toga idemo na kavu. Ne glupiram se, nemam ni trenera ni programe, slušam svoje tijelo! Mladima je stimulans rezultat, a meni druženje i razonoda – zbori Ana kojoj duge staze nije naporno izdržati. Veli nam kako svako pet kilometara stane na okrjepu i istezanje, a onda nastavi svojim putem do cilja. A cilj joj je vratiti se svojoj kući, obitelji i obavezama. Ova svjetska maratonska žena pretrčala je već sve europske metropole, Prag, Ljubljanu, Beograd, München, Split, Zagreb, Skoplje, Ženevu, Berlin, New York… Početkom studenoga na repertoaru joj je Istanbul čime će obilježiti i azijski kontinent, a onda, nada se, da će još na svoje dvi noge uspjeti obići i Australiju.

Povodom ove obljetnice na neradnu je subotu svoja vrata otvorio splitski Muzej sporta u sklopu ŠC-a Gripe u kojega su svi sudionici utrke imali priliku zaviriti.

- Matica hrvatska se poput uspavane ljepotice budi i izlazi vani, na cestu, među sasvim obične ljude koje očekujemo na našoj proslavi, bilo kao šetače koji su svratili na piće ili trkače na utrci. U sklopu rođendana moguće je posjetiti i Kuću slave splitskog športa, jer što je Split nego grad mladih i sporta – ističe predsjednica splitskog Ogranka MH Snježana Šetka.

Matica Hrvatska, najstarija kulturna institucija u zemlji, starija i od Hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti, danas slavi 180. godina postojanja, dok njen ogranak u Splitu obilježava okrugli 70. rođendan. Povodom svog velikog dana "najkulturnija" institucija u zemlji odlučila je izaći na ulice i potrčati! Doslovno. Rođendan je obilježen, dakle, prvom ikada revijalnom utrkom u organizaciji Matice Hrvatske (MH) koja je održana baš u Splitu. Najsportskijem gradu na svitu. Trčalo se i hodalo Ulicom Matice Hrvatske od Športskoga centra Gripe, točnije od križanja s Osječkom ulicom, pa sve do križanja s Bušićevom i natrag.

Raspoložena skupina među kojom je bilo kadrova iz osnovnoškolske i vrtićke dobi, pa sve do onih koji su zakoračili u treće ž...
